Peter, you can speak on this: Do you feel like Ravenclaws often get the short end of the stick (or wand) when it comes to merchandise? I can't put my finger on exactly why, but the Ravenclaw stuff always feels a little...less special?
I think both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff aren’t recognized as much as they should be but yes, especially Ravenclaw. Merch-wise, it goes Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw last. 🙁
I just wish they'd offer all the wand collections in the 'Olivander Box' as they look best stacked on the shelf if you can't display wands individually and they'd look more aesthetically together. These are to 'modern' in comparison and I don't think they compliment each other...

I have a wand no one has in this world. I am the only one who managed to wield the wand.. not even voldomort himself could wield the wand I have. It was too powerful. The cock shaft wand.
The mascot or the diadem because I think the Ravenclaw mascot wand was the most beautiful out of the four mascots and as a Hufflepuff the Hufflepuff mascot wand was the worst.
@@ashcatchum Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with the basic carving of the wand, in fact I think that detail is pretty but I'm not a fan of basic wood, even in my furniture I find basic wood grain boring and would rather it be painted some other color and the yellow is so dull on the wand that it just looks like a yellow wood grain to me so naturally I find it boring. Lol Also, I think they missed a great opportunity to paint the 'bark' aspect of the wand black because it would line up perfectly with the real badger's markings and leaving the yellow color on the 'exposed wood' carving part would give a lovely contrast to the wand. In comparison, Not only do I think the raven looking like it is diving mid flight look amazing but the blue is a gorgeous vibrant shade as well.
I swear that for a moment the orange handle of the Slytherin locket wand looked like a plastic medicine syringe and the runes looked like measurement markers 🤣

My favourite wand in them is Godric Gryffindor's relic wand (and not just because I am a Gryffindor) but it looks very simple yet regal. I can imagine Godric Gryffindor having this wand. And also they made it according to the description given in the book and not the movie.🤩🤩🤩
i think the wands i liked best of this lot were the Hogwarts architechture, the Thestral, and the Gryffindor Sword. That dark arts one was really cool too.
Strangely enough, the Ravenclaw Diadem is my fav :) It looks regal and mysterious. But you're quite right, the darker tone of silver would probably be better. Again, as somebody pointed out here, this shade may stand for purity of/mind/wisdom.
Love this video! Our son is Slytherin and my house being and I are both Ravenclaw so we have both relic wands and Thestrals are my favorite magical creatures so we also have that wand. I love the Ironbelly dragon so that might be a goal someday. 💙🦅💚🐍 Thanks for this critique!
The Hogwarts Architecture Wand fits perfectly to me. First of all, I am still finding out if I am Slytherin or Ravenclaw so it's perfectly neutral and not associated with a house. BUT additionaly, I absolutely love gothic architecture and want to become an architect someday. It's a perfect match

With that in mind, though, I would purchase some of these as collectible art. Since there are 4 houses in Hogwarts…I would pick my four favorites which are: 1. The Thestral-I feel about this wand the way you feel about the phoenix-it’s such a distinctive piece of lore in the HP universe. 2. Slytherin Relic-The details make this a simple, yet stunning piece! (Plus…I was sorted into Slytherin, so I’m slightly biased) 3. Gryffindor Mascot-I actually love the design, despite this being my least favorite house 4. Hufflepuff Relic-Like you stated, this piece deserves fanfare…very regal and eye-catching.
The hufflepuff mascot wand was yes a badger the part you thought was the badger bursting out of the tree was actually the wight markings on a badger if you don’t understand look at a Picture of a badger

I have never been a fan of the bulkier wands like the animals, the snitch, and the bow truckle because it feels inauthentic to the movies (because nobody had a bulky wand in the movies), but im very glad they added ones like the architects wand and the sword of Gryffindor for those who prefer a more modest and slim wand.
My favorite wands are the Golden Snitch and the Iron Belly. The Iron Belly being my must-have because it is a true representation of the state she was in when the golden trio freed her. I love the sculptor captured her twisted move from captivity to freedom,

those founder item wands are beautiful definitely will be adding them to my wand collection at some point. I am not a Slytherin but the locket wand is my favorite of the ones shown in this video.

For the hufflepuff cup wand, the “dragon egg” is actually a thistle for Scotland, where Helga Hufflepuff is from.

The Thestral is a gorgeous piece, as is the Dark Arts Deatheater, Hogwarts, and Phoenix. Honestly, all of the wands shown are extremely impressive.

those founder item wands are beautiful definitely will be adding them to my wand collection at some point. I am not a Slytherin but the locket wand is my favorite of the ones shown in this video.
Is it just me that doesn’t like these wands (not in terms of how nice they look because they are beautiful pieces) but I like wands that individuals would have and I feel realistically who in the WW would have mascot wands or one with a Golden Snitch

The Dark Arts and Architect wands are my favorites. As a Ravenclaw, that Diadem wand was sadly such a huge disappointment. I agree with you there.
