I've just bought a mk2 tt today for £1300...... needs some love for sure but definitely a steal! Exactly the dame model. 2.0 tfsi..... you just got yourself a subscriber! 👌🏽😏
Just bought a 3.2v6 MK2 TT with dsg transmission. Have subscribed to your channel for information on everything on these brilliant cars. Different engine and gearbox but handy video tutorials for everything else. Got mine for a great price too £2200, few small issues, door lock actuators and bonnet release handle. Radio amp is blowing its fuse and will need a proper service. Changed the oil as it was black as crude oil. 😁👍
New subscriber, great vid, I had a mk2 56 plate 2 years ago and loved it, I'm looking for another one now, I'm looking forward to see what you do to yours.
Hi mate, great vid, similar to myself I brought the cheapest locally to me back in October last year with less miles than yours but still double what you paid so fair play. I brought mine to leave at the train station rather than my M140i for work. But will be honest yeah its not as quick but its been driven more often and can leave it anywhere without the worry. I have had to change the cam belt, water pump for piece of mind, the thermostat (really common) and a oil change so far. Enjoy the car mate!
I got one off my brother in law last year for only £600. 17 plate and has only covered 28,000 miles. Got it cheap since it needed 2 new front tyres and one on the wipers wasn't very good.
Brilliant David, loved your video, which is why I lied and gave you a Sub to the Channel😀Yes there are afew issues, but I'm looking forward to following your journey with the car, Because, The Mk2 Audi TT is going to be My next Car, so I will be following your Channel closely!! Good Luck mate👍
Thanks for the like and sub!👌🏻 I really appreciate the support. Good luck for when you get yours, they're fun little cars and even with the issues, I'm made up with mine!
Bc racing coilovers with spring cover protection bags (stops coils seizing from road grime salt and all the good shit on the roads of the uk splashing up on our new 3 way adjustment coilovers of goodness.
Thanks for the support! This is a hobby for me but i'd love to do it full time one day! The GTO I bought to fix and keep and the TT I bought as a fun daily I can work on and make content on. I'll be buying, fixing and modifying more cars on the channel and when they're finished, Ill sell them to fund the next project or if I have a big enough following, id like to raffle them off to give the subscribers a chance to win one of the builds!👌🏻
Give the dsg a service, get that sump off the engine and change that oil pick up pipe, change the cam lobe. And one think that made me smile when you said about doing the cam belt yeah it could look alright, previous owners saying nah it’s not due yet. Noooooo until I see a stamp genuinely from a reputable garage listing what was changed along with price invoices. I’ve gone as far to even call garages and ask if they can have a quick look to see what work was don’t or not done just so I can work out what’s legit no worrry and what’s lies I’m going to have to re fix, renew, upgrade or tidy to a better standard. Don’t care if your my best friend and you says it’s been serviced. Until I see paperwork/ parts invoices (which in hind sight if I didn’t see them Before they ask their price) my price will have already been altered in knowing this fact. No invoice, no service stamp, no labour invoices. Service sheets, then no trust. I buy knowing it’s getting full love and a big bit of cash and parts refreshed.
😂 there seems to be many mk 2 tts on here for under 900 hmm but the cheapest on ebay is double that why would they not just sell on ebay and get full amount 😂 ive just sold a 188 thousand mile deathtrap for 1600 and i was honest advertised as dangerous cant quite work it out 😂
That is true, but my car is on 129,000 miles and I’m going to dig into it to investigate a coolant leak, so while the system is empty, I’m going to replace the water pump and thermostat and while the water pump is off, I might as well change the timing belt. That’s just my train of thought😂

Thanks mate! They're not the quickest of cars, definitely not compared to the M140i😅,but they're still a fun little daily. Goodluck with the car!
Hi mate how much was it to change the cambelt?
Even with all that stuff that needs fixing I'm surprised you got it for that cheap.

Yeah, I quickly realised after posting that that was the case...😅 but thank you! They are fun little cars to be fair to them👌🏻

New subscriber here, do you buy cars to do up and sell as a hobby or do you buy to keep? Fab car by the way.

Audi HO recommend timing belt change every 140,000 miles. No years age just mileage, based on next new generation materials lasting.
