Team jellyfish. Good lesson. I'm old fashioned. I much prefer the acoustic lessons. I realize I'm probably in the minority, but the sound is just cleaner to my ears.

Just stick with it one day at a time. Check out the music theory Monday playlist I have on this channel and I think it’ll help you out a ton. I just went around the entire cord wheel and covered all 12 keys and now we’re going to brunch out and really start having fun.

Is the chord Gadd9? I'm just guessing as my jazz teacher is trying to pound these chords into my head without a lot of success.

I don't know the name of that chord, but it sure sounds like the "James Bond" chord to me... Or close to it.
It’s an E minor add nine and it definitely has the James Bond quality to it. Those soundtracks were some of the coolest guitar parts ever.
