I don't know if I liked music more or the model more? Had my head nodding to the music and enjoying your building skills...WOW! Loads of helpful tips....Thank You very much.😸
Hi Mark, thevextra work you have put into the Tiger is truly outstanding, even makingbthe side brackets out of the etched runners, looking forward to the painting and weathering video, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Superb job on this. Thank you for sharing the build and your detailing. I will steal the masking fluid tip for my wheels. It's a great base for the painting & weathering to come. Good luck on your build, can't wait to see some paint going on. Regards Steve.
Thanks Steve, and I really appreciate all the support I get to continue providing entertaining and informative videos here. Thank you very much 🫡 If you use the masking fluid make sure you leave to set overnight 👍
Just subscribed and hit that old bell 🤪🤪🤪 What an astonishing build 🤓🤓🤓I particularly liked the Zimmerit bit as I’m about to do 217 myself for a group build I’m in. So I found a lot of interesting points of your build. Your a very gifted modeller in my humble opinion and I look forward to catching up on more of your builds 😎😎😎 all the best to you, Kenny 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks very much! Glad to have you on-board. When you do your Zim dont make the same mistake I made on the hull sides. The Zim would actually have covered the whole side and not stop at the fender. Good luck with your build 🫡
You really have built a very nice Tiger. The zimmerit turned out nicely, but it goes all the way down the sides and you swapped left and right on the exhaust covers. but hey, it's still a great tiger
Hi Thomas, Thanks.. you are right, I was sure I had seen a photo of a Tiger without fenders and noted that the Zim stopped at the fender line but I must have been mistaken. I should have re-checked that detail 🙄 Oh well, I cant change it I'll just have tom press on.
Looks amazing Mark.I have always thought of recreating a real life legend like Wittman or Carius, but I have never gotten around to doing so,and as I right now am not planning on picking up extra kits (maybe one or two for Christmas though :) , I guess this idea will have to wait, but if you have any idea of an armour kit that I should get, then please respond with one. Can’t wait to see it painted and weathered.Have fun with that ;)
Thanks Kacper. I can tell you which 1 to get. You should get Dragons 'Whittmann's Last Tiger' I have in the box and the Zimmerit is really really good on it. Also Cyberhobby have it as a free postage kit so you can order just the 1 kit and they will post it free. Through them the kit is only £45 and as this is a China Limited version it comes with full crew and all the extras you expect from them. Check out the link... www.cyber-hobby.com/collections/dragon-free-shipping-items/products/1-35-wittmanns-last-tiger-tiger-i-late-production-2-in-1 Don't wait till Xmas though 🤣
Thank you 👍Yes unfortunately the kit only provides one turret with moulded Zim. I felt that trying to remove it would have been a difficult job to do well, so I stuck with the Zim that was already there. I think it would have been a better look if I did that myself, but in a way there are limits to what I am able achieve from a box of parts. Thanks for watching.
Very nice work on the zimmerit! What did you find easier to work with?, the Milliput or Tamiya epoxy putty? I'm in the paint/weathering stages of the Dragon Tiger I initial production '3 in 1' kit. I like it, and am learning to master the challenge of managing the mass of roadwheels. Purchased the Friulmodel track links for my kit, they work great and are so easy to assemble. How many links per side did you need to complete a set? I counted the links in the directions and came up with 75 per side. Don't know if that will be enough, doesn't look like it. Anyway, looking forward to the painting stage.
Thanks Jim. I am more at home using Milliput as I have always used it before when I want to recreate Zim. The Tamiya was an experiment for me as I had seen others use it and wanted to see for myself. It may just be that I know milliput better and know how use water and rolling tools with it. The Tiger does have an array of wheels that are hard to keep track of 🤣 you may need a few more than 75 tracks the kit tracks say 94 and i was 3 short each side which might have been down to me and the way I push the tracks together when gluing. I would be interested to see how yours turns out. 🫡
@afv-studio I will keep you posted. If mine indeed needs 94 per side, I don't know if I have enough to cover both sides because they are the "mirrored" type. I'm going to do a count of mine right now. I 'll let you know

Thanks for mentioning the music music Bas. Always good to hear feedback on that side of things. Glad you enjoyed it. 🫡
Very good assembly! Waiting for painting! Thank you!
Thanks, painting has started 🫡
Great!

Thanks Les. Always keep those runners and never need to cut thin strips of brass. Thanks for watching and your comments are always welcome 🫡
Just amazing. Your skills are so professional mate.
Thank you glad you enjoyed it
Top work Mark......love the hack for fixing the side skirts 👍
Thanks Ian... They are holding up well 🫡

Glad you found it useful Trevor

Now THAT was a pleasure to watch, Sir.
Thanks for watching Adam.

Qestion: what are you using for your cutting circle mat for the etched brass? Great build.
Thanks...Its an empty case from a camera lens filter.
The turret had zim molded and not your hull? Nice build mate 👌

awesome video! whats the first song's name?! very nice and chill!
Thanks and the song is 'Shambles' by Jones Meadow. 🫡
@@afv-studio epidemic sounds has a very good library, seems like you found some real gems! (the other songs are also awesome!)
@@dabootvv This was like a top 10 from my previous builds. Next time I will have to spend some time searching out new music to add.

do you paint these?
Yes I paint all these. You can find all the build and paint videos on my channel page.
Великолепно!!!
Thanks 🫡
Goddamn Mark! This is fucking awesome. Having just finished a similar tiger, I am gonna say I wish I waited a week
Thanks v much. You should come and show it on my patreon and get some feedback from myself and others there 🫡
You kiss you mother with that mouth ? The LORD knows everything we say or think, do not talk yourself into the Holy fire to come.
Oh I think I know what you mean? You mean the Air Filters for the engine that were mounted outside on the rear on the early Tiger. 🤔
16:18 I utterly hate those your better off using 3d printed ones
Yeah they are missing the guide horn detail ☹️
