Hi again, well I got the control panel apart but didn't see any sign of the Gatorade so I just wiped the ribbon connections with De-Ox-It and put it back together. Still no LCD or power switch LEDs lit, and no response from the panel buttons either. It does power up when I plug it in and push the power button but that's all it does so that means the main power supply is working anyway. I put a new Photo Black cartridge in it while I had it apart but without the proper control panel sequence it didn't see the new cartridge so I still can't print anything. Help please?!
    Thanks,

Is it possible to change the waste tank without unscrewing the whole scanner?

Hi Kevin, I spilled some Gatorade in the control panel of my Epson XP-6100 and desperately need to remove the control panel so I can clean the circuit board and/or switches. The printer works from my laptop but the back light on the LCD is out and only the power button responds - none of the other buttons work. The photo black cartridge needs replacing so I can no longer print but that appears impossible to do without the control panel working. Thanks in advance!!

How to get rid of ink line at the top right hand corner when I scan the document. The ink line is about 2" long. I have Epson XP-7100. I manually cleaned the surface and also used the maintenance menu to clean guide line. It still didn't work. Please help. Thank you.

Hi Kevin, I actually have a problem with the paper output tray. It starts openning but on half way it will stop and I need to tear a little bit, then it scrolls out the rest. Same when closing: I have to give a little push on half way, then it closes perfectly. Can You give me a tip, how to fix the problem? Is it possible to open the printer from the lower side to find the cause of the trouble?
Thank You in advance, regards george

Accidentally plugged mine into 220v. Think I fried the power supply. What is easiest way to remove power supply or way to check the damage. Powered on then made a woos type sound and now is dead.

Get a multimeter and check on the power supply first.

Sorry, I repaired it already. It was a little bit of a peanut in the rail of the output tray. I opened it carefully, cleaned it and now it is working well.....😅

SAME here. I agree. Wish he would have explained the "Guts" of the rear cover he just pulled out to set aside. What is that thin lever with the tab on the top of it for, that when pulled, swings out towards the inside of the machine? My printer was constantly getting jammed, having to take that back cover off to take the crunched paper out. I ended up buying a new printer.
