Good morning Isabelle, I know the plant dyed yarns werent your colour palette, but i absolutely loved them as they would be part of my palette. I liked all of the colour work patterns you showed, its a balancing act to pick the right pattern to suit your yarn. It was me who likes listening to the chimes. It really doesnt bother me at all. Have a lovely weekend Isabelle, you may be able to find a cool spot to knit during your summer heat 🩷🦘🐨🦘
Dear Kim, thank you for the comment on the wind chimes, others seem to love it too ❤️ Daydreaming about pattern to fit our yarn is such a fun and positive way to spend some time. Summer is a bit gone for now, I am rushing through another tee 💙 Sending you positive vibes and little stitches ✨
Bon matin Madame Isabelle 👋...un,deux,trois,quarte,cinq...🤭Vous ete tres interesante..tres sympatique.Merci for a great episode.I am enjoying a surge of colour work and colour play, particularly with low contrast/muted yarns at the moment.I loved how you went through possible choices for your next project👌.Have a cooler weekend, young lady 😘❤️👋🐨🌏xx
Bonjour Annie, merci ☺️ I’m not decided yet for the color work, so more happy times ahead ! After two grey and rainy days, the weather is perfect, less hot ☀️❤️Happy little stitches ✨
Modifying the top pattern to make something you will wear is great! We all have preferences and it’s most important to modify patterns so that what you make is wearable. Love it!
I enjoyed seeing all your purchases-quite beautiful things you were able to buy. It’s always fun to plan out what to make with the new yarn. I am planning a trip to Scotland next year and need to save $$ for buying more yarn. Then again, I still have some yarn from my trip to Shetland in 2019! Glad you didn’t get stuck in traffic. I’m in California and we’re used to having traffic all the time (at least in the bigger cities). Enjoy the summer weather….I’m longing for the cooler weather as we’re hot here!
Oooh, Scotland, perfect destination 😻 The summer weather turned into an early Spring weather, it’s been raining for 2 days. Now there is a bit of sun with cooler temps, just perfect too ☀️❤️
Hello Isabelle, your nostalgia top is very beautiful, I really like the summery color and it fits you very well! I was impressed with the yarn you bought and showed us. I particularly like the low contrast between the grey and the green-grey. I think only those 2 colors would make a very interesting combination. However I really like your idea of the draka sweater, I think it will look stunning! A spinner with solar energy is very interesting also, especially in combination with those small portable solar panels perhaps! I don't spin (yet), but I am in Greece so anything powered by the sun is intriguing as we have quite a lot of it 😅 Have a nice weekend!
Yes, I love Drake too. I hope you are not too hot right now and taking advantage of all your sun would be a good idea. I also am waiting to have a less busy working life to start spinning. I guess I’ll use an electric one right away given the reviews from the ladies there ❤️
Love your subtile - and quite unexpected for you - color combo for the future colorwork project. I am inspired now and will go check out your Ravelry bundle :) Thank you for another inspiring episode!
Dear Giedré, thank you much, the bundle is not stable and I still add or remove patterns as I let these ideas sink in. I’m on another tee for now ! Sending many cats cuddles 🥰
Hi Isabelle. I just want to say first how much I’m enjoying the Paris Olympics! Fantastic!!!! France has done a beautiful job. Although I’m really not getting anything done while it’s on 😊. I love the yarn selection. If I was to pick a colorwork based on your selections, I’m really drawn to the Ester, the Dibiasky and the Shifting Gears. So fun!!!
@@robyntoogook8060 Thank you, I am currently trying to work with a mood board for the color work and will add Esther. I have been working with Draka so far, I like the shapes of the colors very much and I do not have anything like this in my wardrobe 💙 Edit : and I am watching the olympics too. Try French national TV online, no or very little commercials 😺

Leticia, absolutely, we need to know and discover what we like and use our craft to build a wardrobe that we like and that is not imposed on us ❤️
Fantastic changes to your blue top! Brilliant!
@@valeriebishop561 thank you ! Easy to do and much easier to wear for me 😺❤️
I love that color blue of your top! I always love your enthusiasm and come away learning something every time 😘😘

@@isabelle.duchatelleoh yes, it’s also beautiful and I especially love the special “above the wrist” detail.
@@robyntoogook8060 well, we can add color work at the wrists if we feel like it, even if the pattern does not have any 😺
