Thanks for letting me join. Id want to add 1 thing. BA has 2 plugins on runelite. "Barbarian Assault" which you mentioned but there is also "BA Minigame" which colors the called items.
This defender strat is insane. Defender went from the hardest role to 2nd easiest after collector. Using this strat I kill all runners before the healers/fighter/rangers. Thank you.
To everyone who feels discouraged this is definitely doable and this video does a spectacular job breaking it all down. The minigame is quite fun once you're across it and only takes a few hours to get torso! Thanks for the vid!
Just did my first clear of BA after watching this several times. For those going in for your first time, it's best to just focus on one role and make sure the first thing you do is use the horn to make your call for your teammates. We had a lot of time first round because our healer was super out of it, which was nice as it gave me time to mark ground tiles. Thank you for the guide, Kaoz!

The 1 egg strat isn't too difficult. I'm sure there's ways to make it even better, but for the normal person if you just hold spacebar and spam click the omega egg in the cannon menu, it'll shoot a bunch out when the egg is loaded. Normally works very well!
5th guide I've watched (specifically for info on defender), this is more informative & clearer than the videos uploaded solely focusing on the role😂 Thank you man, grinding lol 5 in all, just defending I'm nervous about.
Just completed my Kandarin Hard diaries with the help of this guide! Wasn't bad. Took 2 runs with randoms. We had a bailer on the first team. But my second team was just awesome. No hiccups whatsoever.
I never thought the day would come that i'd say i enjoy BA. But this guide made that possible. I'm currently working on the elite diary and i'm honestly having a blast doing it. Fantastic guide!
best defender guide I've seen yet, at 1750 total level and a quest cape I decided to finally get my torso and defender was my last role and this guide helped me finally secure it, that bad food south of the trap was a godsend
I just got the torso by watching this guide, and to be honest, the minigame in its entirety is cheeks BUT it was kinda fun at the same time. I'll camp it during spring break for lvl 5 on all roles and fill up the collection log. Thanks for the guide!
I was literally in a queue to spend 80m on a fighter torso because it just seemed so daunting. Finally got mine today, I had to go back and watch this vid several times because it can get slightly complicated. Biggest advice I can give to people is: if you can't find a team, make one and recruit others. Nobody was looking for a def or wouldn't accept me as a def so I just made my own group and did it. The longer you sit on waiting to do it, you could've actually just spent doing it. I didn't have fun at all, but it was worth it in the end. So just force yourself to do the minigame, it'll be over within 2 hours tops.
I've been trying to find any tile markers for this and can only find one for defender. Don't understand how all these guide videos show tile markers but they can't be bothered to export the markers. Not gonna join a match with randoms and tell everyone to wait while I place markers.
a pastebin for the tile markers would be super useful to save having to mark them on the fly! If you could post it to comments or something that would be awesome edit: ah i thought there were gonna be markers for each role but it's only for def so it's not too bad marking them on the fly tbh

Just started BA grind for torso last night. My first game ever, we got to wave 10 then my team ditched me to join another team... This is gonna be a rough one.
This is honestly the worst thing in this game, every role seems awful. You cant say "Its not that bad" while having to take 30 minutes to explain a MINIGAME.
I was surprised. I didn't watch a guide, but I did do the tutorial in game. These guides make it seem so complicated, and I'll sum it up for anyone later on that sees this. Whatever position you do first (I started as collector) you'll get a thing in your inventory, right click it and call out whatever shows up on the upper right hand side of your screen. The upper right hand side of the screen also shows what you need to do. That's basically it. It's pretty simple, and the team work when everyone else is actually trying does get pretty rewarding. The last wave which is 10 is a lil different, but it is fun.
Great guide got my torso in a few hours with randoms on 306! You have explained the defender role as a repeatable pattern. Very easy. I didn't worry about the multi kill much I just followed the procedure and it pretty much always worked.
first time i played barbarian assault (few days ago) i managed to get all the points i needed in attacker in a single full run. I've yet to try the other classes but it doesnt seem too bad yet
Got hacked yesterday and lost my full Bandos. Looks like I’ll be trying to do this for the torso to replace it. Should be fun trying to find people who will cooperate
The only achievement left for me for a while has been this challenge. Ive been screwing it off for over a year but now i need a torso for a master step so i guess its time to nut and shut up and get this done
I hate that they tied it to the achievement diary. It’s a way of saying, “We the devs know it sucks because it gets no community engagement, but rather than fix it we want people to suffer through it.”
Just did defender for the first time in years. Rando teammate asked how im luring the runners so efficiently lol. Shortly after, someone randomly left without saying anything at level 10 (the true BA experience).
Barb Assault wouldn't be too bad if the community wasn't so toxic. People out here expecting 5 years experience as a new player (new to BA) like a Dominos hiring manager

may i inform you that msbi is 2nd best after 3rd age bow, comp bow is used in combination with shortbows for the 1st shot while running up. Attackers and col run up west side to not mess with healers, they have no effect on runners. also mention that it is benefitial to stay as far west as possible for attackers and col not only just run up west. Appart from these small thingies prob by far the best guide for beginners

@@shotzeye3948 True but inventory space isn't an issue for attackers and collectors. I remember the damage being an issue during my earlier attempts so I'm a bit paranoid of it.
@@nocturn333 also forgot to mention when healers heal you for the 2nd time it removes the poison. If you get poisoned again then yeah need to heal twice again. If you got 2 healers or a lvl 5 healer you won’t die to poison unless you are doing ba at a very low hp and def. Also do you need a torso?

@@Matic6971 You can bring potions in, including anti poisons. I've done it in some of my runs but I've never seen any discussion of it.
