    Thank God am I sociopathic enough not to care about such a silly non-issue.
    Even if I don't intend to use any of these techniques, I better know them so that I don't fall for them. Besides, I rather be the one using them unethically than being the victim.

    • @edi9892
      @edi9892 6 лет назад +2

      The sad truth is that it's most of the time first heartbroken then heartbreaker. No matter, if you got sociopathic, abusive, addicted, depressed or narcissistic parents, the chances are high, that you grow up to be messed up yourself and pass it on, like a curse to future generations...
      I don't say, that you become what your parents are, but something from the same catalogue.

      In that case then everything we do is a manipulation.
      You're being manipulated to write this comment, you're being manipulated to install youtube on your phone or open it on ur laptop or pcs.
      That's ridiculous, we do still have choice. It'd be considered a manipulation if you feel like you had no choice but to do what you're requested.
      Not everyone are going after you, remember that.

      I believe it proves his consistency. He knows his craft. It's also used in an ethical way: it makes you want to learn about manipulation so you can be better prepared for it (as he suggests). Ideally, you should now be immune to "cutsie baking music in the background" from now on.
      But if you still believe it is unethical for some reason, you can always report it as spam (closest thing to clickbait I could find).

Controlling others when have poor self control will be immediately exposed, also only those who have no control on themselves seem to want to control others in order to get the results they want - when the fact that you can get what you exactly want by planning, investing in your personal development and controlling oneself. The World must follow this path instead of following the path of controlling others.

    Consistency is probably the most powerful of these 7 tricks. The worst example that keeps recurring and I've seen it once (in a variation):
    A gets into trouble and B comes along and consoles A and offers his help.
    B promises to return the favor, if the chance ever arises.
    B shortly afterwards comes along and asks exactly for that, however, his request is unethical.
    A refuses, but B shows him how accepting his help was already unethical and that he can get into trouble for it, but obviously B would not tell anyone.
    Begrudgingly A accepts and does the petty offense.
    B comes back and asks again for a favor, but this time he'd pay for it.
    A refuses but is reminded by B that he has done two immoral acts and is involved too deep to pull out anymore.
    B keeps asking for more and more, slowly gnawing away from every moral value A ever had until A becomes a full fledged traitor.
    Note: abusive relationships are typically similar!

    To anyone ever trying to manipulate a girl...
    Start by observing her reactions to different things, watch her closely.
    Then start getting rude to her, make her feel that of her insecurities make let experience fear from anyone then do the opposite make pact with her that if u help her and protect her then she has to listen to you and get the tasks done for you in this way, but never give her too much attention, make her feel that she can be replaced anytime after this thus after many days or weeks you have a loyal and lifelong friend who won't betray you easily. I love how he manipulates us into thinking manipulation we'd previously thought of as unethical is actually manipulation that can be called 'ethical manipulation! Very manipulative of him!

  • @RickJaeger
    @RickJaeger 2 года назад +1

    There is no ethical way to "manipulate." Manipulation is inherently unethical, because the attitude of manipulating human beings takes the view that your fellow persons are tools or objects to be manipulated, manhandled, to achieve your own goals.
    You can certainly use tactics of persuasion, argument, praise, blame, etc. But the easiest way to tell the difference between merely making yourself more convincing, and attempting evil via "manipulation" tactis, is whether or not the person you are trying to convince or encourage would be outraged or hurt if they knew exactly what you were attempting to do.
    For example, it's not manipulating anyone to pay them in exchange for work. Nobody would say, "Hey wait a minute... you're not giving me money purely out of the goodness of your heart. You're actually paying me just because you want work done and you think I will do it for you in exchange for money!!! What the hell?!?" That would be ridiculous. You are still _changing someone's behavior by purposeful action,_ but there's no trickery or malice therein ipso facto.
    P.S. This is only tangentially related to the video, and I'm not directly commenting on its content.

      Know something and know hot to use that something are two different things, some of the knowledge to use a simple thing as "redirect" for exemple, would require a lot of other types of knowledge. Anyone using something they're not used to it will look fake and nobody would buy it... and to use any of those things would require years of pratice, and even the most experienced "player" can lose the game, if you need to think any of those things during a conversation, you already lost your touch, in any conversation you have to feel confortable and talk as you usually does, but when you try to impersonate something or someone, you'll drop the ball eventually. So this kind of thought only works to protect yourself if you can't use it, or to improve an already "master of manipulation", it's like a video of a coach teaching the best things about the best player in the world, the only people who would benefit from it are those who already are good at the game, and if they play their cards right, someday they can be as good as that player was (doesn't mean they'll achieve the same level of success).
      People usually get afraid when those sociopathic behaviors are teached, but don't realise that just a small portion of people can actually use it and be like that... So if you know you can't use it and your ethics are strong enough to put you in fear of those traits, just step away from trying to be like that, and instead try to lean that to protect yourself and to identify those people and get away from them.
