    Dang NY is flooding like Florida! Can you imagine how much work can be done to repair/improve the infrastructure of our cities if we did not have politicians who increase their personal wealth by investing in the same military contractors they hand billion dollar NO BID CONTRACTS every year, to pay for their FOR PROFIT WARS?

      Yeah, it's the politicians that caused the flood OH no they didn't make the city flood-proof it's more like the idiots all of us humans are who refuse to do anything about global warming going back to when we first realized we needed to and now it's too late.

      When I was evacuating my apartment due to incoming flood waters at midnight a couple years back, I couldn’t find an Uber or Lyft available. Thankfully I found one eventually and it cost me $100 to get to my friend’s apartment. I don’t even pay that much to ride to the airport. It was crazy. It’s basically New Year’s Eve pricing. That said, the driver risked his life driving me through partially flooded streets so I was happy to pay the fare. It was late too. My gripe is that most of that money doesn’t even go to the driver. I should’ve canceled my ride and just paid him in cash.

    This news report is so racist. The most important thing to know is whether the illegal immigrants are safe in their 5 star hotel rooms, and that Room Servive is not affected.

    NYC must follow Mumbai who has championed dealing with tropical monsoons where flooding and heavy downpour is pretty common.

      The government is to blame for this. A big city like NY should be prepared for heavy rain.

      @@timmytee734Florida with its endless hurricanes should always be prepared for theirs and then they end up flooded and now they're asking for a handout from the government. Torrential downpours are going to purchase massive flooding it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out as you were obviously not the best personal vibrator in the nightstand drawer with that logic.

      Just a major train derailment where hundreds of people were killed in India they need to do something about their infrastructure and rail system.

    • @SicilianStealth
      @SicilianStealth Год назад

      @@timmytee734what a completely ignorant and uneducated comment. It's not about us being a big-city in being prepared. As with any torrential downpour things are going to flood just like anywhere else you know like Florida we should be prepared for hurricanes as I get them on a regular basis and yet each and every time they fail miserably.
      The subways and platforms are below-ground therefore this is going to happen plus if you hadn't noticed we have a much greater infrastructure.
      If anyone should be blamed it should be Florida they get hurricanes on a regular basis and yet each and every time they are always never prepared.
