Yes agreed and that squared them to the deck. If I'm thinking of the same thing your referring to I ment along the length one stop to the next there not in line to each other and I had a hard time even with the play in the bolts to get them all lined up together. Not that it's critical since I'm only using 2 at once anyways.

You’re supposed to put 2 screws in behind the log stops to true them up.
