Radahn has been my most hardcore experience in this kind of game. Been playing Dark Souls since early 2012 but I never was into no hit runs and challenges. However, when I got to the DLC in Elden Ring, I felt it quite easy so decided to not use Scadutree fragments. I don't regret doing so, but bosses were harder than any base game fight. 70% of combinations of any boss would two-shot me. The rest would three-shot me. Radahn was superlative, he two-shots me at fase 2, and deleted me with long combos if amy mistake, so I had to master his moveset. It was so much fun to do so, though (excluding the 1-2-X). Never had fought a boss with so much info processing. Oh, and it was a long fight: having no Scadutree blessings led to me doing shitty damage. I used the scarlet rot rapier +24 to counter this situation. Around 8 hits would poison him in phase 1. Then I switched to base game claws +25, 10 hits would bloodloss him and get me into phase 2 (I tried so many times I nohitted the first phase quite often hahaha). Same with phase 2. Here, poisoning him with scarlet rot was way harder, cause its resistance is increased w.r.t. first phase. I needed 15-20 hits to poison him, since many of his attacks are so long and you cannot hit him while on it. Then switched to claws again. I estimated the number of hits I needed to beat him in the winning attempt in total: around 70 at least. Yeah, that's a long fight, with many dodges. But it was cool to learn to maximize the attack windows in phase 2. This brings the best of many of us Soulsborne players in terms of capability hahaha.
I didnt take this many tries my first time but I did feel that same way: that nothing else in this game or the DLC fully prepares you for what fighting Radahn will be like. Not the harder DLC bosses with their neverending combos, not even Malenia. Promised Consort Radahn took me 3x as many attempts as Malenia, and with Malenia I never had to fundamentally change my build or playstyle to really start making progress, I just executed a strategy until it worked. With Radahn I did have to change gear and try different things, especially focusing on high defenses. Nothing else in the game has quite this level of speed, aggressiveness, damage output, powerful attacks, gap closing moves and lethal combos. There are some builds that can be very effective in this fight and some ppl have figured out ways to make it a lot easier, but just walking through this fog gate for the first time with the gear & playstyle you've been using thinking it's gonna be like any other tough Elden Ring boss... it does not feel like that at all.
First thing I always try to figure out with a From boss is "is this a dodge left or right" boss. Most attacks seem to favor one side. Like night and day when I finally get it right. Find Radahn to be a "dodge right" boss. Timed dodges to the right help avoid damage. Hard to get attack openings, but the big multi-slam can for sure be avoided by going right a few times in a row.

I tried this boss for two or three days with three different builds before I finally gave up and switched to the turtling build with the fingerprint shield and a rapier. Even then it took me a few more hours before I could beat him.
Pst flowverse ill let you in on a secret: Get the golden braid, fingerprint/vedigris shield, scholars armament, a rapier like the stitcher or any spear/great spear with bleed on it. Activate scholars armament, get up to his face poke him to death and bleed proc him. Use the turtle if you need better stamina regen. Then you're golden.
If you feel bad about yourself not being able to beat Radahn. If at this point the only thing that matters is killing him and move on. You can simply choose dark side and leap into abyss of cheese by using fingerprint shield with antspur rapier with blood affinity. But be wary if you kill him like this first time there won't be another way coming back to normal. My first playthrough I beat him that way on NG+7 and even though after some practice i beat him with parry only. I still regret that I didn't kill him normal without cheese first time..
Bro, I changed my class around 10 times to figure out which would be the best to take him on solo so I could drop my summon sign and help others. Only one other boss made me this frustrated, and it wasn't even a main boss. It was a cursed chalice dungeon boss that you fight a darkbeast with halved health and he just one shots you lol. I know you don't use a shield, but that helped me win this fight solo.
My man. Let me give you some help. I don't know if you want it or not or if you know this stuff but want to suggest it anyway: Make sure you got 20 scadu level, trust me it's worth it. When Radahn does his meteor attack, run to the side as he throws them and jump the same direction for an almost 100% dodge chance. His cross slash attack he does when he crosses his arms and swings is bugged and the first strike almost always hits you, roll into him when he does the double outward slash to avoid and let you get a hit in. If you see him use his gravity pull attack dodge roll to avoid it, if he catches you he will always follow up with the downward attack that summons the spikes, run and jump back to avoid it. When he does his jumping spin attack, always pause for a moment to check if he will do a second, there's no real tell but it's always a threat so it's better to wait a moment then strike afterwards. His ground shockwave attack that throws up rubble has a jank hitbox that can hit you in a roll, it's best to either roll towards and around to his back or jump back out of it if he does it. In phase two, most of his attacks are the same, don't be afraid of the light show, so long as you dodge his swings you'll avoid most of them, hug his body and roll to the side to avoid them. His afterimage attack that comes after a meteor in phase 2 is his most annoying attack, you can dodge to the left and time it to avoid the strikes then dodge his final strike and light attack, count from 1 to 4 where you dodge on one, pause on two then dodge again on 3 and 4. So 1 (pause) 3,4. The other 2 afterimage attacks he does aren't as bad, the long sweeping strike one is easily dodged with 2 dodges and a 3rd to avoid the light attack, and the one he does where he speeds across the arena is almost never an issue. The attack he does when raising his swords in a cross over his head is easily dodged by just rolling around him hugging his body, the only attack you gotta watch out for is the final aoe light explosion. It's not guaranteed, but if you keep about a body length distance away from him you can sometimes bait him into doing his grab attack, best change to get some damage in. Hope these help.
It looks like his cross slash is not bugged haha, its just a bs move, it is dodgable tho, its easier with light load, if you try to stay in his right side and dodge to his right he misses and you dodge the second attack
@@sonicmaster047 its super inconsistent, although if you remember a certain person that goes by the alias "let me solo her", well he is "let me solo them" right now and hes been helping people with radahn and hes able to dodge everything, if you want to see you can go to his channel

YES I thought we'd have to wait for a while for this one. Glad this came out earlier than expected.
This was glorious lmfaoooo absolute GOLD😂😂😂😂 I promise you I went thru the same rage lmao! At one point I really thought it was impossible lmao
I tried this boss for two or three days with three different builds before I finally gave up and switched to the turtling build with the fingerprint shield and a rapier. Even then it took me a few more hours before I could beat him.
Crashout Lord Floverse Arc has arrived
Little did he know that he would be breaking his controller for black myth wukong
I always love how your content feels more relatable, compared to other creators who breeze through. Also, dont worry about being embarrased xD
You can do it. Just remember to never dodge backwards, always in, and run immediatley on his holy blast and 1/3rd health comet and you’ve got it 🎉
Bro, I changed my class around 10 times to figure out which would be the best to take him on solo so I could drop my summon sign and help others. Only one other boss made me this frustrated, and it wasn't even a main boss. It was a cursed chalice dungeon boss that you fight a darkbeast with halved health and he just one shots you lol. I know you don't use a shield, but that helped me win this fight solo.
I only defeated him with a shield and bleeding. So, you already have all my admiration to bringing him so low life. Take care bro. You will get this.
My man. Let me give you some help. I don't know if you want it or not or if you know this stuff but want to suggest it anyway:
Make sure you got 20 scadu level, trust me it's worth it.
@@rinzler1767 beaten this man three times and could never get that dodge down on the first swing 😂
@@sonicmaster047 its super inconsistent, although if you remember a certain person that goes by the alias "let me solo her", well he is "let me solo them" right now and hes been helping people with radahn and hes able to dodge everything, if you want to see you can go to his channel
Imagine how much more tuff the opening cutscene would be if you didn’t fight radahn in the base game and everything built up to this fight
That death at 27:30 was devastating. Even my heart was racing.
Ah yes, the almost prime Radahn effect.
We've all been there mate, you'll get him.
It took me 2 or 3 days, this one is insane. The only other boss that had me do that was Isshin, difference was that I actually enjoyed the fight and didn't mind taking my time lol.
You can actually dodge his light attack with raptors of the mist which is super nice cuz then you get a heal opportunity
Hear me boys, what about radahn riding bayle and you have to kill them both
Most epic boss fight ever
I love watching you videos, makes me laugh because it reminds me of myself playing ER
FromSoftware: Ansbach
Floverse: ENSCHBECK
I had the same problem as you. I would no hit phase 1 and get 1 shot phase 2. I eventually got it. You will too 💪
Took me a week to beat this guy, absolute torture, but nothing beats feeling you get during a FromSoft boss fight..Mink is my new fave saying 😂
I've been playing the DLC, taking my sweet time, and every time I click on your videos, I'm always in the same spot as you. I just reached Enir-Illim on mine. Lol 😂
21:07 DID RADAHN JUST PANIC ROLL?😂😂
I feel the rage. It's like watching myself when I went through this boss.
As a guy who fought radahn on ng+ 30 something, this man oneshot me with every attack even with max vigor and a health build. It was truly a hard yet awarding fight
Care if I ask you some questions
@@collind7158 sure, tho the game stops getting harder around ng+7
8:20 - it was at this moment he knew he fucked up
30:10 was your best run, if you had dodged his grab it was game over for him hah :D
😂😂😂😂 bro i love this. THIS is how I felt for FOUR DAYS! Bro is crashing out like Afro. Lmao
Day 1 of asking floverse to continue the witcher 3 series
"Promised Crash-Out" is crazy 😂
Yooo amazing video, what Drip his Character wearing. Any armor names?
dude i remember one time i was 2 hits away and she grabbed me and stole my heart.... i nerver been so pissed in my life!
There is a miquella’s rune in the game where if you use it after the first time you get grabbed by him, it removes that charm over your head and then you are good to go
2:05 hitting me off the map, trying to embarrass me bro 😂😂😂 i had to subscribe just cause of that
HAHAH i love the pain :D You have to try getting hugged twice though :D i know YOU will love it 🤣
there are ways to cheese him, but it's up to you if you want to fight him your own way or the cheese way (hint: shield poke)
don't worry, no one will judge, because everyone even the most elitist snobs got humbled hard by this boss
I spent less then 30 minutes on the Radahn fight, I found it rather easy. Other fights took me so many more attempts. I struggled much more with Bayle and Messmer.
At around the 21 minute mark I could feel your pain and desperation.
Hot Tip, there’s a mechanic in game that you can freely use called Spirit Summoning. Don’t complain when purposefully ignoring core parts of the game.
Some people just don't want to use summons. It's the same way people don't want to spend hours on bosses and summon friends. The game lets you play how you want.
Radahn is wild. It took about 12 hours to beat this guy thats insane.
But i think i learned to fight him solid.
Heavy fight for sure 😂
9:00 300k runes flew out the window 🤣🤣🤣
