    Great video! I agree, I have a regular Mastrerbuilt vertical smoker & a regular propane grill, the Ninja Woodfire is the keeper.

    We just purchased the Ninja Woodfire grill. Planing to take it with us in our RV. Trying it out at home first though. Your corn in the husk recipe was spot on good. Used it to sear sous vide pork chops. That was good too. I like this little grill for moving lots of cooking outside the house and the RV.

    I remember you talking about your thermometer that comes with Bluetooth probes when I watched all of Ninja Air fryer videos years ago (and we're still loving it today!).
    I'm now interested in getting the thermometer with probes for Father's Day but I can't find that video now. I'd love a dedicated video about them! Or can you remind me the brand and model?

    Hello. I just subscribed to your channel. I like to ask you a question about your vanilla ice cream recipe. The one you made five years ago . I have the cusinart new model. My question is when I get the sugar and salt melted in the warm milk, should I immediately add the half & half and heavy cream along with vanilla extract? After that, should I put the mixture in the fridge to cool down and then pour it in the ice cream machine? I love your recipe because you don't use egg yolks and I don't care for the custard format. Is it possible you could kindly make another vanilla ice cream with the new ice cream machine version and assist us how to do it? Im excited to hear from you. Thank you so much.

      Sometimes I cool the mix by setting it in the sink in cool water... even add ice sometimes...

    Three hundred and fifty degrees for corn for an hour ? listen I’m from New Jersey and we have the best corn as well as the best tomatoes . Three hundred and fifty degrees maybe ten minutes to fifteen minutes depending on the size Max .

    I would suggest allowing the ignition cycle to complete before adding the food. Avoids dirty smoke bitterness.

    I don’t know why anyone would use unsalted butter either, even though I do know. 😊

    Question, would adding a couple of drops of liquid smoke to butter (melting it , mixing it then letting it solidify) add some smoke taste to the corn as an alternative?

    I love the fact that you’re so passionate about cooking everything and it looks wonderful and I want to eat everything! My biggest concern is that cleaning up the Ninjas after cooking with them doesn’t seem to work well. The cooking vessels are not expected to look brand new but, I don’t expect them to look like they are dirty either. What am I missing? Is this ever addressed by the company or are we supposed to automatically know that the vessel is supposed to look like a regular bbq grill?

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  Год назад +1

      I have never found an acceptable way to clean them... there are some videos out there and "cooking with CJ" probably had the best... but I also have never really found a need to keep them super clean... except the cooking surface of course...lol... but all of mine do have some patina...( that sounds better than dirty)...lol... and I also never cook things like bacon in them and I think that helps... thanks for watching!!!

    John is the Ninja Woodfire big enough to cook a Boston Butt on it?

    • @JohnSanders
      @JohnSanders  Год назад

      Probably not for me because I always cook 9 to 10 pound butts but maybe one 5 or 6... hard to say
