Yes, time, the work and yarn. But if not for the designer name, these dresses would be in the low hundreds. The prices are essentially paying for the name brand (designer).
Hi Olga Thank you for sharing I really enjoyed hearing that being a crocheter, there is potential to earn money. And those designers have lovely creations. Oh wow, if that is US dollars in Australian dollars I’d be looking at close to $30k! I’m sure it’s worth the price. I look forward to seeing what you make next. Take care and stay safe and well. God bless you all 🙏🏼💗🧶😻🦋
Wow All beautiful dresses, expensive and other things they are designed for tall and thin women. I was made one beach dress for my daughter Natalia only because she is petite size woman😊. She was asking What I am gift want for Mother Day ? I was told her knitting machine because sometimes I am wanted made hats to donated . She was sent me one video of the knitting machine made one long dress 👗. I was answer her . She will bought the knitting machine only because she want the dress 😂❤😊
Hi Georgina! That's a very good point that these dresses are made for tall and thin women. High end designers market their work to very rich people, who have personal trainers, personal chefs, personal nutritionists, personal everything... so they can maintain their "perfect" bodies. Most of these dresses don't even come in plus sizes. But good things for us, "regular" folks, is that we can still get inspiration from them, and then create/crochet garments that would fit our own body types and shapes. Oh that's so funny that Natalia wants to get your a knitting machine because she wants you to make her a dress. Knitting machine is something I've been thinking about too because I really want to start making more of my own clothes. Happy Mother's Day! 🌷🤗
Wow, beautiful dresses! Well, i didnt care for the last one. I thought as you did...must be heavy and it also looked clumpy under the arm area. I think the yarn is too thick. Can't wait to see your new top. I just know it will be beautiful. Happy Mothers Day Olga!💞 🥂
Would you please advise on how to choose the right yarn types for dresses, I would love to make a dress either from light weight cotton or bamboo or a blend of natural fibres, but not quite sure which would be best to make the dress lightest, I don't want it to be too heavy.
I prefer to use cotton, but bamboo can be a good choice too. I'd say make a small sample and see what the fabric looks like, how it drapes, and how heavy it feels. I see people on RUclips making dresses with acrylic and personally I think that's a terrible idea.
Gorgeous dresses, but WOW! Expensive… but the time and work involved, oh my.

Looking forward to seeing your finished top AND the dress you make.
I like the third dress the best.
Hi Olga 🤗 I really enjoyed listening to you describe each dress! It amazes me how much crocheted designer dresses cost! 🥰🧶🤩

Thank you 🙂
Beautiful dresses!!!❤️
Hi Olga....very pretty.
So gorgeous I wish you taught US how to make it
That's exactly why I'm posting my videos about my projects, I really try to share whatever knowledge and maybe inspire others too.

Love the dresses so much. I can easily see them costing 1000 to 3000 but that last one looks like berber carpet. Just my opinion
