Wade and his mother also stated before, that wade didnt tell his mother about the abusive stuff ever up until 2013, which is 4 years after jackson died so how did wades mother had a dance? you should just read a bit more instead of just blatantly believing in a "docu" in which only 1 party says anything, and the whole thing is way more emotional than factual.

Yes, he was a very complex man, especially considering his level of fame, but he wasn’t living on a deserted island with no access to the world and how it functions. I believe he was calculated and played the innocent role exceptionally well. What the 2 men have described in Leaving Neverland is grooming 101. The point they make about Macauley Culkin is so true and one I've thought of a lot.
I 100% believe the accusers in the documentary regardless. But one thing the non-believers say which irritates me is 'he didn't abuse Macauley Culkin' and what's your point? Jack the Ripper didn't kill every women he spent time with, he chose victims. I know the comparison of Jack the Ripper and MJ may be strong but it's that sort of thing. Imagine how insulting and hurtful it would be to be an abuse victim and just have someone say to you ‘well he didn’t abuse me so you must be lying’.
MJ was smart and I do genuinely think he befriended Culkin and intentionally didn't pursue any sexual abuse with him so he could have the cover of 'well ask Macauley Culkin.'
Guys MJ was a phenomenal performer and musician. But don't let that blind you from his darkness.

I enjoyed the H3 Podcast discussion of the documentary, but I've got to say this was on another level. Great discussion lads.
The only area which I think was overlooked was how public awareness of pedophilia has changed in recent years. As a thirty something man I can remember that the public discourse surrounding pedophilia in the 1980s and 1990s was pretty much limited to telling kids, "Don't talk to strangers." It's only post Garry Glitter and Jimmy Saville that discussion of pedophiles who are in the public eye has become much more prevalent as has their prosecution in criminal courts. Pre Saville there was almost a denial that these things could take place, and I think the parents, dazzled as they were by Jackson, reflected this attitude of denial which was commonplace until only 15-20 years ago.

This is a hard one, because I watched an interview with Corey Feldman who we all know has suffered major abuse from a very young age, and he was literally coming out and calling out all the abusers but at the time he wasn’t mentioning names. But when the interviewer brought up Michael Jackson, Corey went on to say that he himself stayed at neverland many times and that Michael was never inappropriate with him, he said Michael was really nice to him and treated him very kindly. He also said that he never witnessed Michael being inappropriate with any of the other children that were staying there. So it’s a hard one because on one hand you have a man who looks extremely guilty, but on the other hand you have a man who is a victim of abuse saying that Michael Jackson treated him and everyone around him with nothing but kindness. When the whole Michael Jackson allegations were rolling in, it was the media who gave us the information and as we’ve learned in recent years that the media do lie a lot and they are very powerful when it comes to pushing a narrative out to the public. If Michael Jackson was guilty of these things then that would make him one of the worlds worst but there is just this niggle of doubt 😑

He’s innocent. I’m not even a fan of Michael Jackson, but as as sexual assault survivor myself, I know he is 100% innocent.
There is no way that Robson and Safechuck are telling the truth - their body language is all wrong, whereas Jackson’s language has all the signs of telling the truth when questioned about allegations

    • @V1LL1N

I agree with this yet am completly baffled at how I can also disagree so strongly. I am not sure what on earth this video has to do with 'toxic masculinity' which is a term I dont believe to be an actual thing other than a tool to use against Men who are (just as a woman could be) ignorant, arrogant, or whom use dominance in place of more feminine characteristics like compassion and kindness and gentle kitten petting fluffy mcfuck off kinda of oppression and abuse that does happen, but not relevant to this whatsoever that I can try to see.
I can see however, this term only ever been uddered from the mouths of victims that think masculinity has anything to do with any of their pain because a man has oppressed or abused them and need to actively blame and shun 'the other side/opposite' for overbearing male charateristics that must be kiboshed if we are ever able to even breathe and be free enough to run around like little girls without having to worry about being raped by tricky fellas and approved by cognitive hollywood dissonance? What would Gislene Maxwell or Mirina Abramovic have to say about Toxic Masculinity? To me, and respectfully, this is the last place we need to bring MORE bullshit into. Is that toxic (talk-sick?) femininity to always be whining about the toxic masculinity "we all suffer from?" and giving praise for not being that which has harmed us all. or is it just the equal to radical feminism and I'm being goated by the difference of terms used to describe the same effect?

@@xxjoeyladxx can one say things like : Because you're a survivor, you KNOW??. =Claiming '100%' and "no way" as absolutes that your experiences tell you to be certain of?
Well, maybe that needs to be checked, because being a "survivor" myself, (although I have never looked at it like I was a 'sexual assault survivor') I can speculate at what I feel is closest to MY truth, but that does not give me clearance to say I know anything with 100% certainty or that my victimization (or choice) entitles me to diagnose other victims and their predators with accuracy I can influence others with. When in fact, that may even disregard or undermine the actual pain and truth of others.
If I were to grant myself the same sureities based on my own experieces which are almost identical to this situation from what I can tell - I can completely disagree with your conclusion, yet does that make us wrong, or one of us wrong? No, it just muddy's the waters when we think we have the ability to know truth outside of our own experience of it.
You use their language and body language as assessment tools, which actually makes more of a case against your claims because it at the very least shows reasonable doubt and patterns that illustrate that all parties are being deceptive in one manor or another, regardless of 100% innocent or 100% guilty - its impossible to divide this into that. And we forget ITS HOLLYWOOD they are ALL perfomers, liars, beggars, abusers, manipulators, extortionists, + 100 other good & bad things, and its a SHOW regardless, so do you really KNOW these people? No, its all heresay for 99% of people who have never been whisked away by a pop god and limelit for the world to see, yet being required to "never tell"... so its not a side picking rally to save Michaels' image once and for all, or to stand for victims everywhere is it?
if so- this all serves for nothing.
Nobody is all good or bad and thats what this film depicts most accuratelty, but I feel it's just irresponsible to make claims like this, your truth doesnt harm anyone, but offering your opinion as fact to build a judgement could potentially harm many. Thanks for sharing your truth and your feeling but you dont KNOW anymore than anyone else who wasnt there.

Excellent Podcast on such an important topic! I am grateful that you discussed, with little to no reservations, the very ugly side of paedophilia, a crime which seems to be rampant, worldwide and associated with many powerful groups of individuals. Here in the US, rumours of powerful paedophiles working with children in Hollywood, are off the charts. Your open discussion, with “no holds barred”, needs set the standard and be a universal turning point for people to bring this horrific crime to an end! I appreciate your open and honest expressions regarding difficult topics, intermixed with your humour ......
