Can I say how brave you are speaking so honestly and being incredibly transparent about what you've done, why you've done it, and your feelings on wanting to look younger etc. So many others have done the same things, think the same way, but would never admit it especially on a platform like this. Good for you Jenifer 🌺
@@JeniferJenkinsBeauty He always reminded me like a young Richard Gere. Like you, I have a wonderful husband that would never pic out a flaw on me. We have been married almost 48 years. Your surgery came out beautifully.
Had upper and lower eyes done when I was 30. It has kept me looking young. I’m 54 and getting them done again next year. Ladies do whatever makes you happy. Love you Jennifer you look beautiful as usual 💖🎀💖🎀
You had a good surgery Jenifer. I never had hooded eyes, but they became hooded after I turned 40. I got my upper bleph at 46 and I love it! I have tons of lid space as I did but even I told my dr to be conservative. I didn’t want to not look like myself. I will probably do it again in 10 years because the skin is just going to drop again. It was such an easy surgery. But I know in a year or two I will get a conservative brow lift. You have to be very realistic and communicate everything to the surgeon. Your fears, what you don’t want. It’s almost more important than what you do want. And yes, everyone is asymmetrical! Thanks for the video, you look great!
I’m so glad to hear that you love your results! 🙌😁 It’s funny how much I appreciate my little eyelids now that I can see them again. Lol! And I’m with you, should they fall again, I will definitely be revisiting my surgeon. ❤️😘
The eyelid surgery was a huge success. You look exactly the same without the aggravation and I can tell you feel so much better. That’s the important part. This was so well done for anyone looking to fix this problem. Thanks for sharing your experience.❤️😘
Your eyes look great and so natural. I had my eyes done when I was 60. My hooded eyelids were so bad my insurance paid for it. It's been about 7 years ago. Time to do it again.
I think your eyes look great!! I actually just removed my implants - I had an explant and lift. I had saline implants for 15 years. They still looked great but I suspected they were making me sick so I made the difficult decision to explant. What’s crazy is the surgery was so much more expensive than an implant swap! So happy you’re happy with your results!
Hi Shannon Do you mind me asking how your doing now after your surgery ? Are you happy with the results ( maybe too early to say ) Ive been contemplating whether to get an implant swap or whether to do the explant & lift..Im guessing it could be a little of a shock to begin with but Im starting to like tge look of more smaller breasts..I feel mine look quite large on my smaller frame now & actually adds kilos to a lot of things Im now wearing..Id appreciate your throughts on your recent surgery if your comfortable sharing 💗

Having hooded double eyelids myself, i can easily tell when someone has had upper eyelid surgery even if the scar is healed super well. This is because the new crease itself is literally a cut versus without surgery its an eyelid fold (the line is not as thin at the crease line) the crease line is not like an surgery knive cut. I agree, I wish I could have my implants removed even though they are not huge. Now that I am older I think that it looks matronly to be bigger, and it uses us space so makes your boobs look lower and less waist definition above the waist line even if one is slim and not overweight.

Jenifer, I wanted to comment and say that I was looking through your videos trying to figure out what procedure you might have done to get your jawline so snatched at 50. I thought you must have done Ultherapy or even a mini lift. It wasn't until I got to about min 31 that I realized you hadn't had anything done and were discussing options with your Dr haha. Just wanted to say, that you do not need a mini lift, you have an enviously youthful face shape.
You look super cute before and after but you should do what makes you happy! I have the sides of my forehead volume decreasing like overnight and I am super sad about it
Your eyes look fabulous. Glad to know the scars are minimal. For celebs like JLo I see them, but I bet she’s had that surgery more than once & that’s why. I agree with your husband on the implants. They were perfect before and looked more natural. The size they are now and how they come up higher makes it clear they are implants.
Well, it takes up to a year for breast implants to settle. I should have posted a pic of me with my original breast implant right after I'd gotten them. They literally looked like they were bolted on. Lol! Unless you have a lot of breast tissue prior to breast implants, they typically look very unnatural for at least one year before they settle in and take on a more natural look. ❤🌺

Not true about a consultation fee. I live in a senior living area… A very big one in FL…and all the consultation appointments are free. Very big competitive market. You look great!
Omg, you are absolutely gorgeous. I am turning 50 and I am feeling as I look so old): your eyes look great! Im a new follower and you inspire me. May I ask if you have gotten fillers? Im considering filler but only if it will look as good as you(: thanks for being open.
Just had this done four weeks ago. Did you have crazy upper eye tightness whenever you tried to close your lids? I can close my eyes, but it’s a stretch. How long before the tightness went away?
My mother in law lives 3 hours away from me, but she had told me that her hair dresser told her that several of his cients had come to my city to have plastic surgery done by my sugeon Dr. Rose....and apparently they loved his results. I viewed his before and after picture gallery and set a consultation. So I would say , look for recommendations and defintely view their before and after gallery. I could tell by his gallery that he was conservative in his approach which is TOTALLY what I was looking for! ❤🤗
Lol! I’m so bad about that! I specifically put that little clip in so I wouldn’t mess with it and then I did anyway.😂 It’s because of the length. When it falls forests I can feel it so I push it back. Maybe I’ll just grow it back out. 😁❤️💋
@@JeniferJenkinsBeauty Thanks for taking it well! After I posted it I thought maybe I shouldn’t. I didn’t mean it as a criticism, I just know if I were ever brave enough to put myself out there on RUclips, I’d want to know about my habits and mannerisms! Thanks for the great videos.
I didn't notice your scars at all. I'm 49 and few months ago I ate in front of mirror to see what I look like when I eat and my face looks so weird when I chew. lol I wish I would not have known that. Did you do a video on the temple filler? I didn't remember that one.

Jenifer you always look great to me. I love looking at the older pictures of you, but I really do think you are aging great. Omg when you showed those pics of Kenny Rogers 😳 he did too much to himself in my opinion. I have always loved him growing up. I always thought he was so handsome, then he had too much done to his face. But I still loved him, RIP😥anyway I pick apart my face as I have gotten older. The one thing I have noticed that I can’t stand is I have one big smile line, on my right side of my face. My makeup settles into it, and I can’t stand it. Then I thought about it, I sleep on that side of my body. So my face is smushed into the pillow. I sleep on a silk pillowcase, but I have been trying my best to stay on my back. But when I wake up, I will still manage to be on that side😫I guess maybe I need some filler or something. What do people do for a smile line, Botox or filler? I have been doing the red light filler, using the snail mucin that you told me about. But that one line is getting on my nerves bad. When I look at my face, when I have makeup on that’s exactly where my eyes go, to that one line!!! Anyway great video ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for this video! I have the same issue with my eyes where one drops more than the other. They were always not symmetrical but as I have aged the one that is different has become more obvious. I have thought of doing this but I am so scared about it.
Thank you! ❤️ That’s how it was for me as well. My right eye would feel so heavy compared to my left and eyeshadow became a necessity. However, there were some days (like the day of my surgery) where they were both very heavy. I actually preferred those days because they looked more symmetrical. If you get it done I hope you Love your results! ❤️🤗💋
You look great and your eyes look natural. You don't need anything done. If you start tweaking too much, it might end up looking unnatural. I would love to have it done, but too scared of anaesthetic and ending up looking like Caitlyn Jenner!
They did Kenny Rogers dirty with that eye job . That's what scares me . Another celebrity that looked strange after is Renee Zelwegger . I have hooded eyes like you do and they are saggy ,baggy elephant lids . I want mine done but I hesitate .
Oh trust me, I was SO SCARED! I had already discussed it (relentlessly) with my husband and he had actually given me the go-ahead (reluctantly) almost 2 yrs prior. It took me THAT long to work up the courage. 😂 I’m so glad I did! If you ever do, I hope you find a great plastic surgeon and I hope you LOVE your results! ❤️🥰💋
Would you or are you considering a facelift? We are supposed to get them done mid to late 50’s. That’s When the face starts to fall. Therefore you get it to keep the youthful looking appearance before you start looking older in your 60s. I’m doing research now and wondering if you are too.
I am definitely considering it up the road.😊 I’m just now beginning to notice a looseness in my lower face and neck. And I’d rather address it earlier than later so that I can enjoy it. ❤️💋🤗
It would be great if you would also do videos on your research about it and if you went through with it the process., I am same age as you with no wrinkles but I also can start to see mild droop. Thanks for sharing your experiences! 💞
I think your eyes look fantastic! I'm all for women doing what makes them feel confident, as along as it's safe. I understand surgery to combat the aging process, but I don't understand surgery to have the perfect body. Men really prefer that women are happy with their God-given body. I admire Kelly Ripa because she is completely flat chested and she owns it. Her husband likes her chest size! A man once told me that a woman's nak*d body is sexy to a man, no matter if her breast are nubs. Most women need to work on acceptance. We are rarely happy when we change our body type. Case in point, you got bigger boobs, but wanted them even bigger, for whatever reason. Personally, I feel they looked better smaller. The goal is for surgery to look natural and they do not look natural. Anyway, I'm glad you're happy with your eyes!
Wow, at the 35:37 mark I realized you are too focused on how your face looks. I think you need time off looking at the mirror for more than a few seconds. You look great, enjoy it! Chasing youth is unattainable when you are older. Why don't you simply try to look your best at any age without invasive, expensive and risky surgery?
Exactly. Too focussed on every little thing.. crooked nose (?), crapey skin, whatever. She says it's a slippery slope, well, she's definitely going down that slope. And for what. She is so pretty from herself. Gonna be hard for her getting older and older.
May I just say I am in my early fifties. I was checking out at bath and body works yesterday and the young cashier said, you are really beautiful. It was the second time this month a young lady ( most likely in her twenties) has said that to me. Next time I may tell them my age( no Botox or surgery YET) 😂so, that they know getting older is such a great thing. I definitely feel more beautiful in my fifties than I ever did in my thirties. Thank you for sharing your experience Jennifer ❤❤ 💉
My mom has hooded eyes, and I wish I got them. I find them so sexy and beautiful. But I do agree there is hooded and hooded, the puffy one are youthful but if the go down flat is not nice neither I don’t like those eyes that are sucked in the skull.
Are you drawing that dark mole mark on your upper lip? If not I don't get it, with all the face procedures you have had done why you would not have it removed. I can speak from experience that leaving dark large facial moles like yours puts you at a high risk of it becoming cancerous in your 60s or 70s.
Wow is this normal to analyze and know every facial feature a woman has and what happens when you smile or joke or resting or all the things ? I don’t know any of this stuff yet love make up and getting ready everyday just for anything? I am fit and take care of myself but I just never look this deeply into my features …..do most women pay this close attention ? Maybe I need to step up my game 🤷♀️
I didn’t notice most of these things until I started RUclips. Before then the only image I had of myself was through pictures and of course different mirrors in my house. It’s crazy how differently you begin to see yourself when you are able to view yourself through a different lens. I would have never noticed the expressions I make or the mannerisms I have because well, how could I? My point of view is from me looking out. 😁 So no, I would say most women would not notice these things about themselves unless they film themselves regularly. ❤️💋
@@JeniferJenkinsBeauty makes sense to me. I critique myself in pictures people take with me…yet..I don’t notice these things when applying my makeup or my finished look!! Guess I’ll keep moving along in my normal routine of not noticing too much hopefully ! 😂❤️

Omg, what a sweet thing to say! Thank you so much! ❤️🤗💋
I am a new follower. So appreciated this honest discussion❤️
Not true about a consultation fee. I live in a senior living area… A very big one in FL…and all the consultation appointments are free. Very big competitive market.
You look great!
Good point! Thank you for sharing that...makes sense! ❤😘
Breast implants in California for a great plastic surgeon average range between $6,000-$15,000. Prices were you live are far less.
Some people can get it paid via insurance, I will be getting the same thing except upper and lower, you look great babe!
How exciting! I hope you love your results! ❤🤗
Omg, you are absolutely gorgeous. I am turning 50 and I am feeling as I look so old): your eyes look great! Im a new follower and you inspire me. May I ask if you have gotten fillers?
Im considering filler but only if it will look as good as you(: thanks for being open.
Looks absolutely wonderful and remarkably even. Thank you for sharing.
Just had this done four weeks ago. Did you have crazy upper eye tightness whenever you tried to close your lids? I can close my eyes, but it’s a stretch. How long before the tightness went away?
I know what you mean about being most beautiful in our early 30's. I enjoyed that time as well.
Great surgeon, looks beautiful
About the brows they look on screen identical. If I were you I would wait for that surgery.
I noticed that too when I was editing. But some days they look very different. It’s weird. 😂 But it’s actually not very bothersome to me. ❤️🤗
I am going to call your surgeon, lovevyour result!
Thanks for sharing all of your thoughts!
Can you do an updated hair straightening video? 💗
Looks good Jenifer!! Straight up
Thank you! ❤️🤗
very inspiring where is the plastic surgeon located and what is his name
do you have any recommendations on how to find a good plastic surgeon?
My mother in law lives 3 hours away from me, but she had told me that her hair dresser told her that several of his cients had come to my city to have plastic surgery done by my sugeon Dr. Rose....and apparently they loved his results. I viewed his before and after picture gallery and set a consultation. So I would say , look for recommendations and defintely view their before and after gallery. I could tell by his gallery that he was conservative in his approach which is TOTALLY what I was looking for! ❤🤗
You’re so beautiful. I was a little distracted by how you flip your hair back so often. Maybe tie it back when you do videos?
@@cheryljunkin3531that’s a great point. Thank you! ❤️🤗
What ever he did it looks beautiful
You look beautiful as always.... What are your body routine?
Thank you so much! I just eat right and exercise regularly. I have so many videos about my diet and exercise here on my channel. ❤😘
@@JeniferJenkinsBeauty No exfoliant or specific moisturizer as your facial skincare routine?
@@augustaonwusuaka9563she has a recent video out on her favorite products. One of them is Advanced Clinicals Glycolic Serum, a nice exfoliating serum
I didn't notice your scars at all. I'm 49 and few months ago I ate in front of mirror to see what I look like when I eat and my face looks so weird when I chew. lol I wish I would not have known that. Did you do a video on the temple filler? I didn't remember that one.
Jen..ha. You crack me up.. In a good way..girl..wait till you hit 66..haha. I thought I was bad at 50..lol..we are 2 days apart from lids done. Finally.. Can we get a amen..as far as wanting to look the way we feel. I am all for it. Tuck me..stick me.. Lift me lol..I can only do so much myself haha. And yes gurl...you are way.....to hard on yourself. Xxoooo
Typical price: $7500 (NYC/CA) - upper eyelid surgery
Thanks for this video! I have the same issue with my eyes where one drops more than the other. They were always not symmetrical but as I have aged the one that is different has become more obvious. I have thought of doing this but I am so scared about it.
Also btw this came out great you look good, it's definitely improved and at the same time you still look like yourself. Perfect!
You look so much younger now!
Thank you Sarah! ❤🥰
How long for the swelling to completely go down ?!
Does anyone know if she also had a brow lift or endoscopy lift?
you look Absolutely Amazing 🔥❤️🔥🔥
Thank you so much! ❤🥰
you are So Welcome 😊
When I stopped getting Botox, my eyelids stopped dropping like this. 🙏🏼
Have you done anything for your neck ?
No, but I plan to in the future. ❤😘
If look at the first pic before and after, from distance, I don’t see much difference after the surgery.
I can appreciate you sentiment. ❤🤗
I hope to find a wife like you some day, your absolutely beautiful
Geesh, I'm over 20 minutes in so far, and you haven't shown anything...
I explained in the very beginning that if you wanted to see the healing process I would have that video in my description box and pinned to the top of my comment section. I did show plenty of pics in this video though too. ❤️💋
So cheap! Here in Los Angeles I know this doctor who is asking for $12,000 for eyelid surgery
Are you serious?! For just an upper bleph? That's crazy! 😬❤😘
