I grew up in a village far away from the city, which was completely off the grid; there was no electricity or TV until I finished primary school. Over time, the village slowly developed, but I had to move to a different country to complete my medical education and become a doctor. After graduating, I got a job there and lived alone until I returned home just before COVID-19. I haven't been able to go back since because the country I was living in had very strict policies, and I couldn’t get permanent residency. I have subscribed to your channel and watched every single video you've uploaded since the beginning. Your videos make me feel like you are living the life I once had, and the things you explain resonate with my thoughts. Not to mention, you look like someone I always adored, who left me for reasons I could never understand. Since then, my mental health has been somewhat like yours, and I've struggled. However, I realized that living a life I need and enjoy is the most valuable thing on earth. Chasing something that causes stress can lead to severe sickness, from which it’s hard to recover. I'm glad you've found time to stay there, and I hope you use that valuable time to come up with something for the future. Congrats! It's definitely a path to citizenship if you are allowed to be a resident for 3 years. I was born in Germany from Canadian parents and had the opportunity to declare residency at age 18 but this opportunity expired without my knowledge.

These visa applications and the uncertainty can be so stressful. I feel so lucky to have lived and worked on 5 continents without worrying about visas. Diplomatic visas are granted automatically. I am so glad that Germany opened the door for you. You are a great addition to the country population.

I remember when I was doing my Australian visa and then doing my permanent residency was so emotional, its such a big thing as understandable to be where you want to live and with someone you want to be with, its an amazing emotional feeling when you get your visa ect..... im so happy for you and my heart glows knowing you will be fine and be able to stay together in your home and enjoy an exciting life...... and just so you know I got my visa and then my permanent residency and now im an Australian citizen. its a lot of hard work, took a lot of time and even expense but sooooooooo worth it. congratulations to you Maddie xxxxx
