Giving a female, girlfriend, wife a gun, aka a constitutional right to have a gun is not sketchy, nor would it mean the person offering is crazy or dangerous lol. Not to mention he was a bouncer so security would be on his mind. If anything he gave her a tool to end his life. So that point of this story is of no consequence and meaningless. Women if a man offers you a gun, take it. Make sure gets in your name and keep. They are expensive and when it takes cops 15-30 mins to get to you, a weapon is your only option. Giving someone a gun for protection should lead no person to think this person is crazy lol
@@larsnootbaarfannsorry to say this. But I agree with you. After she get involved with him, then you try to figure out who he is. Lauren had it back to front.
@@larsnootbaarfann Why tf are you blaming the victim? She was abducted from a university campus. Also, bs on there being nothing they could have done. The guy was a friggin sex offender that kept stalking a girl on campus after she broke up with him. To my knowledge, sex offenders can only attend class. Not stalk students or hang out in the dorms. He should have been arrested. He could have been banned from campus. They could have had security escort her. That's what I've seen police do when people call about being stalked or harassed. They did it for my mom when her ex was stalking her after he pushed her on her porch.
@@larsnootbaarfann Do you think abusers walk around wearing signs that tell you 'Hey, I'm an abuser'? Thank you for telling us that you lack basic empathy. There was so much that could have been done to help her.
The cops that dropped the ball so hard don't even have the decency to do the death notification? They have her running coach do it?! My blood is boiling.
This case happened while my husband was attending the same university. What Unseen left out of this video is that not only did the campus AND city police do NOTHING, but officers actually SHARED REVENGE PORN OF LAUREN AFTER HER MURDER. That is what the bill her parents created detailed. It is sick and makes me so ashamed of our local authorities.
How is it "REVENGE" porn if the police leaked it? Wouldn't that just be a leaked sextape? It would be "REVENGE" if and EX LOVER leaked it and exposed her like that. You're mislabeling the situation, or you're leaving out critical details. Why would the police want to get "REVENGE" on a victim? So until you give clarity on your statement, I don't believe you.
There was either 2020 segment or a dateline story that did cover this disgusting detail as well. Yeah the cops from this case are absolute trash human beings as well as the campus security personnel
Wtaf unfortunately i am not surprised. My mother worked with women in DV situations, the amount of Laughs/Blame/Harrassment the cops contributed to the survivors, on top of the ab**e and v*olence the offenders/perps did.... It's awful. People wonder why survivors are hesitant to go to the police.
They could have done multiple things. 1. Sinse stalker is not campus student, they could issue a trasspasing ban. 2. See if he has outstanding warrants or parole violations.😮 3. Get restraing order from court. 4. Arrest the guy for bringing weapon to campus.!!!
University leaders at Virginia Tech certainly didnt say that after Seung-Hui Cho's mass shooting in 2007, at the time it was the most deadly mass shooting in the USA, which is conveniently now ignored by the mass media in favor of "Columbine" and others.
All campus administration wants to do around here is read some book they wrote, brag about their retirement packages and be left alone in their dark, dank corners..
“My ex bf who I learned lied about his age, is a registered sex offender and on parole is harassing and stalking me.” Police: Ok we’ll call you. They should all be fucking ashamed. This really did not have to happen.
19:15 I started tearing up with her. The pain in her voice is heartbreaking. Shame on the police for not taking her claims seriously until she was gone. They had weeks to help her, *save* her. Rest in peace, Lauren. ❤🕊🌹🤍
This is not even the first time this has happened. This has happened multiple times, to multiple women over multiple areas. The cops don’t listen. The school doesn’t listen, the investigators don’t listen. Sex offenders should never leave a prison cell. I don’t care who you are.
Dems believe otherwise. Obiden hung a MAPS flag on the WH to honor Minor Attracted Persons! Gruesome raised the age of consent in Commifornia. They're trying to normalize pedophilia
The university of Utah failed her, the campus security failed her, and the salt lake city police failed her...Too bad all these people can't be held accountable in some way... Rip Lauren🕊️😢... Sucks that it always takes a person's life, or lives, to implement change for the better smdh...
Campus securities have always pissed me off with the way they handle situations. A friend of mine moved 4 hours away to another state for college, she stayed in a co-ed dormitory. Both men and women would stay in the building but the rooms had to be single sexed. One of her friends who lived on the same floor developed a crush on her. She turned him down and he started stalking her to class and her other friends houses. She alerted the school and security, they gave him a. Slap on the wrist and told him to stop. He then tried to barge into her dorm room when she was closing the door, her Roomate was there and was able to stop him. She told security and again nothing happened. When she was in class her Roomate said she heard jiggling on the door knob and peaked through the little hole. Saw the guy was trying to pick the lock, she barricaded the door and called security. They came by and told him to leave, the school moved his dorm room to a different floor. I friend would send me texts and videos of him trying to pressure her to get drunk with him alone. She didn’t feel safe. I told her if he does anything again, don’t ignore the school rules and contact the police. Because they clearly don’t give a shit about her or her safety. It eventually stopped after he finally graduated, he did return for 1 moment but a close guy friend who was buff pretended to be her boyfriend to scare him off. She’s graduated now and far far away from him.
Its not that they can't be held accountable. There is record of everyone she spoke to or who saw things . The problem is they WONT do anything. So crazy I didn't know about this and I live in utah
the fact that the PD claims it couldn't have been prevented is infuriating. they had WEEKS to prevent it from happening. a registered sex offender is threatening young women and blackmailing them with revenge porn, what more do they need to ARREST HIM? i bet if she had told them he was selling drugs they would have been on him like white on rice. they never pass up a chance to seize those fat stacks of cartel cash.
She was also killed because she & her parents refused to protect her to the best of their abilities. Less TV & more parenting regarding self preservation was warranted.
Growing up I always thought my parents worried too much. Now, I’m so appreciative knowing that my mom would have handcuffed herself to me if I’d been in that situation. She also would have been at the police station every hour until something was done.
The fact that the police continuously dismissed her pleas for help is patronizing and repulsive. It's like they were practically waiting for something bad to happen to her to then finally pick up the case. They should all face consequences. She probably would've been alive right now had they done their job correctly.

I know this happens with any governmental agencies, schools, and hospitals. They just refer you back and forth like phone tag and never check back in to ensure you got the help you needed. My mom has been having bloody urine since 2022 due to a kidney tumor caused by lupus. She can't even see a rheumatologist until December to set up a treatment plan for it. I even offered to donate my healthy blood for when they finally decide to schedule the surgery. They made it sound like it was an emergency in the ER. I know it's bad if emergency staff visibly show concern, but I guess the rest of the departments don't seem to care.
My wife had a stalker when she worked at a gas station years back. The guy was very creepy and would follow her home and watch us through our windows while we would eat and sleep. Eventually he tried to escalate and told her that he wanted to kidnap her next time she took out the trash and asked her if she had ever been kidnapped. When we went to court to file a restraining order when he came to court he lost his mind and was screaming at the judge saying they are out to get him. It didn’t take a week for him to break the restraining order and he was arrested outside our house he started screaming that my wife wasn’t who she said she was and kept saying she was a killer and she was the girl who drove drunk and killed 2 people(this was a high profile case that happened in our state a couple years ago) the man was absolutely delusional stalkers are absolutely dangerous and should be treated with extreme care
Everybody around her FAILED HER. My heart ached through watching this. She literally begged to STAYED ALIVE. I just wished someone in that moment would have said, ‘go home first’. It’s amazing how she called the higher police and was still so calm and collected because at that point I was already frustrated on her behalf. What kind of work ethics is that? Someone complains for weeks and no one sees the need to check in?! I take my job so seriously, always so invested… so seeing others not put in enough effort in theirs really puts me in a bad place.
Because of cases like this, I’ve told my daughters I’d rather you defend yourself *by any means* necessary and risk going to jail, than you waiting for police protection and risking your life. Too many women die trying to do it the “right” way.
Because its a girl and you'd be surprised at how many covert womann hating 💊 incel1z work for the police/justice system . they dont value her life and even shared revenge corn after she was unalive. These 💊 ince1s dont see womenn as humans so they dont see value in her life.
@@heartsmyfaceforever8140 That is literally what we pay taxes for. Sure, nobody works for free but if the police doesn't get enough money to do it's job, than the respective government failed in one of their reasons for existing.
This is ridiculous, I couldn’t imagine having to contact the police ONCE let alone 20 + times including going in person. Shame on them, I hope this keeps them up at night. No women should have to practically beg police officers and campus security to take her life seriously. Rip angel your parents are doing an amazing job in your memory.
Her parents looks like BIG TIME LIBERAL democrats. They taught her to treat everyone equally. This is a BIG MISTAKE!! People are Not equal, Men are NOT equal. If she went out with a nerdy smaller Asian man, Indian man, or other fellow college boys, this would NOT occur. Her LIBERAL democrat parents took away her common sense, and did NOT teach her common sense. She became an EASY victim!!
I'd would leave campus immediately after I found out about his criminal history and drop out of college! I can apply to another college or go to a community college nearby my parent's house instead until I can transfer out!
I cried so so hard... I had no idea about this attack going in and the moment I saw her boyfriend, I could see he was much much older. I wish she had changed her phone number and location... I wish I could go back in time and save her. I do not know you but I miss you Lauren.
Her death was so preventable, nobody should have to beg the police that many times to be helped. Police that are supposed to be protectors! I’m grateful to her parents for working so hard in the face of such heartbreak to make sure what happened to their daughter doesn’t have to happen to anyone else.
It should be a crime to ignore reports that lead to crimes. Those involved should be fired and charged. She’s dead because of them. I’m disgusted by this story. It was easily avoidable
I am so sorry for their loss, but also so proud of her parents. Instead of just letting the University spew their lies, they sued and fought them, developed Lauren's promise and really channeled their pain into lasting change.
I hope they SUED THE CRAP OUT OF THE COLLEGE & SLC police! This could have been avoided and she would still be here. The police couldn’t even call or atleast come to their home in person to give them the awful news that they did nothing to help their daughter & they caused her death. She literally was begging them to save her life & protect her like they’re supposed to be doing. But they did NOTHING
They did Sue and they won a huge settlement. It turned out that somebody on the police force was sharing nude photos of her that were being used to blackmail her.
As soon as I saw the boyfriend, at the beggining of the video, I knew he was the one in Deadpool costume, looking at his figure and the way he walks.. poor girl :(
They didn't want to look racist since nothing had happened yet. With the woke taking over they dont want to get cancelled. It's called black priviledge
@@purplevelvet69 Stalking is a crime. Threatening a person is a crime. Breaking parole is a crime. Did he have a carry permit for that gun?? Harassment is a crime. Police certainly could have done a LOT just with knowing a sex offender was stalking an ex. They easily could have banned him from campus, at the very least, since he was not a student and no longer in a relationship with a student.
Just can't get over how casual and/or apathetic all of the phone calls were. The police were bad enough but then her father?? Her mom claims "I knew that her life was in danger at that time" but then the father's 911 call of "It sounded like someone might have been grabbing her or something..." sounds so uncertain and not even urgent. I was almost surprised when the police finally took the case seriously.
As someone with some stone-faced men in my family, his tone did genuinely read as concerned to me. A lot of men from older generations are more stoic in the face of situations like this because it's what was proper. Besides, in terms of being uncertain... He didn't see what happened, he could only guess.
absolutely heartbreaking the way you can hear the inflection of her voice becoming more and more despondent as the calls with the officers go on, like she already knows that they’re not going to anything. again.
“Lauren’s promise” is a beautiful thing. Such a beautiful way of making sure no one else has to go through what Lauren did. Just a beautiful way of putting it

its disgusting that the campus police DID NOTHING to help this poor girl, she was literally begging at this point, but wait, right after she goes missing, they go serious and take her seriously while shes missing?! how sick. Rest In Peace Lauren.
I'm in tears listening to how Lauren was ignored as she plead for help and protection. Her death was more than likely preventable if the campus and city police had acted. I'm impressed with how her parents chose to turn this tragedy into lifelines for others who face other demons who stalk, abuse, and threaten them. Thank you to the McClusky's and all those who took up the challenge to demand change.
I agree, her parents should have told her how dangerous black men are. She obviously came from a super liberal family and had no understanding about the differences between blacks and whites.
@genesis2936 The cops are still to blame. If they actually did something about the stalking then she wouldn’t have been murdered. Letting a sex offender walk around campus is a risk to everybody there. If the cops tracked him down from the start and actually listen she wouldn’t have been murdered.
@@genesis2936why would you comment this victim-blaming bullshit and then say “hope her loved ones don’t see this” it’s crazy to me how u are acknowledging what you said was fucked up but still said it?? Most Police Departments are not there to protect you. They usually just clean up the mess afterwards. This is so horrible. I have two daughters, and this breaks my heart. I cannot imagine what those parents went through. Their lives will never be the same.
Every single person that let this poor girl down needs to be held accountable. Bro those videos are letting me realize more and more how dangerous a relationship can be. They call you crazy until you die. Sorry baby girl. Rest in peace and love forever.
This honestly made me sad. The fact that she begged for help and went unanswered for weeks is disgusting. I feel so bad for her parents and friends. Police and other authorities shouldn't ignore that.
Once again the police fail taking a victim seriously and all of this could've been prevented if they arrested Melvin sooner! I really hope the family gets heavily compensated for the polices mistakes, Melvin would've been in prison and Lauren could've been saved!
I live in Salt Lake County and have two daughters going to college at this time. It was so sad! The fact that they wouldn't even return her call is frightening! I am saddened that Lauren and her loved ones had to go through this, but I am so grateful for their courage and persistence with all they accomplished for future students and families to not have to experience it! Thank you!
This just breaks my heart. This poor girl meets a guy and less than two months later is scared for her life and killed. "Do you know when an arrest would be made?" This poor baby, he never would be arrested and should have been. He violated his parole and was harassing her.
Not just harassing, but threatening and stalking. The campus police should have at the very least banned him from campus, since he was not a student there.
The university said that they couldn't have done anything?! That place should've been shut down. No one's kids are safe going there if they're that negligent.
RIP Lauren this is the saddest case I have ever listened to and the police did nothing to protect her . I am proud of her Parents for the enduring Love creating Lauren’s Promise
She called police 20 times with consistent theratening messages and concerns about her boyfriend, who is a knows felon and sex offender... this is so sad.. im so sad for this poor family and angry at our justice system. I hate this world.
This is heartbreaking. Absolutely heartbreaking. Poor girl, her poor poor parents. Im in tears for her, her friends and family. The campus, the police involved they should never sleep soundly again.
@TsunamiWebster The man she was dating lied about his name and age and everything about him. You’re forgetting that she broke up with him after she found out who he really was. She told the police and provided evidence and they still didn’t do anything. Quit defending the police when they could’ve done so much to help her and the campus
Imagine doing all this to prevent yourself from any tragedy but still being caught up in the mess, i'd be haunting he police for the rest of their lives
Another senseless loss of life that was totally preventable. What that department did was criminally negligent. As for Melvin…nothing of value was lost.
They failed her even worse AFTER her murder, too. The police shared revenge porn of her with each other. That is what the details of her bill entailed.
@brokencat2662 It was mostly the police. She broke up with the sex offender so she did the right thing. The police on the other hand did nothing to help her. She asked for help and they refused to help her even though she provided his ID and text messages to them. Anyways the man literally lied about himself any person could easily fall for that.
The cops here are infuriating. They didn't even have the balls to call the parents to say they actively failed to protect their daughter. That is criminal. The parents need to sue the university and UP.
My friend had been dating this guy for a few months, and I had a bad feeling about him. One day as he was sitting in a chair I saw something fall out of his pocket. I waited until he got up and left the room to get it. It was an envelope addressed to someone with a different name. The dude was using a fake name and was wanted in Florida. Can’t trust anyone today.
Omg as a fellow student at the U. I felt terrible watching this and terrified that I could recognise most of the locations in the video. RIP Lauren. Must Stay Always Vigilant and Safe!
If she told the cops about the gun…they should have arrested him on VIOLATION of Parole rules. He should have been arrested and placed back in prison then and there and Lauren would still be with us today!
they didn't even bother to look up his parole status. they just straight up didn't care what happened to her. there's no money in preventing crime, especially violent crime against women.
I commented this same thing under another comment. When he brought the gun and they saw her was convicted that should have been an automatic phone call. Stupidity on the police.
WTF…? This makes me so angry! Why do they not look into his history?! I don’t get it! I hope they hold the cops and campus police accountable! This could have been avoided if they had listened!
@TsunamiWebster She didn’t know he was a sex offender until she found his ID and looked into him. She fell for him because he was nice and he completely lied to her. She broke up with him. At least watch the video. Don’t take the officer’s side especially when they released revenge porn of her.
Thank you for taking stalking and acquaintance threats seriously. Bless you for helping young girls and others to be safer. Thank for increasing more serious awareness of gender based and sex based crimes.
To be fair, there's plenty of right-wingers, incel types who think unless a woman actually ends up dead or missing, her stalker has a "side" that isn't being heard.
RIP Lauren. This is the best documentary Ive seen on her case, and I watch every one that comes out about her story. This is the first time a creator has brought attention to the Laurens Promise foundation. Why more creators miss this part is beyond me. Laurens Promise is her legacy, and its saving lives. I absolutely love their mission statement and cause. I was a victim of stalking in the past, and the constant fear that something horrible is about to happen consumes every moment of your life. Basically your life grinds to a halt. You cant sleep, you check your locks over and over, make people promise to check on you if they dont hear from you, look out your windows constantly… what’s just as bad is that no one cares. I was shrugged off by police, told that unless THEY SEE him in the act theres nothing they can do. Then being forced to see this person in court while I had to try to convince a judge that what happened actually happened, and have to CONVINCE a judge of why I had a “good enough” reason to tell this person to stay away from me, was a whole level of trauma in itself. That should be a right anyone has without fighting in court for it. “Well he hasnt done anything illegal yet that you can prove..” What they are essentially saying is that until they try to kill you you aren’t a victim and arent worthy of protection. Its b*llsh*t. Whats even MORE messed up is that the judge ordered a parenting plan during the hearing for my restraining order without asking any questions whatsoever. In order to comply with the parenting plan he had access to me AND my child every single drop off / pick up. The restraining order was worthless and all it did was give him unsupervised access to my defenseless child. The system needs to change. It needs a complete overhaul. How are we as victims supposed to “JuSt lEavee” when it puts us in danger and makes the situation even worse??
I just couldn’t believe that the campus police didn’t do anything before it was too late, Lauren would have still been alive. This story made me choked up 😢
When i was followed home from a busstop by a guy the campus police asked me why i was leaving campus on my own. I was taking tutoring classes in a mall off campus. This guy followed me on two buses and i called a friend pretending he was my boyfriend to come meet me at my stop. I was so fucking scared and the campus police didn't care.
So instead of helping they questioned you like you were in the wrong. Their entire job is to protect people and they couldn’t even be bothered. I’m sorry that happened but I’m happy you’re safe.

I'm actually crying and I'm glad that her family made positive changes. It's so tragic that Lauren had to lose her life before the positive changes happened 😥
I'm a girl and crying too! I can't even imagine her fear and now what her family is going through. More and more I'm surprised I actually got through college unscathed...
All staff at the university campus & police dept who didn't act & those who ignored Lauren's situation should have all been sacked and sued individually. The investigators and the spokesperson who said 'nothing could have been done' should also have been sacked. What an abhorrent disgrace, an appalling bunch of heartless, lazy people whose lack of due diligence and lack of care cost a young woman her life!
Many people should lose their jobs for not doing their jobs and the first one on the list should be the university president for her idiotic response that there was nothing that could have been done to save Lauren. Shameful and disgusting response!

A huge negligence from the police and the university. She asked for help more than 20 times, and yet no one took her seriously. She could have been protected easily. What a shame !
There was something similar to this at my university. A 30 year old guy was creeping on the girls at my uni, majority being under the age of 20. Students tried to get police involved but it was ignored as the actual victims of his harassment never came to them. We had to intact title 9 for harassment for the university to finally do something.
This entire thing could have been avoided, anytime between the 1st and the 20th phone call to police. To say that "There is nothing we could have done" Is simply a lie, and not even a good one at that.
At 21:52" "Women must be believed ...". No, that is not the answer. Plenty of women lie about DV. When anyone files a complaint it should be looked into with the attitude of getting to the truth. The failure seems to be that a complaint was not handled by a detective. There should have been a way to allocate a detective to the case as soon as the gun or the fake ID was discovered. That shows there is something sinister going on.
This is one of the best presented videos I have ever seen, and I have seen thousands. Such a sad story of a wonderful woman who contacted lazy police. Kudos to her family who made such positive changes to college campus safety nationwide.
She did everything right to save her own life, and the people who should have helped her, all failed to render proper assistance (alarming). From the campus security, to the police departments, they all FAILED Lauren. They all started to take action when it was too late, such a shame.
She didn't take her own self-protection seriously enough. She was relying on the police to help her, and when they wouldn't, she should have been more pro-active, even to the point of walking alone at night. I'm not victim blaming here, but I do think we all have the number one responsibility to protect ourselves.
They need to bring this to England. Someone close to me experienced domestic abuse whilst on campus. The university had the gall to place the perpetrator in protected accommodation and left the victim open to potential further attack by the perps friends or even by the perp as the victim was left on campus in the dorm the perp was familiar with. This was not too long ago! It happened at a very good university in Wales! The university didn’t even phone the family to let them know. It was discovered by the friend of the victim who contacted the authorities and the parents. These universities have a duty of care for their students, yet that’s not what we saw! I must add that the victim had not been attending classes as the perp kept the victim from going to classes, kept the victim on lock down. The university didn’t even do a welfare check to see if the victim was ok. The friend told us that they contacted the university security on many occasions and their plea’s fell on deaf ears.
What they told the police wasn’t even some convoluted he said/she said thing (which is sometimes the excuse authorities use). A non-resident was lurking the campus and by his own admission was bringing a firearm. Their lack of action is just insanity.
The police could have saved this lady. She had a bright and long future ahead but the police didn't even take her seriously. Lauren could still be alive, maybe even famous, with a family and a life. This was a REAL LIFE they lost, the police have to live with this forever and they deserve it. The parents and friends now have to live with the pain that the police could have done something.
I hate how most stalking victims are treated like insane people who are paranoid and like to overreact. Like what would you do if you had someone 3x your size constantly trying to contact you and possibly hurt you and not being able to do do ANYTHING about it.

WTF…? This makes me so angry! Why do they not look into his history?! I don’t get it! I hope they hold the cops and campus police accountable! This could have been avoided if they had listened!
Her fault..tho..😂 women love the bad guys
What gets me is he brought her a gun and is a felon. That right there was enough for a phone call to his probation officer
@TsunamiWebster She didn’t know he was a sex offender until she found his ID and looked into him. She fell for him because he was nice and he completely lied to her. She broke up with him. At least watch the video. Don’t take the officer’s side especially when they released revenge porn of her.

The left... That's what's wrong... The left.
To be fair, there's plenty of right-wingers, incel types who think unless a woman actually ends up dead or missing, her stalker has a "side" that isn't being heard.
As a Christian, I must say that we live in a Fallen World.
@hystericalpeanut2844 I know that it's not related to the topic of the video but I absolutely love your profile pic
Wtf, who doesn’t leave campus on their own? What kinda moronic question is that?

Jesus Christ wants a personal relationship with you through the Holy Spirit, not religion and blind faith. You see, we all have sinned and deserve punishment but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God bodily, a perfect, sinless sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins by shedding His blood on the cross. He died and rose from the dead so that we may have everlasting life. It is all finished and now for you to accept the free gift of grace you must believe from your heart in Jesus Christ, that He paid the price for your sins, that He is risen and alive. Don't trust in your own goodness but transfer your trust to Jesus and follow Him, get to know Him personally. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again, know Jesus personally and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Believe in Him, read the Bible and pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and change you, obey the Word. Much love and God bless you!
This is heartbreaking. I'm a female and to hear the fear in Laurens voice when she was calling the police... For them just to transfer her back to the college security, is not good enough!
But "they did nothing wrong" according to the Uni Admin...
Simply disgusting!!!
Many people should lose their jobs for not doing their jobs and the first one on the list should be the university president for her idiotic response that there was nothing that could have been done to save Lauren. Shameful and disgusting response!
The lack of concern from both campus and local city agencies ultimately aided in her murder, and should be held accountable
She literally did the police's work, all they had to do was put him in cuffs. It's just disgusting!
The incompetence of this PD is breathtaking.
Completely preventable. I am disgusted by the behavior of the various police that blew her off…. They should all be ashamed of themselves
SHAME ON THE POLICE INVOLVED IN THIS CASE!! She was begging for them to keep her safe and they didn’t give two F’S then when they finally see she’s missing and possibly dead, they only then take action when it’s too late.
@@Simply_charlee..they did this by intent . Police was afraid she would lead investors to their own drty prn business. Police are part of the system. Never trust them.
We had to intact title 9 for harassment for the university to finally do something.
it was scary watching this, the messages and fake names. I can't imagine how lauren felt.
the police should have done more help!
This entire thing could have been avoided, anytime between the 1st and the 20th phone call to police.
To say that "There is nothing we could have done" Is simply a lie, and not even a good one at that.
She paid the coal toll, afro sapiens are like this
At 21:52" "Women must be believed ...".
Truth
She didn't take her own self-protection seriously enough. She was relying on the police to help her, and when they wouldn't, she should have been more pro-active, even to the point of walking alone at night. I'm not victim blaming here, but I do think we all have the number one responsibility to protect ourselves.
This story is always equally heartbreaking and infuriating.
Nope 😂, don't date bad boys
The real deadpool: I have no idea who this guy is I swear!
Their lack of action is just insanity.
this case is actually heart crushing, rest in peace Lauren 🕊️
The police could have saved this lady. She had a bright and long future ahead but the police didn't even take her seriously. Lauren could still be alive, maybe even famous, with a family and a life. This was a REAL LIFE they lost, the police have to live with this forever and they deserve it. The parents and friends now have to live with the pain that the police could have done something.
I hate how most stalking victims are treated like insane people who are paranoid and like to overreact. Like what would you do if you had someone 3x your size constantly trying to contact you and possibly hurt you and not being able to do do ANYTHING about it.
And the only thing they'll say is to "block them", it's pathetic.
She was victim of her own dumbness dating a black
this is so sad. and the fact that she called the cops multiple time willing they would react accordingly makes it more sad

I am also a student at a top school in canada, a few days ago somebody kept ringing my campus dorm bell multiple times. Infact more than 50 times.Whenever i go to the door i find no one. I immediately decided to stand upstairs and peep through a glass window which i could see the main door from where i was standing, i saw a man leaving my door after ringing again no doubts he was the one ringing all those times my roommates and i called campus security and to our shock they said whoever had been ringing our door bell for more than 50 times was just playing with us and we should play along.
