    Because of the price it always gets credited with amazing value. The fact is, no matter the price, the paddle is just plain amazing.

    Great to see R&R doing RUclips. I worked as a stringer there in the mid 80's when Phil and Lex ran the place, and it was the leader of racquet sports (and running gear) in Vancouver even back then--great place to work with a bunch of very fit, energetic young people (oh, to be that again!)

    My Prism V7 is my go-to as the performance is exceptional in regards to paddle feel, SPIN and controlled power... the ball fuzz buildup is significant and the topspin on this paddle makes the ball act likes it's possessed.. Played with thermoformed and too many balls were flying long, so this one is my choice as it matches my game perfectly... PLENTY of power on demand and it's CONTROLLED power for passing shots and resets/flicks... for under $100 US, this is THE BEST paddle for performance/price value on the market today...

    You play really well!
    I tried this paddle and thought it played more like a 150 - 200 dollar paddle. It's a winner for sure! 🎉

    Really like the Vatic Prism line. It would be awesome if you guys could get the Neonic line to Canada. Some thermoform competition. Thanks for of the reviews

    We had a Vatic Prism Flash 14mm. It started out great - really responsive and nice spin. Control was fine originally. However, after about 3 months it started to go dead - the sound even changed to more of a thud and the ball started to go everywhere but where you want it to go. I am seeing why the warranty is only 90 days. Switched to a Six Zero Double Black Diamond 14mm, which has been a fantastic paddle. Hopefully it will last longer.

      Durability will always be an issue in pickleball (unfortunately). It's just the nature of the violent contact between ball and material.

      It seems weird to me as things are relatively light overall 🤔

      I've been wondering if I should go to another paddle for the same reason. The 6zero 14 is the exact paddle I was thinking of. How do you like it now?

    Awesome video, just ordered a Prism Flash 16mm. New to pickleball, coming from a tennis background. Thank you!

    I have been playing with the Vatic pro V7 since my Selkirk Luxx handle cracked. I will say yes it is a little heavier but I have thoroughly enjoyed it and have had no complaints.

      Doesn't Selkirk have a lifetime warranty? Get them to send you a new one

    My flash is a 3rd shot drop monster. resets and touch shots are simply easier than anything i've played with before. My much more expensive paddles sit in my bag since I grabbed this one.

    Hi Luca, I continue to enjoy and look forward to your paddle reviews . They continue to be articulate and well thought out. I am a big fan of the B & B Filth and I was wondering if you might have some advanced info on the specs and playibilty of the new Loco paddle. It sort of sounds like it might just be a different shape and weight. I'm thinking of pre-ordering one and they haven't gotten back to me yet regarding these questions.
    Thanks again for keeping us well informed.
    Bob

      Thank you very much, that's really nice to hear! I'm guessing you've seen the Loco at this point. We should be getting them very soon.

    I'm gonna ask Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16mm vs Six Zero Quartz? First pedal was Dick's Sporting Goods paddles in a bag with a few balls. I did try the quarts and felt I played better I'm brand new to the sport

    The Neonic paddle is thermal formed in a better deal. Plays really well too

    The prism flash is good enough for pro Augusta Ge to use

    Agree to most, however the T700 carbon face is not the same in the prism line as the thermoformed line vatics. Prism is noticeably grittier but does not translate to more spin

    Great review. I am an intermediate considering three paddles; Vatic Pro Flash ( 14m), Diadem Icon v2 middleweight and Crown 14mm black. Also a converted 4.5 tennis player with lots of heavy topspin which paddleof these three or others in the 100-120 US Dollar range would be recommended? Thx.

    I'm confused.. why would someone pick the prism over the thermoformed for $40 more? Someone who wants less power?

  • @whoanon5553

    And with a code, the Neonic is around $90

    Relative newbie: CBRN2 16mm or Vatic Pro Prism Flash 16mm?

    • @RacketsandRunnersPickleball
      @RacketsandRunnersPickleball  7 месяцев назад +2

      I would go with the Prism Flash. It's one of the best value paddles and the hybrid shape is something I wish I had tried as my first paddle because it's so versatile.

    Did you prefer the flash or the V7?

    • @RacketsandRunnersPickleball
      @RacketsandRunnersPickleball  10 месяцев назад

      I prefer the V7 because I like extended paddles but I really enjoy playing with the Flash because of its great variety and wish I could adapt my game style to that shape but it's not happening right now.

    • @juiceskywalker

      What about playing doubles? Would you use the flash for doubles since it’s much quicker and stick with the V7 for singles because of it’s length?
