I don't understand why every video I see of people jugging use long lines like that. If there's anything in the water at all it's gonna get hung. I've caught thousands of catfish and I never had over a 2 foot line tied on. I don't take a cooler to put them in I take a 55 gal.drum. Night time is best but I've run jugs in the day time in the spring and done very well.
