Okay, so, here me out. Instead of dying "losing the will to live" or whatever it is, Padme had complications during childbirth precisely because of the way she landed in point 9.
@@SeanWheeler100 doesn't matter how she survived the fall, that kind of a drop *should* do lasting damage *somewhere*. It's basic physics. She didn't float down, she fell, she impacted hard, it would have smashed up her cooch.
It's a running gag in the clone wars animated series. They all try to "pass the buck" to their commanders only to be field promoted when their commander is destroyed... which makes them the new target. This joke plays out many different ways, kinda like, "I have a bad feeling about this" in the movies
@@Doomted90 Didnt watch that show. I don't like how they change everything. I especially hate, the clone chips, spider Maul, Mandalorians, Anakin having an orange waifu mistress, giving clones different personality for no reason, Ventress a witch, etc.
Watch the clip. Anakin raises his hand towards Padme before she jumps and, even though she looks nervous, she does. He WAS using the force to slow her down.
I thought so! But also, even if he hadn't there would be another factor that could've made it feasible: different planets have different gravity. A 20 ft drop on the moon would be like a 3.6ish ft drop on Earth. Seems to me the planet with the humanoid insects that can fly would likely be a lower gravity one... 🤷
@@ZombieWilfred That would seem like a reasonable hypothesis, but we still had bad guys falling at near Earth gravity. Padme did look nervous before she jumped. Besides, there's also a perfectly breathable atmosphere, which would mean near-Earth. You see, I thought of these things. Still, it's a good hypothesis.
I love when you make these lists. They're so hilarious most of what's on these lists 😂 keep em coming please and I'll watch. Thank you so much and may the force be with you always.
My most jarring Star Wars moment of the last years was when I realized that people in videos aren't calling him Chief Palpatine, but that his name is Sheev Palpatine.🤯🤯🤯
General Grievous is not a Droid. He is a Cyborg. You can tell because his eyes, his brain and his lungs appear to be all that remains of his humanoid form. When you think about it, that also makes Darth Vader a cyborg as well.
I gotta make a correction. It's pronounced "Hai-Lai", not "Jai-Alai". I don't know where it comes from, but it's a high-paced sport that gets a lot of bets placed on the games (and can seriously injure the players). The item in Annie's room is from a toy version that actually lets you put some spin on the ball so it "bends" as it flies through the air. There was a toy called "Track-Ball" that you could actually throw DOWN at the ground, and the ball would end up flying upwards because of the spin. Lot's of fun back in the day!
It's mostly Latin American now (and played in Florida - I first saw it on Miami Vice). The name is Spanish, so yes, it should be pronounced with an H sound. Unless Brits insist on pronouncing it using English rules instead of the rules of the language it comes from (e.g. herb, valet, etc), in which case he'd be pronouncing it correct, "for a Brit."
General Grievous scene- was distracted in that scene by the giant block of metal that Kenobi drops on Grevious' bodyguards but then disappears when they back through the hangar
There is a clip of Ewan rocking side to side and laughing as if mocking the movement he had to make...Those two battle droids in Atack of the Clones though LOL😄
To add the moment Obi-Wan dropped off Luke was actually shot during Episode 2 since that was the only shot with the actors playing uncle Owen and aunt Beru.
@@SeanWheeler100 they used McGregor's double for the episode II shot and it apparently was a hand off to Owen at first not Beru. McGregor shot his part later for ROTS
This was a bit of a scraping the bottom of the barrel video, with enthusiastic commentary which makes it out to be the best thing ever. Couldn't quite get to the end.
The Padme issue is actually a nearly universal liberty movies and shows take; Anyone can survive a fall from any height if whatever they land on intended to catch them, be it a mount, a vehicle, even a giant robot's solid metal hand, if it's trying to catch them then suddenly physics don't apply :P
The Padme one is something I noticed immediately as a youngling haha. I remember nudging my grandad and asking how the heck did that not break her bones haha
Honestly, I think my brain turned off while watching the movie because I completely failed to realize how impossible it was. Also probably why I remained impressed by it and only had a vague "bad feeling" about it until so many people started criticizing it.
@@k3digichaos it is never stated that she is force sensitive. that was just something i thought might be a reasonable way to explain how she did not break any bones.

Honestly I think none of us looked at the whole of Star Wars the same way again after the first prequel in its entirety! (If not the Special Editions back in '97.)
That wasn't a Jai-Alai racket, it was a toy called "track-ball" that was similar to badminton, but could allow users to make the ball curve in flight by spinning it.

There was one in revenge of the sith that's really hard to spot but no one has noticed in the mace office fight palp is using Anakin hilt with red blade,
Padme had obviously been doing her "Buns of Steel" DVD prior to this.
'Minge of Steel' more like
Wouldn't complain either way
Number of comments correcting the pronunciation of Hai Alai: 42,782 and rising.
And the funny thing is it still is incorrect. We always called it “Hi-lie” back when I lived in Florida.
