I made this for dinner tonight. It was delicious. It was the first meal I attempted in my new Speedi. The only thing I changed was I added a teaspoon of chicken Better Than Bouillon to the water. That’s just my thing. Thanks for the video. It’s a keeper for me.

I do something very similar to this, except not having a Ninja cooker, I cook chicken thighs with bone and skin separately in a casserole dish, add several cans of cream of mushroom and chicken to help create a nice gravy, always use porta bella mushrooms, the white mushrooms have no taste, to me they are just fillers. I also use dry Italian seasoning, some sweet basil, salt, pepper on the chicken before I start cooking it, you can even throw a little cumin too if you like. The fat from the chicken skin along with all the other flavors mix well with the soup creams. I cook my jasmine rice separately. This is one of my wife's favorite meals.

Would it be possible for you to make a video to compare the Speedi vs the Smart Pressure Cooker?
I am asking because both items seem to be able to do pretty much the same thing (minus pressure cooking) but the way to cook seems more convenient in the Speedi since it's rectangular rather than cylindrical. Plus other nuances

So far it looks like you are using the Speedi like the SmartLid Pressure Cooker Steam function. I know you like the square configuration of the Speedi, but with 5 Ninja cooking products so far, I'm not seeing how the Speedi would enhance/expand my cooking repertoire. What am I missing?

@@jameswarner5878 I have one of those too, but I was specifically asking about the OL-701 "Smart-Lid" vs the"Ninja Speedi". John has used both extensively. I HAVE the OL-701 that has the internal thermometer and it seems to do all the same things the "Speedi" does. Was just curious what John Sanders thought. Thank you for your response though!

Except if you use Campbell’s cream of mushroom, you’re eating genetically modified organism and it’s not real food so you’re making chicken and rice with Campbell’s genetically modified organism you’re not doing cream of mushroom use Pacific or simple, organic cream of mushroom that’s actually food, not a GMO other than that looks good
