- The Home Office said 327 migrants arrived in Dover on Sunday.
They were the first arrivals in March and the second highest daily total of the year.
It means 2,582 people have made the crossing so far in 2024, official figures show, with the largest number, 358, arriving on 17 January.
On Sunday, a seven-year-old girl drowned off the French coast when the small boat she was in capsized near Dunkirk.

Migrants are British people that move from Birmingham to Bristol as an example. The people coming across on small boats are IMMIGRANTS and illegal immigrants. It is a massive difference between the two.

Immigration was never about Britain's economic needs. It was always about the economic needs of the immigrants. Virtually all immigration involved and still involves families with medical needs, schooling needs, housing needs, cash hand-out needs. Even today, with work visas, the visa holder is entitled to bring in "dependents", which can include wife and kids, mother and father, grandmother and grandfather, sick uncles and aunts. Immigration has absolutely nothing to do with work, and everything to do with our welfare state.

The NHS needs root and branch reform and should be training its own nurses etc.

Mike...You rang your council and were on hold for 20 minutes?.....You lucky bastard.....I rang my local surgery and an hour and ten minutes later I was still number 4 in the call centre queue....At that point I ran out of patience and went to the surgery in person....It was empty....Not one single solitary patient in the waiting room....
Exactly the same experience I had. Drove to the surgery & there was not one person in the waiting room. I was told they were fully booked until the end of the following week.

I am Convinced our government are more concerned about the state of everything and every body but the people they should be the British public.
I propose that 18 to 25 yr olds should be given the choice of getting a job & working, or two years of National service. Their choice. and if no work or national service then no Benefits.
Most British 18-25 year olds are none too bright or motivated. Those who are will be in uni. The government needs tax revenue. Every migrant filing one of the million or so vacancies in the UK will pay £1790 a year in tax on the minimum wage. 1m X £1790.

@rosielee938 I was discharged from hospital in march 21 after a major surgery, opened up from my sternum to below my navel, was told by my consultant to attend my go for an examination a month after being discharged, I was told I would have to have a phone consultation by the little hitler on reception I asked how I would be examined via a phone call I was told not my problem, she became quite shitty with me but had to apologise when the surgery discovered she didn’t know the difference between a laparoscopy and a laparotomy I have changed gps, new gps just as bad complete shower of shite😡

More than 300 academics ( political scientists) voted Gordon Brown to be the best Chancellor of Exchequer Britain has ever had. Gordon Brown had 13 consecutive quarters of economic growth. Something that has never happened before in Britain.
Look at the state of Britain now after 14 years of austerity, mismanagement, incompetence, negligence, corruption, HS2 chaos, Lizz Truss's disastrous mini budget, millions of pounds wasted on the Rwanda gimmick, sewage in our rivers and coastal waters, unaffordable gas and electricity, and a disastrous Brexit under the vile tories has destroyed Britain.
