Hello mr.d!very nice job done.the kit seems almost as a full interiour kit with his amount of detail.i truly appreciate your efforts thank u4 delivering fun and Inspiration.its nice 2cu unleashing your creative flows.i am looking forward2ur future builds.i also like your comment.of course you deserve a thumb up.and thats no lickspitteling.with best regards and sticky greetings from Brandenburg germany.faithfully yours.your modellmate.christian
Great video, I am in the middle of building one of the other once, and have had the same issues :-), missing instruction on the grill and the also had to cut the fuel tank top away. Nice to see that I am not the only one with the issues. Great watching, keep it up.
Thank you! It really is a shame that a recently released kit like that has such big errors. That probably means that all other Tigers based on this tool have the same issues as well. I hope the rest goes smoothly for you and enjoy building!
As this builder states, one of the periscopes in the commander's cupola should point straight ahead. It's a very simple fix to clip off the locater tab and install properly. I only repeat this because it's only an issue with the Early and Mid, the Late does not have this problem. One other mention, is that the radiators and cooling fans should be attached to the underside of the upper deck instead of going into the lower hull. It's very difficult to get them in at the right angle so the upper deck sits down all the way. If you attach them to the upper deck instead, the alignment sorts itself out better.
The armoured covers on the exhaust are in the video upside down. When you put the shroud over them the will not fit. The lifting pegs should be lower. When you turn them around it will be ok. Intresting and great video.
This is incorrect. The lifting pegs are actually on the higher side. Even Tiger 131 has them up higher. The way DSM has them on in his video is correct. Maybe there is an issue with the kit's fitment? But every picture I've seen of a Tiger 1 or 2 that has the pegs has them on the top half not lower.
At 20:25 you tell us to keep the two small notches at the sides. Why is that? On the real tank, that is a locking ring, so it can be tightened up to any angle you like. Does the kit require the notches to be in a specific place?
You seem to know more about Tigers then me. Every model kit i saw had the two notches at the side so i just assumed thats how the barrel had to be oriented. But i guess it can be in any rotarion then, so thank you for the heads up :)
Excellent! I'm sure at the end of the war, no one was thinking that we would all be making plastic models of the panzers.
Thank you! Yes, and it is not just the tanks but even some actual people like Otto Carius or Michael Wittman. Pretty crazy to think about it.
This guy definitely deserves more subscribers. This channel is awesome!
Thanks for the support. I am happy you enjoy my videos!

Thank you Christian! The turret has almost full interior of the parts that could be seen from outside

Great job, gonna look great painted and weathered.
Thank you! Currently doing the weathering. Can't wait to see it finished
Really nice man. Im gonna be doing one of these shortly
Have fun! Just watch out for the commander's cupola, the instructions have a wrong rotation at that step
Your explanation was very well done!👍
Thank you!

I agree. The step with the radiators was a really weird choice from takom. I heard other people had similar problems with that step.
Very clean build! Thanks for the, things to watch out for,.
Thanks!
Bro is using Night Shift music, but that's not a problem! Nice build man. Keep it up!
Thank you! I know Quincas Moreira just makes really chill BGM
Just found your channel. Top vid/build. Great explanation of the track build part. Is the track jig you use commercially available?
Thank you so much. The big jig is from the online store fantasywelt. But im sure you can find it at different places too

Good eyes! I already noticed the error during construction and flipped them, but forgot to show it. But thanks regardless for the info and feedback.

Almost looks like they used cyberhobbys moulds
I would not be surprised if manufactures look at competitors for some "inspiration" on their own toolings ;)
Hai...1 question...can put mg34 on cupola ?...
Yes there is a MG34 for the cupola. I just kept it separate for easier painting
@@dreamzzscalemodelling oh good..i just order this takom tiger otto carius..cant wait to build !..surely i will watch your video for reference
@muhdnadzim7850 It is a lot of fun and a nice kit. Just watch out with air intakes blocking the hull later
@@dreamzzscalemodelling so...u remove the air intake ?
Yes i had to remove the top most part of the air intakes inside the hull
Your tank DOES look awesome. GREAT JOB !
Thank you!
Turret commader's visors are wrong way around. One should be pointing straight forward.
Yes. Like i said its a design error by Takom that I would have fixed if i knew earlier.
