I have a question if you don’t mind? If peter’s suit records everything could he not just show a video of him to strange, Ned, happy, and mj about everything they been through. Yes it wouldn’t change anything realistically but at least they could know that part of their life that is missing and if they want to continue relationships with each other they could.
I didn't like much of Garfields movies, they make him look like the typical bad boy American high school student but in this movie he was good really enjoy watching him.
Garfield’s Spider-Man catching MJ was such a unique moment. His acting was phenomenal and hit me hard knowing that it was a nod to him not being able to save Gwen. One of my favorite moments.
I kinda hoped that there would be a scene where andrew tells himself: no..not gwen again I am not making the same mistake. Just like in the comics but it was still a dope scene

The scene in Ned's house where Andrew and Tobey FINALLY turned up will stay with me forever. I'm still not over it. I may have to go and see it again, just to confirm that it actually happened.
Same with me, As soon as I and the entire in the cinema saw them step out of the portal everyone went insane it was honestly great seeing them again in a Spider-Man film
Oh man, Dafoe doing creepy, psycho goblin again was my favorite part of the movie - close behind Alfred Malina. Glad we saw more of him without the mask; dafoe is so good with facial expressions

When they fight outside Happy’s apartment and he laughs in Peter’s face while Peter punches him with everything he’s got. Then proceeds to literally put Peter through the floor. Gave me chills I smiled so hard I laughed. So good

Same here. My mum, who hasn’t watched the Raimi trilogy was like “what just happened”. So many call backs + Easter eggs from the other films it was such a good movie
When Tobey told Andrew "You're not lame, you're amazing." I got sooo emotional. They were definitely making a reference to real life, and I can't imagine how Andrew Garfield must have felt during this entire experience of going back to play Spider-man again. I really can't wait to hear him talk about it. He really stole the screen. He is very special.

4 moments in particular had my cinema going crazy: -Toby walking try the portal -the 3 Spider-Men running and jumping of the scaffolding together -Andrew saving mj had me in tears - Andrew running and jumping thru the portal literally had the room sounding like a World Cup grand final Such an incredible movie, so many moments of happy tears.
It was crazy cuz like Cap picked up Mjolnir and it was just immediate hype But when the portal opened to Garfield spidey, it was very gradual. Two people realized what was about to happen, then 4, then 10, then the back, to where we were all screaming before he jumped through. It was so fun.

Man, Dafoe cemented himself as the best Spider-Man villain on screen. Also, I love that Marko was never "human" until he was cured. It made his being cured MUCH more impactful.
The interactions between Tobey , Tom and Andrew was the best part of this movie. I liked how Tom and Andrew were tryna figure out how Tobey could shoot webs directly from his wrists😂😂😂

@@treysniper no, tom’s spider man also has web shooters. i think if u look closer on his wrist u see these black wrist bands, and he ALWAYS has them on. idk if it’s just a reflex for him at this point or just a precaution he has, but he’s always wearing those web shooters
I really love how both Tom and Tobey were saying "you're Amazing" to Andrew when Andrew considered himself "lame" compared to the other Spider-men. It's a metaphor of how most people consider the Amazing Spider-man movies to be bad compared to the other spider-man movies. And Tom and Tobey are like "no they are Amazing". 😁

But some people tend to criticize the Amazing Spider-man movies plus The Amazing Spider-man movies are the worst rated Spider-man movies out there for some reason. So Tobey and Tom were cheering up Andrew for having the worst rated Spider-man movies out of the lot.
I grew up with Tobey and Andrew, but Andrew has been my favorite since. Seeing how his movies were the least liked compared to the three was always disappointing. I loved this reference, telling him that HE is AMAZING, because he truly is. I really loved that. This movie gave him the justice that he deserved and I am now fully content and satisfied.
When May said the famous line right before her death, I realised that THATS why this hadn’t yet felt like the authentic Spider-Man we all know and love yet. He needed this movie and these events to shape him into Spidey. I think he’s finally there.
He might not be the best Spider-Man but Garfield is the best performer, his face when he saved MJ stole the show for me. The relief he felt was palpable and we knew he was redeemed. 10/10 movie for me, wasn’t overstuffed and everyone got their chance to shine.
Andrew was never a bad Spider-Man , it was just the writing for The amazing Spider-Man 2 it’s what dragged his rep down , it was so nice to see him finally get another chance again and it shows what good writing can do for his Spider-Man

On a side note, can we appreciate Tom's acting in the movie? His crying scenes made my heart beat fast. It was incredible how he portrayed so much with only his expressions. Hats off Tom, and the ENTIRE cast!
I lost it when he referenced his back. It also implied that he's in his 40s as a Spiderman, even Doc said he has grown. He also talked about how it took him years to think about things, he was alone after his last movie and found his way back to MJ. It's beautiful.

Honestly, I also hoped that he turned out to be a science teacher. In the comics he did this for a bit and he was SO acting like a good, caring teacher throughout this! Anyway, one of my favorite lines was, "Why would I say ghat I'm Spider-Man? That sort of defeats the purpose of a secret identity, doesn't it?" Bruh, Tom needs to stop pulling off his mask and telling everyone his name.
Let's just give some credit to the fact that Peter Parker defeated Dr. Strange with Geometry. It was really awesome to watch all these characters interacting with each other. All the actors played their part really well. What a couple of days ! we got to see - Yelena, Kingpin, Daredevil, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Electro, Lizard, Sandman, Doctor Strange, Venom, Strange Supreme, Scarlett Witch and 3 Spidermans. I am really glad this is all happening in our timeline.

When Peter ditched his shiny nanosuit for a simple, selfmade one... He was no longer leaning on others. Neither on people or advanced technology made with hidden features to save his butt. Man, what a character development! He is finally shares the personality traits with the OG Spiderman characters since life forced it on him. Tom Holland's acting was phenomenal!

I found it to be a pretty funny meta commentary on how the Andrew Garfield movies aren't really favourited or liked by most Spider-Man fans. I liked the movies though, he is amazing.
I absolutely loved how Tobey portrayed his version of Spidey. It’s a natural continuation of his dorky yet charmingly genuine and meek Peter Parker, exuding so much wisdom and experience. While Andrew had the most lines and was the most energetically outgoing, Tobey killed every scene with him in it. Especially when he stopped Tom’s Spidey from killing Goblin, and just stares back at him without saying anything. All three Spider-Men were given so much love and all three were given the spotlight. Fantastic movie.

ikr, they just like siblings in the movie, love their interaction. Tobey being the oldest and the wisest among the three, Andrew the second brother who always care not only about his brothers, but also keep in check his little brother's girlfriend safety (afraid what happened to him would happen to his little brother too). and there's Tom as the youngest and the most chatter of all the three, he just can't help but got curious of everything about his two older brothers. even their little conversation at the top of the statue are cute, just 3 brothers hanging out and have little nice chat.
When Andrew caught mj and started crying when she was okay and thought about gwen I lost it. Straight bawled my eyes out. Loved it all, movie was historical for all of us Spider-Man fans and I’m positive I speak for all of us true fans saying thank you Sony/marvel for giving this to us.
My man, I can't even believe I'm saying this but thank you Marvel/Sony for doing the Spiderman movies right. Not only I was I hating Tom Holland Spiderman they literally changed my mind with this movie. They fixed the issue with the Tobey and Andrew Spiderman movies where the villains died. Instead they did exactly what Spiderman would do which was save them. This movie had so much nostalgia for me and it looked like Tobey hadn't missed a day. The costume literally brought back memories of Sam Rami's Spiderman when it first came out.

They also put it again when he meets doc again, definitely almost me cry from the nostalgia. I've been desperately waiting to see if Toby would ever come back as spider man in anyway for the mcu. I don't think Peter left MJ and Ned alone because they seemed "happier", I think he just thought that that was not the time. Making them remember will be a slow process, and for now, that's all he could do. I believe he will try to make them remember. After all, he promised he would. I refuse to believe that MJ and Ned will never remember Peter Parker.

Both William Defoe and Alfred Molina were fantastic.. Both of those villains captured the scenes they were in. I'm really glad they were able to cure Doc Oc, but Goblin truly felt evil to me.

All enjoyment from this film came from seeing the spideys and villains of my youth coming back, and even then the mcu comedy inserted in scenes we don’t need felt forced, the Disney stuff just feels empty to me man but the movies enjoyable
This movie proves that andrew’s movies had SO MUCH potential, but the writers just didn’t deliver. All the writers of this movie needed was an hour, and now Toby’s spider man has perfect closure.
I love how we got to see a side of Norman that was pure hearted and how lost and desperate he was to get rid of Goblin, also how thankful Doc was to Toms Spider-Man for fixing his chip.
that moment was one of the best IMO. Seeing all the villains begin to warm up to the idea of a second chance, especially how happy Doc Ock and Osborn were was magical
The craziest moment was when the three of them joined and started swinging. That scene was so exceptional...the theatre WENT NUTS !!! I've never heard such screaming in my life.

I love how the movie leaned into the memes; “I’m something of a scientist myself” “I’m sure there’s a Black Spider-Man out there” “I can crack your back for you” A couple of lines that made me laugh out loud. The movie definitely rewards fans of everything Spider-Man
The best scene for me among the countless others was when Andrew saved MJ and then breaks down. That scene was sooo powerful, he had been denying in the movie that he had no time for such things, and when MJ fell down, it was deja vu, and redeemed himself. I know it's probably not gonna happen but I really really wish that they somehow bring Andrew's and Tobey's spiderman more and have them interact with Tom's Spiderman.

Yeah, I had to admit, this movie really raised all three of them up. Tobey didn't need as much raising as we had seen much of his character arc, and a now older, more mature Tobey, took the lead in helping guide Tom to not take the dark path that he had gone down at times, and he even stopped him from making a decision he'd regret because of his anger and vengeance. He reminded him what all of them and their loved ones stood for. Spider Man doesn't kill. He helps people, and now they had the chance to save their own villains. Andrew showed so much emotion and love for his two counterparts. He had gone through so much and feeling so much regret that he was tempted to never put his mask back on. "I've always wanted brothers..." "I love you guys!" Saving another Peter's MJ. He would have never done that had he given up before instead of fighting on as Spider Man like Gwen would have wanted him to. Now he had two other Peters that he could relate to. He wasn't alone anymore in that regard. Tom felt like a kid before, with zero consequences to his actions and often naiive decisions, wanting to find the easiest way out and often not thinking things through, and now there were consequences. He gave up the ultra important glasses to someone he barely knew because his story seemed plausible, which lead to him wanting to just erase peoples' memories everywhere, to wantonly adding to an already incredibly dangerous spell on the spur of the moment, having not even trying to reach out to MIT beforehand, and you can see that this carelessness lead to grave consequences which he has to live with the regret of. When Aunt May died, he had no more family, so these two other Peters coming into his life made sense. They were like him, understood him deeply, but knew that without guidance, he may go down a dark path. Tobey stopped him, and Andrew saved his MJ. I would have liked for Tom to thank Andrew for that. Either way, Tom felt like he was ready to make the ultimate sacrifice because at this point, he had to take responsibility and not find another shortcut, making the only choice that could save their universe. Even deciding to forgo just getting his friends involved again and work as the silent protector, felt more mature and more like Spider Man. In other words, this movie was awesome, and I loved every Spider Man even more from it.
Dude that was honestly pretty heartbreaking to see everybody forget who Peter was and now he is all alone, man :/ still love the ending though, I honestly think it’s a perfect way to end the first trilogy and to start the next one

All of his relationships with people are just lost and confusing. He has nobody, Liz doesn’t know, Mj, Ned? TONY?! They never found out who he was and the relationships mean nothing. Everything in Endgame is lost?? And just think. Tony wouldn’t have made the time machines if he didn’t know who Peter was? Therefor endgame is a myth and couldn’t have happened?

I thought the memory wipe was a cop-out by the writers. Memory wiping characters is a lazy writing trope. No need to worry about continuity and the arcs of every character when you can just memory wipe everyone and reset everything with no effort.

The multiverse was shattering for christ sake. At least this way we get Peter with just a red and blue suit being the friendly neighborhood Spiderman.
One thing I noticed that broke my heart was that Peter had a GED book at the end, meaning he basically has to start from scratch schoolwise too - which is also clearly something that has always been super important for him. Makes sense though, since he never actually graduated if he never existed
This movie was super necessary for Tom, now he understands proper pain and understands the consequences of being Spider-Man. I hope to see them emphasize on this in his next movies.
Tom always had Avengers to back him up. He was on Tony's shadow this whole time.Nobody even mentioned Tony Stark's name this time around, not even in the last scene with Happy and pretty glad that happened, they had to stop getting sympathy on Tony's account. Now Tom's spiderman is actually what a spiderman is supposed to be. The one who saves everyone even though he himself loses everything he loves.
This movie has the perfect ending due to the character arcs of each and every single character of the movie. It’s like throughout the movie the characters got their closure one by one. First it was Doc Ock, then Sandman, Lizard, Electro and finally Green Goblin. Goblin’s being the most heartbreaking as he truly cared for Peter and saw him as his son. Watt’s starts out with the villains getting cured because it makes Aunt May’s message absolutely clear. She really believed in something and her faith really did help someone. Then finally we see the heroes gain their redemption. I love the fact that they start with Andrew because the amount of hate he got when he was casted was something Tobey never experienced and Tom didn’t face in the same stature. The fact that the Spider-Man’s show him support and hype him up really represents the fans who liked him since his casting. It also gives him the boost and confidence to save MJ. The redemption he was always craved. He got to save Tom’s MJ which must have made Gwen so proud. Then we see Tobey sacrifice himself to save Peter’s innocence, integrity and his Uncle Ben’s message. Tobey knows the cost of revenge and was ready to sacrifice his life to save Tom from the suffering he endured. Tobey also saves Green Goblin which he always wished to do as he was a mentor to him. Tobey’s redemption not only saved the hero of the movie but also revived the hero in the villain. And finally Tom received his redemption; although painful he sacrifices everything. If we think about it his ending fixed everything wrong we found with Holland’s Spider-Man. He lost both May and Ben Parker along with Ironman. He lost all his mentors and his friends to save the the world. He truly escaped Ironman’s shadow and matured. Tom’s Spider-Man ended up having the most difficult and darkest past to create his own identity and learn his responsibilities. Aunt May truly saved “everyone” by saving “someone”. It really was the perfect ending.

Andrew, in a way, gets a second chance to save Gwen and Tobey, in a way, gets a second chance to forgive Uncle Ben’s supposed killer and also to save Norman, his best friends dad. So cool that Tobey was able to look into Toms eyes and teach him to forgive because he knew that revenge didn’t make anything better.
Honestly tho after Spider-Man 3 and TASM2 I never thought that Tobey and Andrew would return to the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man again. No Way Home was like Sony's apology to the fans for how they treated both actors and got rid of em after their final appearances in their respective movies.
My biggest complain with Tom's Spiderman was that it seemed like he had it easy compared to Tobey and Andrew but the ending of this movie was so cruel and made me understand and appreciate his arc better
I LOVED the ending of this movie. Peter on his own in his small apartment making his own suit. THAT is Spider-Man. A simple man who had a simple life but was bitten by a radioactive spider and now has the responsibility of the world in his hands. Can’t wait for what Tom has in store for the future.
This movie really solidified the fact that Andrew Garfield deserved at least another Spider-man movie of his own. Just with very limited screen time, you can clearly see that with the right script, he is THE BEST SPIDERMAN we will ever get to see on the big screen and thats no disrespect to Tobey and Tom at all. We all love them. But you can sense that Andrew really gives his heart out every time he puts on the red and blue suit and clearly is hardcore Spider-man fan as well which makes his acting just natural to a sense. I hope I am not only speaking for myself but we really need to see him become our friendly neighborhood Spider-man again.

there’s a theory circulating around that he’ll probably get another movie because in the morbius trailer there’s graffiti on a wall of spider-man that says murderer under it and as andrew garfield’s spider-man said that he stopped pulling his punches leads people to believe that the graffiti is referring to him and also the suit the spider-man in the graffiti is wearing is very similar to andrews suit
Something that caught me by surprise was how the impacts of this movie were handled, both physical and emotional. Fights had a lot of weight and power behind them! Also, the scene where Andrew saves MJ is my favorite MCU scene now. So impactful
for me the scene where tom's peter parker chose not to help MJ or his friend to remember him is the most impactful one. IT shows that peter has grown up and have responsibility with his decision. He knows that if he made them remember then his suphero thing wil bring dangers to them so he chose to leave his past and move on.
For me personally this movie was better than endgame. I literally grew up watching the Spider-Man movies especially Tobeys so seeing both of them return was like seeing my entire childhood come right back to me. Both me and my cinema erupted into chaos when all 3 Spider-Man met. It was beautiful.
Yeah, though this film relied heavily on fan service, it was done so well that I may favor it over Endgame now. Idk if I could count this as a solo film though.
One of my favorite scenes was when Murdock caught the brick behind him that was thrown in the window and his explanation was “I’m a really good lawyer” haha I’m so excited to see him in the MCU daredevil is one of my favorite hero’s of all time
Yes. And it absolutely vindicates all of us who pointed those things out. It was such a problem and an obstacle for his growth that even the filmmakers themselves set out to correct it.
I think the next Trilogie will be simulsre to this on as in ned and mj will find out the truth but mayby ned will become the hobgoblin instead of being Peters friend
@@Avenging_Archer it wasnt a problem, from the beginning they’ve always said his journey is about growth this was always his specific journey because they took a different route than the other movies because there’s not really any growth for tobey or Andrew. They’re just already responsible & experienced & almost perfect which Peter isn’t in the least.

I find it amazing how from when the original tobey spiderman released how they never even thought of this movie but somehow it fit so perfectly of him being an alternate spiderman universe and coming into this movie and makes it look like it's been planned for years it just connects my whole childhood into one big movie absolutely perfect
Hearing Garfield come on screen today makes me kinda wish we got his 3rd movie. Dudes inanely good at acting and he stole the show in the fight scene with his banter imo
I don't really like garfield as peter, but in this movie he mostly showed up as his spiderman persona, stole every scene involving the other two spiderman
The ending legitimately made my heart hurt. He gave up everything to really become spider-man. Looking forward to the next trilogy. Where Andrew saved mj was really great too.
Excerpt it literally makes no sense because there is no reason for him to leave after the spell and not explain what’s going on if he was going to do it later anyway. One thing I noticed was that when Peter is in astral form but still dodging Strange, you can somewhat see the visualization of the Spidey Sense like it is in the comics.

I’ll never forget the feeling of seeing Andrew run through that portal and the audience cheering. It was insane! Getting chills just thinking it. I still can’t believe this movie actually happened.
Me too, but when Toby right after. I couldn't believe it actually happened. My favorite part was when Toby is fighting sand man in the statue of liberty and they put the original Rami ost. They also put it again when he meets doc again, definitely almost me cry from the nostalgia. I've been desperately waiting to see if Toby would ever come back as spider man in anyway for the mcu. Seeing this actually happen just made my eyes water up.
For me, the most emotional scene was when Andrew Garfield saved MJ and he just stood there so emotional and MJ asking him if he was okay was so wholesome!!
A lot of people are talking about Dafoe and Molina, but I'm just here appreciating Jamie Foxx. Man, that dude went from boring to absolute threat because that glowup was so clean.
He went from nerd to badass. Reminded me alot of Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger. He did such a splendid job as Electro, one of the best super villains there is

I see that a lot of people don't like that everyone forgot who Spiderman was. I think this is phenomenal character development from a naive teen spiderman to a young adult spiderman. This signifies maturity and a sense of going back to the root of Spiderman's origins. Not some kid with the weight of stark industries on his shoulders or the benefits of being an avenger. He's back to being your friendly neighborhood spiderman. On another note, I absolutely loved Andrew Garfield's Spiderman in this movie. He was incredible.
It's the stupidity of it for me. The spell was to make everyone forget he was Spiderman, not erase him from existence. Ned and MJ would still remember their friend from school, and if aunt may had survived would she not remember who her NEPHEW was??? GIGANTIC plot hole
The “cool youth pastor” line was probably the one that got the biggest laugh out of me (although I laughed throughout this whole movie - I think funnier than Ragnarok). I had been thinking the whole time “wow Tobey is dressed like a hip Dad” so that line threw me. I LOVED this movie!!

When Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire stepped out of the portal the entire cinema just lost it! It was sooo good seeing them in a Spider-Man film again and I hope they will be in future Marvel films
They didn't lose it with Garfield when Tobey showed his face I was quietly going "yessssssssss" as in finally. Although that ending makes it seem like they never come back to the MCU so this whole movie was just fan service and that makes me angry

NEVER thought I'd see a better Spidey film than Raimi's Spider-Man 2 but No Way Home has truly raised the bar in a way that probably won't be topped for another 17 years
ikr. Until this afternoon, Spider-Man 2 was hands-down my favorite superhero movie of all time. As a spidey fan they nailed everything. I'd have to go back and rewatch- I think SM2 is still my favorite, but after this it's going to be a photo finish to figure it out. One thing's for sure, Alfred Molina and Tobey Maguire are both in 2 of my all-time superhero movies.

Andrew brought comedy to this movie, he definitely is the funniest Spider-man. Especially in the scene where he's asked by MJ to crawl on the ceiling to prove he's spider-man. That really cracked me up lmao 🤣🤣

Really? He seemed to be the darkest. Apparently, he never moved on from Gwen, it’s clearly in his mind all the time since he’s so fast to break down at anything related to her, his Peter Parker life was over, and he said he “stopped pulling his punches”, meaning he more than likely has killed people by this point.

When we first see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man, it was amazing. When we see Tobey Maguire's, it take you back to when you were kids (and you get excited like one). When Garfield's Spidey said he wasn't much and they called him Amazing, that was so sick. When Electro says he expected Spider-Man to be black (Miles Morales) we loved it. When ALL THREE SPIDER-MEN were web slinging on screen? OH MY WORD. It was beautiful. And all the interactions between the Spideys were so good. So cool to see on screen in live action. Also when Osbourne said, "I'm something of a Scientist myself." Oh, man. Fan service throughout the whole move to such a truly epic level.
and seeing Matt Murdoc as Peters lawyer was a nice touch, especially after the recent Hawkeye episode, disney+ did introduce something again that came out with the movie, like force heal in the mandalorian and then the same day/week with latest starwars

The moment where my theatre started to realise Andrew Garfield came out everyone in my theatre was freaking out and when he opened his mask everyone was cheering and when Tobey Maguire came out they cheered again and that was the first time in my life when everyone cheered and I will never forget this moment and feeling and this film is the best marvel film yet
I know many wont talk about this But Williem Dafoe and Tom Holland's hand to to hand combat in the end was so damn good I loved it and especially showing how Peter was about to do the same mistake as that committed by other two spidermans getting so angry that he was about to finish someone And when Tobey stopped him damn it gave me chills
Got such Peter B. Parker vibes from Tobey. It was also so great to see how well they got along, how they supported each other. The moment where Tobey stops Tom from killing the Goblin…that constant eye contact, the way Tobey somehow put so much love and compassion and understanding into his eyes and body language without saying a word…masterful acting and an emotional moment I’ve only seen a few people mention.
My childhood came back. This was SO EMOTIONAL AND MY THEATER ROOM WAS AMPED AND WILD. I’m so happy with this. Thank you Sony and marvel and all the actors for making this happen!! I loved it.
Literally the only thing I was annoyed about was the after credit scene where Venom was placed into the mcu ONLY for the symbiote to be left. I feel like they could've done that differently with the same end result. It just felt very pump and dump of a character Kevin Feige was praising just a couple days ago. Hopefully they do somehow bring him back, that was my only flaw.
Strange said that only people that know Peter Parker is Spiderman came through from other universes. So if the hivemind theory of the symbiote is true, than Eddie Brock from Raimi's Spiderman 3 is the reason Tom Hardy's Venom shows up here. Only logical explanation since there isn't really a Spiderman in the Venomverse.
Bro I cried so much at Andrews’s scenes. Tobey’s Peter calling Andrew’s Peter “amazing” and then Andrew’s Peter saving MJ from the fall. Andrew’s acting in both of those scenes is phenomenal. I wish we get to see at least one more film with Andrew Garfield as Spidey.

I loved seeing Tobey as like a older Spider-Man with more experience and the other Spider-Man's talking about his organic webs. I also loved seeing Andrew and redeeming himself. I cried when they were all swinging together. Andrew was a good Spider-Man and deserved a chance to put on the suit one more time. I hope we see this crossover again. I think they could have introduced them earlier in the movie.

Watching this movie, with every seat full and the whole cinema laughing at every inside joke and screaming as every character was revealed was honestly such a special experience. Knowing you’re all there with the same love for the material, knowing you’ve all watched every film multiple times. Amazing.
I know what you mean dude! Endgame was a nice way to experience the Infinity Saga with many people who shared that same journey. But NWH was a celebration of near 20 year Spider-Man journey in films where we finally get to see Tom’s Peter Parker become Spider-Man!
Ugh how I wish it was the same for my country. They fucked it up here, prioritizing the stupid "Mainstream" repeated local film festival. Take note: Our language was even featured in the movie, but our country doesn't even show this film yet.

I have a question if you don’t mind? If peter’s suit records everything could he not just show a video of him to strange, Ned, happy, and mj about everything they been through. Yes it wouldn’t change anything realistically but at least they could know that part of their life that is missing and if they want to continue relationships with each other they could.
I didn't like much of Garfields movies, they make him look like the typical bad boy American high school student but in this movie he was good really enjoy watching him.

Garfield’s Spider-Man catching MJ was such a unique moment. His acting was phenomenal and hit me hard knowing that it was a nod to him not being able to save Gwen. One of my favorite moments.
The writers really knew what they were doing with this film given fans theorized this as soon as they saw the trailer.

They were definitely making a reference to real life, and I can't imagine how Andrew Garfield must have felt during this entire experience of going back to play Spider-man again. I really can't wait to hear him talk about it. He really stole the screen. He is very special.

I really love how both Tom and Tobey were saying "you're Amazing" to Andrew when Andrew considered himself "lame" compared to the other Spider-men. It's a metaphor of how most people consider the Amazing Spider-man movies to be bad compared to the other spider-man movies. And Tom and Tobey are like "no they are Amazing". 😁

But some people tend to criticize the Amazing Spider-man movies plus The Amazing Spider-man movies are the worst rated Spider-man movies out there for some reason. I definitely caught the Amazing Spider-Man subtle meaning in them calling him Amazing lol. So danged clever, and a meta reference done so well 😛
I grew up with Tobey and Andrew, but Andrew has been my favorite since. Seeing how his movies were the least liked compared to the three was always disappointing. I loved this reference, telling him that HE is AMAZING, because he truly is. I really loved that. This movie gave him the justice that he deserved and I am now fully content and satisfied.

When May said the famous line right before her death, I realised that THATS why this hadn’t yet felt like the authentic Spider-Man we all know and love yet. He needed this movie and these events to shape him into Spidey. I think he’s finally there.

He might not be the best Spider-Man but Garfield is the best performer, his face when he saved MJ stole the show for me. The relief he felt was palpable and we knew he was redeemed. 10/10 movie for me, wasn’t overstuffed and everyone got their chance to shine.

On a side note, can we appreciate Tom's acting in the movie? His crying scenes made my heart beat fast. It was incredible how he portrayed so much with only his expressions. Hats off Tom, and the ENTIRE cast!

Man, what a character development! He is finally shares the personality traits with the OG Spiderman characters since life forced it on him. Tom Holland's acting was phenomenal!

I found it to be a pretty funny meta commentary on how the Andrew Garfield movies aren't really favourited or liked by most Spider-Man fans. I liked the movies though, he is amazing.
That was so meta, being that he was sad as an actor to have his trilogy cut and “amazing.” So sweet.
I absolutely loved how Tobey portrayed his version of Spidey. It’s a natural continuation of his dorky yet charmingly genuine and meek Peter Parker, exuding so much wisdom and experience. While Andrew had the most lines and was the most energetically outgoing, Tobey killed every scene with him in it. Especially when he stopped Tom’s Spidey from killing Goblin, and just stares back at him without saying anything.
All three Spider-Men were given so much love and all three were given the spotlight. Fantastic movie.

Tobey being the oldest and the wisest among the three, Andrew the second brother who always care not only about his brothers, but also keep in check his little brother's girlfriend safety (afraid what happened to him would happen to his little brother too). and there's Tom as the youngest and the most chatter of all the three, he just can't help but got curious of everything about his two older brothers.

My man, I can't even believe I'm saying this but thank you Marvel/Sony for doing the Spiderman movies right. Not only I was I hating Tom Holland Spiderman they literally changed my mind with this movie. They fixed the issue with the Tobey and Andrew Spiderman movies where the villains died. Instead they did exactly what Spiderman would do which was save them. This movie had so much nostalgia for me and it looked like Tobey hadn't missed a day. The costume literally brought back memories of Sam Rami's Spiderman when it first came out.

They also put it again when he meets doc again, definitely almost me cry from the nostalgia. I've been desperately waiting to see if Toby would ever come back as spider man in anyway for the mcu. I don't think Peter left MJ and Ned alone because they seemed "happier", I think he just thought that that was not the time. Making them remember will be a slow process, and for now, that's all he could do. I believe he will try to make them remember. After all, he promised he would. I refuse to believe that MJ and Ned will never remember Peter Parker.

Underrated opinion here. William Defoe did the best acting in the movie. His voice, his eyes, facial expression, it was brilliant.
My only criticism of the movie is that I would have loved more Dafoe. The only villain better is Heath Ledger's joker IMO.

The best scene for me among the countless others was when Andrew saved MJ and then breaks down. That scene was sooo powerful, he had been denying in the movie that he had no time for such things, and when MJ fell down, it was deja vu, and redeemed himself. I know it's probably not gonna happen but I really really wish that they somehow bring Andrew's and Tobey's spiderman more and have them interact with Tom's Spiderman.
Maybe one or two will make a surprise appearance in Multiverse of Madness

Andrew Garfield's performace had incredible depth. I really felt for him. You could tell his Spider-man has been through a lot and has lots of pain.
Yeah, I had to admit, this movie really raised all three of them up.
Tobey didn't need as much raising as we had seen much of his character arc, and a now older, more mature Tobey, took the lead in helping guide Tom to not take the dark path that he had gone down at times, and he even stopped him from making a decision he'd regret because of his anger and vengeance. He reminded him what all of them and their loved ones stood for. Spider Man doesn't kill. He helps people, and now they had the chance to save their own villains.
Andrew showed so much emotion and love for his two counterparts. He had gone through so much and feeling so much regret that he was tempted to never put his mask back on. "I've always wanted brothers..." "I love you guys!" Saving another Peter's MJ. He would have never done that had he given up before instead of fighting on as Spider Man like Gwen would have wanted him to. Now he had two other Peters that he could relate to. He wasn't alone anymore in that regard.
Tom felt like a kid before, with zero consequences to his actions and often naiive decisions, wanting to find the easiest way out and often not thinking things through, and now there were consequences. He gave up the ultra important glasses to someone he barely knew because his story seemed plausible, which lead to him wanting to just erase peoples' memories everywhere, to wantonly adding to an already incredibly dangerous spell on the spur of the moment, having not even trying to reach out to MIT beforehand, and you can see that this carelessness lead to grave consequences which he has to live with the regret of. When Aunt May died, he had no more family, so these two other Peters coming into his life made sense. They were like him, understood him deeply, but knew that without guidance, he may go down a dark path. Tobey stopped him, and Andrew saved his MJ. I would have liked for Tom to thank Andrew for that. Either way, Tom felt like he was ready to make the ultimate sacrifice because at this point, he had to take responsibility and not find another shortcut, making the only choice that could save their universe. Even deciding to forgo just getting his friends involved again and work as the silent protector, felt more mature and more like Spider Man.
In other words, this movie was awesome, and I loved every Spider Man even more from it.
Andrew Garfield was insane! I hope they somehow do something with him again as Spider-Man 🕷

I thought the memory wipe was a cop-out by the writers. Memory wiping characters is a lazy writing trope. No need to worry about continuity and the arcs of every character when you can just memory wipe everyone and reset everything with no effort.

One thing I noticed that broke my heart was that Peter had a GED book at the end, meaning he basically has to start from scratch schoolwise too - which is also clearly something that has always been super important for him. Makes sense though, since he never actually graduated if he never existed

This movie has the perfect ending due to the character arcs of each and every single character of the movie. It’s like throughout the movie the characters got their closure one by one. First it was Doc Ock, then Sandman, Lizard, Electro and finally Green Goblin. Goblin’s being the most heartbreaking as he truly cared for Peter and saw him as his son. Watt’s starts out with the villains getting cured because it makes Aunt May’s message absolutely clear. She really believed in something and her faith really did help someone. Then finally we see the heroes gain their redemption. I love the fact that they start with Andrew because the amount of hate he got when he was casted was something Tobey never experienced and Tom didn’t face in the same stature. The fact that the Spider-Man’s show him support and hype him up really represents the fans who liked him since his casting. It also gives him the boost and confidence to save MJ. The redemption he was always craved. He got to save Tom’s MJ which must have made Gwen so proud. Then we see Tobey sacrifice himself to save Peter’s innocence, integrity and his Uncle Ben’s message. Tobey knows the cost of revenge and was ready to sacrifice his life to save Tom from the suffering he endured. Tobey also saves Green Goblin which he always wished to do as he was a mentor to him. Tobey’s redemption not only saved the hero of the movie but also revived the hero in the villain. And finally Tom received his redemption; although painful he sacrifices everything. If we think about it his ending fixed everything wrong we found with Holland’s Spider-Man. He lost both May and Ben Parker along with Ironman. He lost all his mentors and his friends to save the the world. He truly escaped Ironman’s shadow and matured. Tom’s Spider-Man ended up having the most difficult and darkest past to create his own identity and learn his responsibilities. Aunt May truly saved “everyone” by saving “someone”. It really was the perfect ending.
Only the uneducated, delusional people think this movie was good when clearly it wasn’t. This movie is a 👎👎👎. Only in Kevin Feige’s dumb little mind that Spider-Man can beat Dr.Strange in dr.strange own dimension when we all really know that dr.strange is way more powerful than Spider-Man. Also, Dr.Strange can make Spider-Man not escape from him without even trying especially in his own dimension. Don’t y’all see what’s going on here? Kevin Feige is slowly nerfing marvel characters. Andrew, in a way, gets a second chance to save Gwen and Tobey, in a way, gets a second chance to forgive Uncle Ben’s supposed killer and also to save Norman, his best friends dad. So cool that Tobey was able to look into Toms eyes and teach him to forgive because he knew that revenge didn’t make anything better.
Honestly tho after Spider-Man 3 and TASM2 I never thought that Tobey and Andrew would return to the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man again. No Way Home was like Sony's apology to the fans for how they treated both actors and got rid of em after their final appearances in their respective movies.
My biggest complain with Tom's Spiderman was that it seemed like he had it easy compared to Tobey and Andrew but the ending of this movie was so cruel and made me understand and appreciate his arc better

I LOVED the ending of this movie. Peter on his own in his small apartment making his own suit. THAT is Spider-Man. A simple man who had a simple life but was bitten by a radioactive spider and now has the responsibility of the world in his hands. Can’t wait for what Tom has in store for the future.

This movie really solidified the fact that Andrew Garfield deserved at least another Spider-man movie of his own. Just with very limited screen time, you can clearly see that with the right script, he is THE BEST SPIDERMAN we will ever get to see on the big screen and thats no disrespect to Tobey and Tom at all. We all love them. But you can sense that Andrew really gives his heart out every time he puts on the red and blue suit and clearly is hardcore Spider-man fan as well which makes his acting just natural to a sense. I hope I am not only speaking for myself but we really need to see him become our friendly neighborhood Spider-man again.

there’s a theory circulating around that he’ll probably get another movie because in the morbius trailer there’s graffiti on a wall of spider-man that says murderer under it and as andrew garfield’s spider-man said that he stopped pulling his punches leads people to believe that the graffiti is referring to him and also the suit the spider-man in the graffiti is wearing is very similar to andrews suit

Something that caught me by surprise was how the impacts of this movie were handled, both physical and emotional. Fights had a lot of weight and power behind them! Also, the scene where Andrew saves MJ is my favorite MCU scene now. So impactful
for me the scene where tom's peter parker chose not to help MJ or his friend to remember him is the most impactful one. IT shows that peter has grown up and have responsibility with his decision. He knows that if he made them remember then his suphero thing wil bring dangers to them so he chose to leave his past and move on.
It got real emotional when SM 3 saved MJ and broke down. That was such a great moment.

For me personally this movie was better than endgame. I literally grew up watching the Spider-Man movies especially Tobeys so seeing both of them return was like seeing my entire childhood come right back to me. Both me and my cinema erupted into chaos when all 3 Spider-Man met. It was beautiful.

They’re just already responsible & experienced & almost perfect which Peter isn’t in the least.

My favorite part was when Toby is fighting sand man in the statue of liberty and they put the original Rami ost. They also put it again when he meets doc again, definitely almost me cry from the nostalgia. I've been desperately waiting to see if Toby would ever come back as spider man in anyway for the mcu. Seeing this actually happen just made my eyes water up.
For me, the most emotional scene was when Andrew Garfield saved MJ and he just stood there so emotional and MJ asking him if he was okay was so wholesome!!

I see that a lot of people don't like that everyone forgot who Spiderman was. I think this is phenomenal character development from a naive teen spiderman to a young adult spiderman. This signifies maturity and a sense of going back to the root of Spiderman's origins. Not some kid with the weight of stark industries on his shoulders or the benefits of being an avenger. He's back to being your friendly neighborhood spiderman.
On another note, I absolutely loved Andrew Garfield's Spiderman in this movie. He was incredible.

The “cool youth pastor” line was probably the one that got the biggest laugh out of me (although I laughed throughout this whole movie - I think funnier than Ragnarok). I had been thinking the whole time “wow Tobey is dressed like a hip Dad” so that line threw me. I LOVED this movie!!

NEVER thought I'd see a better Spidey film than Raimi's Spider-Man 2 but No Way Home has truly raised the bar in a way that probably won't be topped for another 17 years
ikr. Until this afternoon, Spider-Man 2 was hands-down my favorite superhero movie of all time. As a spidey fan they nailed everything.
I'd have to go back and rewatch- I think SM2 is still my favorite, but after this it's going to be a photo finish to figure it out.
One thing's for sure, Alfred Molina and Tobey Maguire are both in 2 of my all-time superhero movies.

When we first see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man, it was amazing. When we see Tobey Maguire's, it take you back to when you were kids (and you get excited like one). When Garfield's Spidey said he wasn't much and they called him Amazing, that was so sick. When Electro says he expected Spider-Man to be black (Miles Morales) we loved it. When ALL THREE SPIDER-MEN were web slinging on screen? OH MY WORD. It was beautiful.
And all the interactions between the Spideys were so good. So cool to see on screen in live action.
Also when Osbourne said, "I'm something of a Scientist myself." Oh, man. Fan service throughout the whole move to such a truly epic level.
and seeing Matt Murdoc as Peters lawyer was a nice touch, especially after the recent Hawkeye episode, disney+ did introduce something again that came out with the movie, like force heal in the mandalorian and then the same day/week with latest starwars

The moment where my theatre started to realise Andrew Garfield came out everyone in my theatre was freaking out and when he opened his mask everyone was cheering and when Tobey Maguire came out they cheered again and that was the first time in my life when everyone cheered and I will never forget this moment and feeling and this film is the best marvel film yet

Got such Peter B. Parker vibes from Tobey. It was also so great to see how well they got along, how they supported each other. The moment where Tobey stops Tom from killing the Goblin…that constant eye contact, the way Tobey somehow put so much love and compassion and understanding into his eyes and body language without saying a word…masterful acting and an emotional moment I’ve only seen a few people mention.

Literally the only thing I was annoyed about was the after credit scene where Venom was placed into the mcu ONLY for the symbiote to be left. I feel like they could've done that differently with the same end result. It just felt very pump and dump of a character Kevin Feige was praising just a couple days ago. Hopefully they do somehow bring him back, that was my only flaw.

So if the hivemind theory of the symbiote is true, than Eddie Brock from Raimi's Spiderman 3 is the reason Tom Hardy's Venom shows up here. I loved seeing Tobey as like a older Spider-Man with more experience and the other Spider-Man's talking about his organic webs. I also loved seeing Andrew and redeeming himself. I cried when they were all swinging together. Andrew was a good Spider-Man and deserved a chance to put on the suit one more time. I hope we see this crossover again. I think they could have introduced them earlier in the movie.

Watching this movie, with every seat full and the whole cinema laughing at every inside joke and screaming as every character was revealed was honestly such a special experience. Knowing you’re all there with the same love for the material, knowing you’ve all watched every film multiple times. Amazing.
