I have read many comments lamenting Thanos’ perspective but I think this scene right here is the saddest in the whole MCU. Gamora was stolen as a child after seeing her planet being slaughtered. She was tortured and forced to become the most feared and deadliest weapon in the universe, demean her sister for she had to win in order to survive. after years of pain, she found a family, love and validation as a living being and not an object. And even though she spent years suffering, she still loved him, her dad. A love that was proven to him thanks to a humiliating illusion. SHE WAS MURDERED AFTER REALIZING HER LOVE FOR HER DAD AND AFTER REALIZING HE LOVED HER BACK.
One of the best scenes in the entire Avengers series. It’s genuinely so well acted, well written, and emotional. Edit: Even down to the look of genuine pain on Thanos when he throws her off.

its the same ost
Smart1529 no it's not it's just very similar
madara26348 once again you are wrong too the one in this scene is called Even for you and black widows death is called not good , look it up and get your facts straight
Fenton Neal it’s literally almost the same ost except for a couple parts dumb ass
Sean Frauley it's literally cock and balls but in my ass
ive watched this scene too many times and now too many tears are on my pillow
I hate that because the next morning I find out I had another breakdown
Emotional breakdowns are horrible
After she died first thing on my mind “star lord is gonna be pissed!”
This kills me everytime
Imagine in their conversation at the end of infinity war gamora asked:„was it worth it?“
The thing is, everyone thought gamora would come back in endgame but she didn’t, nebula replaced her
Alan Silvestri's score really helped bring the emotional power of this scene to full effect.
The sound score man loved it!!!👍👍👍❤️❤️
This is what makes infinity war so good
this deadass the only part I cry at
This scene hit hard to this day, especially knowing when the real Gamora is dead 😭
i miss this gamora she was the best wish they never killed her off
It still makes me sad
She yelled "Dad!" When she was falling.
Probably also why it cut back to Thanos who looked even more upset than he initially did throwing her off, like the shock of her calling him Dad must’ve made him feel x10 worse
I will be honest, I cried more with Gamora’s than Natasha’s
You can hear thanos voice is broken after he realize he must sacrifice his own daughter
Thanos may be a lot of things, even if he loves Gamora as a daughter of his own, but he's still an evil, genocidal psychopath.
Oh really ?????
You don’t even know what a psychopath is. Calling someone evil is completely ignorant as you haven’t even considered why he’s doing it and what his end goal is.
@@01l219-m Oh, Shut Up! I don't need you to correct me on what I'm saying. But you should know what I'm saying is true.
@@jaredruff9823 Well it’s not true , a psychopath doesn’t feel any remorse for anyone and doesn’t cry for anyone. Sure he’s genocidal , but he’s committing it for the greater good of trillions of people and the trillions of people in the future after them.
@@01l219-m Alright, point taken. My mistake.
God damn, this scene was operatic in the theater. .
If you look closely you can see blood from Natasha and green blood around Gamora. God that makes me queasy
if i were thanos i would be a good person
What is the point of this comment lol
@@tweedycheetah2083 lmaoo
RhinoTheDad 😂
@@tweedycheetah2083 he just built different 💀
I’d be Natasha
It’s so sad, it’s at this moment Gamora realized that Thanos does love, and that he loves her...but that love is about to be the thing that kills her and gets him the soul stone
Soundtrack is a masterpiece
1:50 throwing the fish back when Dad says it's not big enough to keep
When Gamora gloated and mocked Thanos over his supposed "inability to love", it turned into shock and aggressive disbelief when she realized he did care, but had no choice, but to sacrifice her to get the infinity stones.
I ..wow
0:29 When I realize my long time crush doesn't share the same feelings for me as I have for her.
2:00 When I see her move away, and I never see her again.
Happened to me in real life. Based on Thanos' expressions, this is the scene where I can relate to him the most. And I find it to be such a coincidence how Infinity War came out at around the same time she left me.
No one can relate to Thanos
@@originated712 Thanos lost his daughter, I lost my crush. So I can feel his pain.
Davis Harper Your crush didn’t die, and also you’re not a mad Titan that wants to destroy half the universe (hopefully) + daughter and crushes are whole different things
@@originated712 Eh, I guess you're right.
Davis Harper but yeah it’s still sad what you went through don’t get me wrong
we lost so many people but at last the main villain is gone
Gamora was pretty dense to not figure it out when she saw Thanos crying.
Yep considering she grew up with his tutelage
Do you blame her she witness him destroy half of civilizations one would think there's no emotion going through him.
Maybe....but it was also clear he showed her compassion unlike his other children...hence the scene when on his ship he knew she was lieing about the soul stone location....plus he didnt torture her for it despite her consistent defying.
@@wh0_odat644 He literally killed her mother and half of her entire race, I think she believed he was only using her like everyone else in his life. And in the end she as kinda proven right when he chucked her off the cliff....
When Red Skull said “Their not for him...”
She was like “What?!?! Meeeee?!!?!”
*This is literally the worst ending for Gamora. She dies without her real family, without Peter, and with another Gamora who envolved into a different person, this scene is basicly the end for one of the if not the best couple in the MCU...I can't with this...*
That’s what makes this scene so heartbreaking though. This version of Gamora is still officially dead
I'm here after Guardians 3 and I'm surprised they didn't cheat her death by making new Gamora like old Gamora.
1.52 thanos:me
Gamora:girl I liked and new
Me thinking I added her and leaving the game saying well play tomrrow:
Me coming back on realizing I dident add her: 1:52
I just realize that when thanos drags her by the arm getting hit by her
It’s the exact same way thanos met gamora when he found her on her planet when looking for her mother.
Anyone going to acknowledge that Thanos has an obsession with bubbles?
Why Zoe is such a great actress: The facial expression change at "they're not for him." Literally perfect
1:42 to 1:51 when your parent force you to come to the mall
Lol
Yeah I get thrown off a cliff when I go to the mall aswell, #reletable
@@tweedycheetah2083 I'm ded 😂😂😂
Used to be me but now I don't mind it
Yeah right. Suppose there was something you wanted like a videogame
It’s really sad until you realize he has made trillions of fathers feel the same way without a thought.
This scene made me cry my eyes out
PLEASE DON'T TELL ANYONE..... But I cried on this seen.
telling everyone
The way Thanos stares at Gamora plummeting to her death as if he didn't believe it was real even when he was the one who caused it **chef's kiss**
So even if Thanos is the villian in the movie, I still kinda feel bad since he obviously didn't want to kill Gamora, I mean he was crying and showing that he loves her which is pretty rare to see villains actually do that since not so many villains reel that way, but he still did it because it was his "destiny" to conquer the universe by getting all the infinity stones, and he loved Gamora more than anything, even if she hates him because if he never loved her than he would have never got the soul stone which really breaks my heart because I love Gamora and I never expected her to be killed my Thanos, and for her to be Thanos's adopted daughter. This scene made me cry and made me curse at Thanos a few times-
😳
Yeah..
But she was the only person in the entire universe that Thanos loved which is the reason why I feel bad for Thanos, but tbh I still hate him either way I mean he did wipe out half of all living things sooo-
But I was really happy that she was in Avengers Endgame even if it was her from the past.
(also Quill's reaction hearing that Gamora died made me tear up to)
He isn't trying to conquer the universe he's trying to save it
