    I love the shot at 10:35 it shows all of the cars lines that are hard to see unless you're in person looking at it.

      The trans and diff were from a 2014 sti. Driveshaft was from 2015+ STI

      @ going through your playlist lol. I was about to order the ETs intercooler kit and gesi j pipe, then watched a video from street inspired and he had blown up his trans quickly using the same e tuner I use. Made me nervous.

    From a traction standpoint It doesn’t make sense to install the DCCD to work on open differentials.
    The CVT VB comes with the 45 F:55 R split on open differentials and nobody is claiming any performance advantages over the 50:50 split.
    You might as well go all the way and install the mechanical differentials just to get closer to completing the full STI drivetrain swap.

    • @JoeyMontalto
      @JoeyMontalto  Год назад +1

      The CVT is also open front and rear diff. The sti has an LSD front and rear and locking center diff. The controller lets me adjust the center diff just like a stock STi

    Nice, it is awesome. Question: Does it show up on the dash where the balance is, or is it on auto?

      On the little led screen it does show when it's in auto and the lights move. I like to set it so it's green and in auto mode

    Just had my trans rebuilt by Subaru. So 17k miles clutch and trans replaced. I haven't even beat on it. The motor doesn't go with the drivetrain. Wish they just would have come out with an STI. What brakes are you going with that's the main issue with this car.

      I knew the trans would be a weak point as I grenaded my old VA wrx trans with the ets turbo kit. I wish they had this motor with the STI trans stock. Love it now! As far as brakes I'm looking at swapping the TR brakes over possibly

    This is a very $$$$$ project. What's the total you've paid so far? Between buying my premium, plus the wheels, cat-back exhaust, front lip, side skirts, rear spoiler, tint, I'm at like $47k. kind of crazy

    Awesome video! So is this just for the dccd or is it for the si drive too? Is there a display for the dccd and si drive somewhere?

    • @JoeyMontalto
      @JoeyMontalto  Год назад +1

      The LED screen I mounted in the little cubbie on the left side I showed. You can use rheir controls or purchase your own si drive controller to work with it. When you order your kit you have to select how you will adjust the center diff.
