The odd thing is he could be a teenager now and no one would tell any different. God, he was cool.
i dont understand
@@iansmith8263 I think he is saying that even by today's standards of looks and behavior, he would still fit in as a teen.
@@dina113east I can`t remember the last time I heard a teenager with a Cockney accent like Steve`s...it`s been killed off by the multi-culti invasion....."innit blud"
And he only got better with age .Became 1 of the best singers in the world .
To think that Steve Marriott could more than hold is own against 60s icon David Hemmings as an actor, he was a prodigious talent in every sense of the word.
A very talented lad, that's for sure!
Three year after this he wrote the smash hit All or nothing!
Wiki says All or Nothing was released August '66. IMDB says this film 'Be My Guest' was 1965. Just a year earlier?
you can count!!
@@djmips it was made in 1963 when Marriott was about 16
We all know him for the great voice he had, but boy, never dreamed he could act so good..then thats Steve for you eh? that oh so posh voice, spot on! Love you Steve and always will :) x
Quite an impressive performance by Steve with David Hemmings no less!
Little Stevie had it all.
Talent oozed from every pore of his body.
as did booze and narcotics
@@iansmith8263 I bet your a laugh to go out with zzzzzz
@@iansmith8263 yeah more talent in his shit he flushed away, than your whole miserable being put together.
Wow... Steve Marriott the actor. Learning more everyday. Talented no matter what he did. More than just music. Love it! 😎👍
That was one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
What a tragic end to the top musician vocalist in the world.
Steve could act - and sing his ass off. All the talent from that era is mind boggling... must've had something to do with making babies after WWII bombs had been dropped on their parents heads.
And no TV nor computers.
@@mjh5437 Yes, boredom actually existed, so people got up, got out and did things!
A very underrated talent
Awesome video thank you for sharing . I’ve been listening to small faces music since the early 70s and adore Steve Marriott shame his life had such tragedy 💜
Such a natural, whatever he turned his mind to. A rare wild icon.
Incomparable talent.
Such a cutie.
Fantastic!
What a cutie. Looks just like jack wild. And weirdly stevie played 'the artful dodger' before jack did. What a talent he became. Sadly missed
I knew it! Don't know how but he would have been perfect as "Artful". Which production anyone please?
modmutha I mentioned how I could imagine Steve as the Artful Dodger in another video some time ago. I was also stunned when I researched that he had already played the role in the acclaimed Lionel Bart stage production for 1year!

Oh he is so adorable!
What Steve had was solid gold confidence 🤩
Whoa he was so stylish, talented and beautiful. I love him.
Don Arden took care of The Small Faces wardrobe.
wow, steve was really good. thanks for sharing.
Stevie outshines all the other in this
WOW! He was good! Very charming and funny.
Wonderful young Steve Marriott
@gropingwithastoker Steve was actually a good drummer. In july 1966, my band & the Small Faces played in the same club together in Frankfurt, and Steve got up & played drums with us.
seftonwallet As budding drummer & Steve Marriott fan is there more you can tell us about your experience of the man & his drumming?
Steve was also in the Peter Sellers Film "Heavens above"(1963)
sweet steve
Blimey!!!
That was great! Thanks for posting it!
WOW!!! I've never seen this before!!, love it! Thank you for share! Greets from MEXICO :)
Age, like a great wine, marinade..and wisdom, speaks for itself..yes?! Regards Karolyn Melbourne Australia

Precocious lad...
He's so CUTE
Yes that is David Hemmings.
He was a decent actor... cool
Very cool
It's almost like watching a Disney channel show if in the 60s mod scene!
qué hermosito :3 siempre
Before the legend!Actually he always was one...
rare!
AHHHH
the guy on the right was in Quadrophenia ( "i hear you're good at going up and down in alleyways") and later on The Bill
Wow! Didn't know he was a talented actor as well.
I thought it was from the film "LIve It Up"
......and Jeremy Paxman in the background!
Hes a proper cockney 😊
did he play the Artfull Dodger ?
orley104 Yeah he did..
He was in the Original production, as Co Artful Dodger, but sang the part on the Soundtrack. Hope this a accurate.

Davy Jones (Monkees) was the original Artful Dodger.
I want to watch the whole thing or series. Any help on that?
He don't need no doctor
Which picture was this scene taken from and where is the rest of it.
There were two films Live It Up and Be My Guest
Here is a clip from Live It Up. ruclips.net/video/Ayj3zAUxmfU/видео.html

@brickbat44 or hywel bennett lol
And he could act too....
He looks like he's only 13 lol
@brickbat44 blimey you aint getting much are you...
@gropingwithastoker About, Heinz. I discovered about him, mere few months ago, on RUclips. Would you know if he played rhythm guitar or lead or both on his songs such as 'Questions I can't answer' and 'Hush a bye, baby'? 'Just like Eddie' is a really good song but he seems to be known only for that. I've just listened to the other songs I mentioned and they are quite good listenting. I could never have known about him, no information in the 70s provided.
Were the other two actors musicians?
no sir
@gropingwithastoker Judging from your information, they weren't musicians actually.
the c. I. a will know they have dossiers on them i dont know the time limit for there release into the public domain
film made in 1963 not 1965?
Where’s Heinz
hahaha...talk about a talent, he can do anything...that was so natural. There was something very likable about Steve Marriott....i cant stand most 'celebrities'.
To be fair, they probably wouldn't like you either.
@@aliceborealis lol... probably not
Are you sitting comtybowl 2 square on your botty? Then lets begin....
how weird is that!
