Some Quick Correction ... - The Type 3 is only splash resistant.... (so not 30ATM) It's the Type-5 you can actually take diving - The Type 3 EE was introduced at Geneva Watch days and not Watches & Wonders
I really like these watches. I saw one in person at a Worn & Wound Wind-Up in San Francisco back in 2018, if I'm not mistaken. The visual presence and effect is unmatched and must be seen in person to fully understand and appreciate how cool the watch looks and operates. I'd love to save up and get one some day.
Absolutely the kind of watch you need to experience. I handled them in a store in Stockholm for the first time. But because the hq is just 40m from my place I guess I found a direct line now to feed the addiction and share the love for these
I'm a huge fan of Ressence, it's on my grail list (the quite possible, maybe one day list). Although I prefer the black for it's more badass look, this color is superb. Excellent video Tom, thanks for sharing.
Good question! no idea why 180s tbh ... but its the only indicator where you see that the watch is actually running :) But in case of severe latteral shocks the magnets could get misaligned .. and you will see this disc wiggle about... there is a way to manually fix that if that would happen tho. In the type 5 that runner has some extra shock absorbing system too.
Very differnt design and unic design, nice watch, look a little to conect warch, its a little problem for me if i buy a 30000$ watch...but perfect watch for a millionaire collector

Bloody brilliant. It's a stunner and your footage makes it justice. Excellent job as usual, Tom!
Thx M. 🙏🤜
Another great one! I always enjoy it when there are different and not so mainstream watches featured
Thanks. I hope I can bring more brands like this.

This watch made me aware of what an amazing color eucalyptus is. 🙂
Koalas agree
Utterly sensational. I’m really coming around to the look of these through your beautiful images Tom, so so good 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Appreciate the kind words ! Go crush that friday now ...
Fantastic review, Tom! Such a cool watch with a mind-blowing amount of tech/engineering behind it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yep first time I've heard any detail. Fascinating engineering. Really interesting. Thanks 👏👏
Thx for watching ! Glad it was useful
I love Ressence and Type 3 represents the philosophy completely!
yip this one has all their fun bits.. type 5 has some more crazy features
This watch is definatly a grail watch for me. Its so cool and different. In a sea of Rolex watches Ressence is darn special.

Thx for watching. First time I saw the Black i assumed black “oil” oil 😅
@@BowlOfSalmon totally natural. So freaking cool.
Interesting and totally alien at the same time
The truth is out there. ( x files quoted in case you are not from that generation)
Graat shots Tom, top quality 🤩
Thanks a lot ! Really appreciate your kind words.
This and the type 8 are my favorites!
I'm working up the ladder I guess :)
Very good video. Thank you.
Glad you liked it! Thx for watching
amazing watch, and really cool review. Question though: what is the idea behind the small 180 second subregister?

Like the concept of have Oil filled, look like it dont need to service and reoil at all!…😮
ah but that is not the oil that would be used to lube the movevement

Welcome aboard!
Just discovered this Belgian brand. Gorgeous looking watch. But the price tag though…
Welcome to independent watchmaking
Yeah so this is basically Alien Tech. 😅
No that was my voice in ffwd 😂
Watching this at 1.5x speed, it became more fun when you started (fast...) physics....
its okay.. I usually consume content at 2x speed too ;)
@@BowlOfSalmonWhile speed was increasing i was like "Nice, now it goes on it's own!" 😏

under the radar luxury. thx for watching
I mean… it’s super interesting. But $43,000 interesting?! Yikes!
It's about the target audience and brand positioning too
Love these watches and the company but sadly put them into Lotto Win territory.
Any excuse to win the lotto is a good one
@@BowlOfSalmonMost definitely!
