Traded my old hilux 2010 sr5 and got the rugged a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love it.
I have a Hilux Rogue 2018 just got to put 2" lift best 4x4 ever
The bull bar on the rugged x looks pretty good.
Awesome Ute , had many as a tradesman never let me down in reliability or resale.
Don't waste your money on factory built specials. Buy a base model and put the money you save into mods that you need and are actually useful.
I’d like a rogue wth the rugged x gear added
I already have ordered a Rogue, when i pick it up it's off to ARB.
galacticforce1 is the wait time big?
Mark Irvine I have been told last two weeks of July to the first two weeks fo August. A bit of a wait. Other dealers told me October, I hope my dealer is right.
galacticforce1 What are you getting at ARB for the Rogue?
BP-51 SUSPENSION AND RADIO UHF, SIDE STEPS, AND UNDERGUARDS, LONG RANGE TANK,FRONT DIFF LOCK. TO START WITH.
Is the rogue good?
I’m buying a rugged x soon
the rugged x is quite decent I think
Check out the hilux conquest here at the philippines
A V8 and bigger tyres would add a world of difference
I have been saying the hilux from Toyota need a much bigger engine in that model vehicles a,V6 gasoline 4;0 both manual and automatic, & a 4.0 diesels 4 cylinders, (N04C-VJ, too get customers and consumers to shop for great horsepower and both manual and automatic transmissions or peoples will either chosen Mazda BT50/,Ford Ranger/ or ,Nissan new 3.5 V6 diesels engines in the navara ,or Nissan NP 300 ( Mercedes Benz pickup with 3.5 V6 diesels engines.
I will buy the rogue
Ford Ranger for me...looking for punchline with Hilux well sadly there wasn't one.
The rogue looks like a koala
Calvin Chang lovey
Calvin Chang you look like a flirb.
Does the SR and the rest of them have a LSD?
No Limited Slip Differential on any Hilux. They all use open differentials front and back but have a locker in the back on 2wd and 4wd hi rider models
Nice job Matt,
Toyota owns the beige lipstick market
No CarPlay. No deal. (But then I’d add no increase in kw/nm also no deal)
kodiak7 totally agree.
I prefer the srv model
Hilux the best
Hilux is soon to become endangered species lol might never , other brands are picking up sales like ford ranger
There is no 'whata feeling' here.
Toyota needs to bring in there Tacoma or tundra to Aus market! The Hilux is no longer exciting or keeping up with the times. This is just some added junk you can buy from an EBAY STORE,ARB,TJM,GMF etc. the design of that bar with the fog lights is yuck! The engine is underwhelming, factory rear Leafs aren’t exciting! They have nothing to offer that every other manufacturer can do better!
Yeah, no thanks we don't need a massive petrol guzzling American ute.
The interior lol lol
Same pathetic stereo head unit, ugly looking sports bars, same boring engine.
3 failed heroes
Hilux's aren't designed for your average city goer, no matter what toyota says, they're built for offroad/ rural livers and do they care for what you call an ugly bumper, pathetic stereo and engine. No, because it does everything they want simpler and more efficient over something expensive like the Amarok. They're like the Jeep Wrangler, built simple but tough and are used for what their designed for.
Rugged x for that price u get peanuts. The info system is embarrassing. Toyota know how to over price ppl for peanuts
