If water raises 6-inches to a foot above the car floor, this very well could be considered enough damage for the car to be totaled as a flood damaged car. The flood waters in the car interior causes black mold in the carpet, shorts out and corrodes electrical connections that are not water-proof in the interior of the car and costing more money to repair; making it a total loss by car insurance company. States will not register cars that are flood damage and list the cars as salvage and not operable on the road.

Mayor Adams should declare a State of Emergency and give the 1000,000 Asylum Seekers who have relocated to NYC a $12,000.00 Grant to compensate them for any possible losses they may have had.
