    I've been playing with this paddle for two months now. It's great for singles. So much power, pop and spin compared to my Gen 1 CF paddle. Serves, drives and volleys are great. I can't imagine a better paddle for under $100.

    I wonder if more recently-made Force paddles have been revised? I bought mine about a month ago and it plays pretty different from this review imo. Power and spin is decent I agree but the sweet spot most definitely is above the middle of the paddle. I’m naturally hitting near the top half consistently. Mine is also not lightweight coming in at 8.4 oz w overgrip on my kitchen scale. I just added 3 grams of tungsten on each lower corner which raises the weight to 8.6 oz but should help with more stability at net and expand the sweet spot a bit.

    Great review, based on this in a few others, I think I might go for it as at least an interim paddle until some new ones come out in the next month or two. It doesn't seem like you're sacrificing anything with the neonic, especially at that price point.

    Great review and definitely will check this out.
    So it sounds like it has a shape more similar to V7 or R3 pulsar but plays more like a flash or R1?

      Hmm that's an interesting take. I would still say it plays more like the elongated paddles than the hybrid ones. The Neonic still isn't as quick as the hybrid paddles and it's 'poppier' compared to most of the other thermos. It's just quicker and less powerful than the other elongated thermos but still plays similar to them in my opinion

      @@TickleMyPickleball how do you think it compares to a Filth or Persuit MX 6.0?

    I enjoyed this review. Just shows you that good paddles dont need to be $200+

    Would you take the neonic force over the Crbn 3x? Price wouldn't be a concern for me.

      Price aside I like the 3x because it's not as poppy as the Force

    Would you say it’s better than the Vatic pro prism V7?

    • @Zeitstaubsammlr
      @Zeitstaubsammlr Год назад +1

      Prisms are all court, not power paddles. What is BETTER for you?

    • @TickleMyPickleball
      @TickleMyPickleball  Год назад +2

      Prism's lean more towards control and are better for resets and dinks. Neonic is poppier at the net but also has more overall power than the Prisms. Depends on what you're looking for

    Hey man -- I really love your reviews! I'm looking for a 16mm thermo with a light swing weight. I was wondering if you found the Mavrik Power, Kiwi, or Neo Neonic to be the quickest in your hands? Thank you and keep up the great work!

    • @TickleMyPickleball
      @TickleMyPickleball  Год назад +2

      I would say the Maverix and Neonic Force are very similar. They are both around the 118-119 range. Neonic Force has more pop while the Maverix is a bit softer
      I left Kiwi Slice out because that one is technically not elongated, it's slightly shorter but I do really like that paddle. It's shape gives it one of the best sweet spots though it is slightly thicker and not as quick

    Hi there, I currently have a Vatic Prism Flash in the 16 mm. I'm wanting a little bit more pop and power, do you think I should go with the V7 or towards the Neonic Force?

    • @TickleMyPickleball
      @TickleMyPickleball  Год назад +1

      The Neonic Force retains a lower swingweight than both V7s and it provides more pop as well but not as much power as the thermoformed V7.
      However I recommend you wait for my review dropping this Friday on the new Pickleball Apes paddle, I think that may be the paddle you are looking for 👀👀
