Are you talking about select detected text in the camera settings? If so it’s available with iOS 18 on all iPhones. If you aren’t talking about that feature, I need more details as to which one you are talking about.

@@DHTV In the voice memo, when the voice recording starts, a double symbol, which looks like a comma, appears at the bottom left of the screen (,,) when you press them, everything we record starts and creates as text at the same time.

Ohh, yes the voice control transcription is available with iPhones with iOS 18. As far as I know it is not just limited to the iPhone 16. My iPhone 15 has the Transcribe option in voice memos.

Still unable to turn on iPhone 16

I don't know if they changed it but the control ringer with volume buttons used to be turned on by default, did they change that to off? If they did thats good, cause changing ringtone volume with the buttons is a bad idea imo. I always have it turned off, or else you might end up accidentally turning it down when watching videos or listening to music, and then you end up with the ring tone being to low, same with alarm tone it will also be to low. Setting it to a fixed level is better without being able to control it with the volume buttons, this way you can set it at a level high enough so that you can always hear it when it rings.
Also how do you adjust your media volume if you set the buttons to control ringer volume ?

Ringtone volume controls with the volume rockers is set to off by default but when on, it only controls ringtone volume when there isn’t media playing. While media is playing the volume rockers control media volume.

@@DHTV Okay I see, in the past I think it was always on by default, so when they finally gave us the chance to turn it off I did that and kept it that way, way to many times I turned the ringer down by accident so it ended up being to low and I couldnt hear the call. Is why I prefer having it set to a fixed volume without being able to adjust it with the buttons. I would recommend this for most people. I like being able to turn the volume up or down for my media before I start the playback.
