The phantom in vr looks so realistic it’s unbelievable. I hope HeatBlur can facelift the Tomcat to make it look more realistic as it looks like a cardboard cutout compared to the Phantom. I know the Tomcat is still a favorite among the DCS pilots
I've found with the VR cut off it is when a user does not have their DCS Resolution at their monitors native resolution. A lot of people lower the DCS resolution to the minimum, which gains little to no performance increase. I found this by doing a little science experiment for my group seeing as a lot of them were having this issue and I was not.
HIP is not only great news but the absolute quality of the videos. You could watch the video and then watch it again, turning off the sound and just enjoying the visual quality. Congratulations on a job well done. 👍

I just started DCS for the first time, and im learning the Phantom, and im absolutely loving it !!! When it comes to Module updates how do I download them ?
Dcs releases updates that modify in waves all modules and maps plus core features. We always inform you when it happends and if you are on standalone dcs you have a updater.exe in the dcs install folder. If you use steam, it will prompt you for update when it happens
I held off on purchasing the F4 because I’m not really a fan of the real jet, but damn, it looks so good in DCS. Just the sheer level of detail of it makes me want to get it. Also, very excited for the Kiowa! Also, have fun in the Netherlands, please be sure to try the Bitterballen!

The Phantom was a damn near Phlawless release for me. It hurts the frame rates in VR but still not bad enough to be an issue! Heatblur is just on a whole other level to the rest.
Heatblur sets the standard in both quality and customer service; I hope ED and others follow troop, and also offer the pre-order discount to Steam players for the first week.

I can really accept, that you make such cooperations or promote your own giveaways, server and what ever else, but in this video ~ 37,5% of the time was "commercials" :D maybe you can increase the DCS content a little bit more, so that you don't get over the 25% mark? =) Would be great! Would be a shame, if your show would become a shopping stream =)
Hey Mantikor 👋 Sometimes there is not enough news to complete a full length video. Its DCS so not every week is filled with new stuff. We strive to deliver weakly content. Once that is not possible anymore you will need to result to other channels that don't do this as their main job.

now that the phantom is out, hopefully HB can release the Eurofighter...in a couple of years
They did say they’d take their time. At the very least, they promised it will be complete upon release.

you deserve a medal, i tested many thing, also desinstall Quad-Views-Foveated-1.1.3, but it was the resolution 1280x720 the culprit.
Aah thank you. I am one of those who set my dcs res to minimum. I will change that then as I can rarely see the menu.

I would assume this is the selfie mode HB introduced. Don't know the assigned key but I think you will find it in keybindings.
