“and breathe” 😹😹 aw bless him.
Ngl this literally happened to me yesterday on my first lesson ahaha
@@aleksssss aw bless you too. There is no rush hey. You are learning and allowed to make mistakes when you start (not that you are, I wouldn’t know, hope you get me😅). You’ll get better as time goes on. All the very best w. your driving journey 🫶🏽✨

Now that’s a good teacher
That’s what I was gonna say! There was no ridicule just support and instruction.
Indeed
Its not. He doesnt know why hes putting it neutral or handbrakijg or why he can release
@@koen4261 he could have gone over this already and the kid driving for the first time may have been panicking a little. I could be wrong but he seems stressed and I wouldn't put it past him to forget a few things whilst he's stressed in what he may feel is a daunting task
@@koen4261 But he knows about neutral now doesn't he, smartass?
“I pressed it, too much”

“And breathe” best advice
😂😂😂annnnnnnnd breath
“Then breathe” is the most calming thing in the video
This is a very good teacher. My dad used to use another technique of shaming and anger but made through eventually.
i was so close to missing a turn but my dad took the wheel and forced it right and almost felt like i was gonna flip the car and he still had the audacity to get mad at me for it
Oh yea I heard of that technique
warning ⚠️ there is a monumental rant below about how i feel the universe is against me when i'm trying to learn how to drive. if you don't like reading entire essays (it's really fkn long) then i suggest u skip it. if u like seeing people suffer and want to meet themselves off a cliff, then well fuck u and enjoy ig🤷
istg the universe pointed this comment(original comment) specifically towards me for fucks sake. i feel like smashing my head on the fkn steering wheel. the amount of frustration and stress building up everytime i go out for a session. the worst thing is hes not even taking the learning slowly. he made me drive in actual fkn traffic and on 3 lane main roads *on my first day of driving* and has the audacity to get mad at me when i stall multiple times and nearly crash?!?!?!?!
not to mention yelling 3 different things at me at once and then getting mad when i miss one of those things out and/or dont do all of those things in perfect and rapid succession????
it sounds like im just blaming everything on him but so much shit is just out of my control that he expects me to just casually take into perfect consideration.
first off for context im in india for vacation so theres *so much damn traffic* that the only times i can go out to learn is past midnight, so not only am i tired at the start of all our sessions, im fucking sleep deprived the morning after we come back at 2am coz im stressed asf and barely get any sleep. *and even at that ungodly hour* there are still wannabe lewis hamiltons and valentino *fucking* rossis pulling these inside overtakes out their asses and road raging at me when im not going triple the fkn speed limit. i cant even fucking drive at night in peace god damnit. not to mention these roads are absolutely god fucking awful. theyre at such steep inclines/declines it feels like im in a perpetual skate park, and these omnipresent craters in the roads are so terrible it looks like the aftermath of a fucking avengers fight scene.
what makes it *even worse* is that the shitbox im learning to drive in has:
1. only 67 hp and even less torque (its a petrol),
2. a clutch pedal that not only has half a mile of travel, but is also almost *completely numb* so i cant *fucking* tell if im at the bite point or not,
3. a brake pedal so abrupt its virtually impossible to get a smooth deceleration,
4. a trans that is so janky it takes 2 years and half my strength to shift into 5th.
5. suspension so floaty that the body roll on speed breakers, turns, and in the aforementioned avengers size craters, is *so bad* it feels like one of those bobblehead toys u stick on to your dashboard.
in conclusion i am once again typing this at 5am in the morning after a session and i am in *desperate need* of some sleep.
My driving teacher wasn’t this helpful, he just said “stop over there”
I swear this is a good teacher, and respect to the guy learning. It was a good stop for the first time!
This kid is lucky to have such a calm instructor
Need more people that teach like this.
No immediate reprimands or giving out about what the kid did wrong, but instead trying to keep him on track and calm.
Go over the negatives later.
“And breath” I LEGIT COULDNT BREATH😭😭😭
WHEN DID YOU HEAR HIM SAY THAT!? I AM LOSING MY MIND, WHAT WAS THE LAST THING HE SAID BEFORE HE SAID IT
@@neo968 He said he can release his foot off the brake because he’s in neutral then he told him to breathe

Mans the most chill driving instructor what a ghe
For sure!
the instructor made it seem like he was flying a A320 for the first time 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
The: “I pressed it too much” killed me 😂
All these instructors ask you to ‘breathe’ or ‘relax’ at the first time your finishing moving off. Its funny because you can see learners who completely change their posture and loosen up as soon as you say it. So much to take in with driving at the start that you actually forget that you have to take yourself out of hyperfocus mode.
You know this guys a cool teacher. “And breathe” 😂😂😂😂
Always remember talk calm to the student so they also remain calm

Damn he’s actually a really good teacher 👍
I wish everyone could teach like this guy. A chill atmosphere yields better results.

Absolutely amazing teacher doesn’t get flustered and gives very calm and clear instructions every one learning how to drive needs someone like this
😒ikr
It’s a blessing to have a good driving instructor these days
Man I love the peacefulness in this!!
What a wholesome driver teacher “and breathe”
Your the teacher I want bc if you mess up you teach how to fix it instead of criticizing people for messing up ruining their self esteem
The main problem here is fear...
That's my issue I've only driven once and not with an Instructor. I was shitting bricks.
The main problem here is the guy getting teached how to shift before braking. Ofcource it goes to fast now its throwing him in a deep end
“And breathe” - what a great end to the sequence! I’ll definitely use that.
Taught myself how to drive on my permit in my car with no insurance, it took me the better part of 2 days driving around my city to get control of stopping at lights, how fast to go on turns, when to start braking, parallel parking, etc.
A tiny cheat code i used was watching other drivers do maneuvers & just trying to copy them or i’d stop at a gas station/ask the person next to me at the light what to do. I’m very fortunate to have passed my road test the first try, i did not have the privilege of my parents teaching me, or them helping me get my first car. Everything i know i learned & everything i’ve achieved i’ve done myself.
I had to do the same thing, I feel it’s easier that way lol.
i almost crashed in the drive thru at mcdonalds. Still dont have my livense im 28. too much anxiety
Are you allowed to just drive alone with bo permit where ur from?
@@elantonelle nope. Couldnt afford driving lessons as a grown adult on top of bills though. I think someone judging your driving adds a bit of pressure as well.
Some guy in his ford focus almost drove into me when he was overtaking at the traffic lights on a one way street when I stalled on a one way street. And a bunch of people started beeping me at some other traffic lights when I stalled on my lesson yesterday. It doesn't help

@Blob It's not bad for the transmission as long as in nuetral. My dad drives a manual and he does it all the time
“Do you have a ID?”
“Yes.”
“Here is your US drivers license then”
Eh… US drivers license.. also known as and used as our “ID”.
You have to have a valid FORM of ID such as a birth certificate, a written test, and physical test, and then pay for the license. Which then is what is known as an ID.
Kind of a dumbass comment
Your damn right every American knows how to drive and operate a shotgun while they are still in the womb

Great instructor!
I could probably handle teaching manual to someone who already knows how to drive. I don't think I could have the patience for a complete noob. Hats off to ppl like you
We learn to drive manual in uk mostly
It's completely normal in my country to learn how to drive manual transmission. 80% of new drivers start at manual... I don't even know if I could drive automatic if nobody explained how.
“I pressed it too much” 💀💀💀💀
At least he's driving a manual
learners in the uk all drive manual, pretty sure you cant get a licence driving auto. well you can but its a separate licence that allows you to only drive autos
@@JamesSpeedRuns here in nz is similar. If you learn in an auto you can only drive auto but if you learn in manual you can drive whichever.
That man has patience God bless him
My parents would freak out and act as though the sky itself was falling if their torso moved even an inch while turning or braking.

Man teachers like you are great
It’s amazing really when you see someone learning to drive and you think back to the start and now how you don’t even think about your feet when driving.
This was exactly me on my first lesson, I had to be reminded to breathe 😂
🤣
Probably one of the most important things here… “And breathe…”
He didn't say that
I love my driving Instructor he's ex military and knows i come from a military family so he treats me like a grunt going through basic and it helps alot since the only way to stop getting yelled at for stalling is to focus on the car and what's ahead instead of what's happening around me and now after 2 months I can now drive a car without issue and I haven't stalled since my 3rd week
Bless him.
At first it’s like rocket science and now, many years later, it’s the best thing I ever did.
I complete imbecile could drive stick. Why do people make this into a thing and never learn how is beyond me.
I couldnt be an driving instructor i would loose all my braincells
That was the most complicated park I’ve ever seen.
The trainer makes it look so complicated😂
He's so nervous, luckily his Instructor is such a kind soul
What a wonderful teacher man wish this guy was around when I was learning lol
Bruh u just gotta relax literally lounge stop being so stiff I know it sounds stupid but feeling relaxed while driving is so soothing it's almost like ur not even driving but you're fully aware of what you're doing
And you just stop seeing and feeling the car like you're just one with the car floating along the road
u still have to learn to drive first lol
My dad: BRAAAAAAAAAKE!!
This guy is a pro teacher!
I remember my first time learning clutch literally got taught by the guy selling it to me at midnight
What a legend 😂🤣
Awesome😂😂
Same with my 95 Jetta 3. It was in a McDonald's parking lot and I stalled a couple times in front of cars just trying to get through
That’s amazing 🤣
Hahahahah, bet that was an experience.
Did I really just watch someone stop a car?
Pretty sad most people are taking this video as an opportunity to uplift themselves and hate on this guy.
Supporting someone else's future doesn't take away from yours
Seems like a great teacher!
This is why it’s so important to understand how a car works before actually driving one: it’s like people are scared of the car they’re in

@@minerskills yeah they do but most cars now are auto, (unless they have a paddle system and classed as Semi Automatic’, the majority of cars on the road are fully automatic (vws Audis Volvos etc) it’s just a lot of the lower end cars (Corsas fiestas polos etc still have manual mainly due to costs)
