I love what you said about motivation. I always say it's the difference between motivation and determination. You aren't always going to feel motivated, but you can be determined to reach your goals and that is what keeps you going.

The thing about drinking a gallon of water a day is that you’re not supposed to drink a whole gallon in one sitting, or even 24oz in one sitting. You’re supposed to slowly drink it through t the day, otherwise it makes you sluggish and full which makes sense why you felt that way

I’m on day 8! I feel like the hardest part for me is going to be just the everyday of it all. All of the tasks are easy right? But everyday?! I always thought I was mentally strong but here I am realizing I’m wrong about that! Haha
I have been trying to prepare for the 75 hard challenge, I really want to get my sleep schedule on track before I start because I would need to wake up at 5 to get my first workout in for the day. 😂😂(I normally wake up at 6-7)
I think the progress photo everyday is dumb. I understand his purpose behind it - consistency - but it can also be super deflating if you are already in a bad place mentally. I chose to only take one every 15 days. If that means I failed based on the rules, that is okay. But I added in a 45 min meditation everyday on top of the other rules, so figured I made up for it with that
I choose to do the medium but I realise I juste do the hard one but if I don't do it outside it's fine if I still do my 15000 steps. And no pictures because I know I'll always be comparing both and it'll be bad for my mental health. And just want to read 10 pages. Don't care what kind of books. Just want to read
Also, the guy who designed the challenge had other guys in mind. I don't think adapting this bit to women's bodies crossed anyone's mind at any point. I am a big woman and I still don't think a gallon is in any way reasonable even for me. Other parts of challenge are 👍🏻👍🏻e.g. sugar and alcohol are bad for everyone.

The nonfiction book thing is so stupid because what you're supposed to read isn't nonfiction. Its opinion. Non fiction would be like, a history or science book. Pseudoscience isnt nonfiction. Evolutionary psychology is pseudoscience. If you like that stuff its fine, but its not necessarily enriching.
You did a great job but didn’t complete 75 hard. You completed 75 soft. You also seemed to have missed the point of the challenge. The challenge isn’t about weight loss or superficial goals. And having inconvenient, seemingly pointless, rules such as one workout inside and one outside serves an overall purpose. I highly recommend listening to Andy Frisella speak about why he created this challenge to be this way ❤ you did an excellent job though and it’s very inspiring to see.
