There are not enough words to describe how Fawkes mourns the death of Dumbledore. An incredible creature with special abilities and an incredible pin with all those details!!!

Quick note from a local that went to the store a few days after the opening: - the store exclusive shirts are so soft, I highly recommend getting one (I got the dragon clock one) - when I went, the virtual line text alert never got sent, so you might have to hang around closer and longer around the store in order to be let in. - the butterbeer bar plastic mugs were all sold out by the time I got in, so butterbeer was being served in smaller disposable plastic cups. They didn’t charge full price though, so that was nice.
“It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.” -Dumbledore. I like to think of this quote and ponder Fawkes’ connection to Dumbledore. Fawkes gave him light, which is why he cherished him so much. I would love this pin.

At first, I got Gryffindor and was psyched because Hermione, of course was a favorite character of mine until Luna Lovegood entered my life. Anyways, i eventually got Hufflepuff. When I did more research on the house, i was like, why did I get Gryffindor. I never fit their traits and I chose Hufflepuff instead. If you resonate with one house more than the other, choose that one. We are all a mix of every house, but I am proud of being a Hufflepuff. Just pick what you feel comfortable with as well as makes you happy.
My sister and I just started reading the Harry Potter books for the first time ever (we watched the movies when they came out) and we can’t believe we waited so long!! I’m always so confused when official ravenclaw merch doesn’t go with the eagle. Yes it’s not as intuitive as a raven for ravenclaw but the official merch straying from the actual books is really weird to me. It’s like they’re trying to make the raven the new norm but the people buying the merch are the ones who know it shouldn’t be a raven. I would be so frustrated if I was a ravenclaw!!

It’s like they’re trying to make the raven the new norm but the people buying the merch are the ones who know it shouldn’t be a raven. I would be so frustrated if I was a ravenclaw!!

The names escapes me. The Fawkes Enamel pin looks like a “Pokémon.” Anybody know the name of the Pokémon?
My guess is the Pokémon: Ho-Oh
If you don’t believe me, look it up. They’re both spot on or identical to one another/definitely have some similarities.
It reminds me of Moltres! The fire, legendary bird!
