Matthew, congratulations on your return! They obviously really like you and the quality of your work. I look forward to hearing from you with updates whenever you are able to do them.
Hi Matt, glad to see you back in Yachting! Also glad there is still a slight chance to work under you ;) When I was starting to inform myself about the industry I watched a lot of your videos (Deck series/ CV/ Dockwalking…). About 2 years later, I just joined my second boat which is also heading to the SoF soon! Thank you for your videos I wouldn’t be where I am now without them and I hope you get what you are seeking from your position!
Thanks for this feedback! It's great to hear from crew members who have benefitted from these videos. Wishing you all the best on the new yacht. Maybe see you in the south of France!
Brilliant news on your return, looking forward to seeing more action onboard. Enjoy your weekend in the snow! I am also away working on the jet for both Christmas and New Year, so had my "Christmas" last weekend at home with the family. Travel safe!
Hi Matthew, Im a deckhand currently located in the Philippines. Would like to know if theres any opening perhaps for me to work on. Through out the years I’ve been studying your videos and writing down notes on what to do. Would love to have the opportunity to work on a yacht.
As someone who has lived somewhere my whole life where we have two month long springs, summers and falls, and six month long winters, I've never understood people who 'enjoy' winter weather.
I lived for ten years in a place which had about five months of winter, and I still love winter weather and loved it all the way through my time there. I don't think how much time you spend in it necessarily affects your fondness -- you are either the type of person who likes it or you aren't.
Matthew. Sometimes to go backward to go forward. Like you said an old friend..the place where you started. Inspiration comes in the oddest ways.
Nice to see you back to Channel Mattthew
Hi Matt. Glad to get the update!
