I just got this one,Only 15 miles with it.Liked it no issues.BUT i think it was hurting my temples..We shall see? Course i dont have many options IF i want to pair it to my Harley street glide..

How do I get to the radio station
This is the only helmet I know of all the helmets I own that simply hurts my right hear due to the speaker sitting too close a distance to my ear. The speakers are held in place by Velcro- like pads. I'm going to remove some of the hard foam to lower the speaker in it's recess with a styrofoam cutting tool. If that does not solve it, I'm seriously considering getting something else due to the painful way the right side pushes on my ear. Other than that it works. I have never had any issues with SENA stuff, but this helmet needs a bit of rework.
Is this a long term review, or short term review?

As long as you don't crash, if you do, a paper bag is probably as useful and far cheaper.

Helmet fits a little too tight with the Chin protectors.
Wife got it, she loves it, but I hate the dial control. Pairing was not convenient. I don’t like how much I can turn my head in it tho. I’d give it a 4.5/5

I love mine as well,.I got 2 ! One for me one for my Girl, great helmets that come with Bluetooth and intercoms built in!

I’m trying to figure out what Bluetooth Cena system this is so I can link it with the app on my phone? Is this system upgradable at all?
How do you connect to your phone? Bluetooth isn’t popping up on my iPhone
First, make sure the firmware of the helmet is updated to the latest through Sena's site. Then, turn the helmet on and put it in "phone pairing" mode either through the buttons on the side or through the main menu. Then it will appear as an available BT unit to nearby phones.

You can actually pair up to 3 intercoms with the Outrush helmet
My outrush won't pair with my husband's freedom intercom is that user error or does sena not pair with other brands?
@@forevermeslac it's nit cross compatible with other brands. Not sure if it works with other sena helmet models... idk why they wouldn't but I wouldn't be surprised either
How does this helmet compare to the Sedeci sistema 2? Which has better venting and noise control? Do they have the same comm system?
ZERO airflow, super hot... Loud road noise. Love the convenience of the Bluetooth but hard to hear due to air flow from the road.

Hmmm, a $150 comm system in a $50 helmet. Be real careful if you are considering this one. The Send Momentum helmet line isn't very good other than the built in comm system.
For your own safety, buy helmets with warm visible colors : red, white, yellow, orange. Vivid colors.

Can you please re-title this video. I clicked on it thinking this was a new headset from SENA, not a new helmet. Nowhere does the title or product link description say helmet.
The helmet is called "Outrush" it's in the title. I hate the term being used now days "Karen" but calm down Karen.
I got the Sena Momentum Lite helmet from you guys. It’s garbage. How does this helmet you reviewed compare to other options?
The momentum lite is crazy loud. The venting is terrible (on a chilly morning with wet hair traveling at freeway speeds without hiding behind a wind screen) I genuinely can’t tell which position is open and which is closed. The speakers aren’t good enough to hear music at freeway speeds. I can only Bluetooth to a single device (either my phone OR someone with Cardo), and you have to reset the device to switch back and forth. The Sena firmware can only be updated through a windows machine because they want you to use their cable which is a USB And not 3.0. So you cannot connect it to a MacBook (air or pro) made more recently than about 2015. The Sena manual is garbage and their customer support is crap and they cannot explain how to connect 3 Sena devices to a single Cardo device (17 part email thread with them where they began explaining the buttons to press by providing a text version of a diagram of which helmet connects to which other helmet, but without saying which buttons to press which was the question at hand).
So yeah ... how does this helmet compare to the other Sena helmets? Did you ride in it or just take it out of the box and touch things and pull out the liner?
We definitely do test out the BT system on everything that we shoot a video on. I know that because its my job to do it. The technology and speakers in this helmet aren't new for Sena, they just repurposed their entry level unit's tech and put it inside this helmet, so it performs nearly the exact same as those units.
I can't speak towards Sena's helmet design ideals/ideas, but my first question would be if you are wearing ear plugs while riding on the highway or not? Because the wind noise around the helmet is what you are battling mostly. Wearing ear plugs will remove the wind noise while still allowing the music/comms to play through and still allowing you to hear your bike/cars around you. I ride a naked bike 1.5 hours to our office in PHL everyday with one of the loudest exhausts I could find, and I listen to my music without issues thanks to my ear plugs. If you don't already I would give that a try.
I would also double check your ability to update the unit on your MacBook. My work computer is a MacBook air from years and years ago and yet I can update Sena, Carda, Uclear, etc all without issue. So that might mean you need to update either your computers firmware, or your Sena Device app that comes from their site.

RevZilla thanks for the reply! Will try earplugs on the next ride. I do find the Sena Momentum Lite to be way louder than my previous very entry level scorpion helmet. I use ear buds with the Sena helmet when solo for music because the sound is so terrible on freeway speeds otherwise.
You didn’t really speak about wind noise or venting or aerodynamics on that helmet. I was curious about what it feels like on.
The Mac thing is a genuine limitation for them. USB-C is the new standard. New MacBook pros only have USB-C connections. My slightly older MacBook Air only has USB 3.0. Sena states that it will not work with USB 3.0 and I called their customer support and they confirmed. “Get another computer” was the suggestion to update the firmware on the brand new helmet I had just taken out of the box because it wasn’t possible to use the Sena iOS apps with the Sena helmet without updating the firmware.
If you guys are interested I’d be happy to send the email chain talking to their customer support asking about how to connect 3 Sena units and one Cardo unit. It’s comical. The Cardo manual clearly stares “press this button for 2 seconds, press that button for 5 seconds” the Sena manual shows a picture of helmet with an arrow pointing at another helmet. Using the Cardo as the foundation I can link my Sena to the Cardo. At the same time I could link my Sena to the other Senas but couldn’t bring them together. It was like a channel A and channel B situation. Sena couldn’t tell me how to bring them together. Sena also couldn’t tell me how to use a Sena device as the center. They began with something like this “Cardo >> your helmet
Modular helmet is best for people with glasses that don't want a half-face helmet.
*Half face helmets should be banned from production completely*
But my freedoms! :) If I want my death to skyrocket your insurance premiums, that's my choice!
And what does that have to do with the review of this helmet. Some people just need to pontificate about everything...
Wont connect to mine or friends phones . Doesn't pop up on the phone and tge helmet doesn't find it with configuration . Cant get ahold of anyone and no one has answers !!!
