@@pax41 Blessed and Festive Christmas to you and all your loved ones. Praying to make it the best Christmas ever! May the New Year 2022 be spiritually and materially prosperous for all.🙏🎄🎅✝️
As a regular and appreciative listener to your great music, I want to acknowledge the work that you do to acquire, restore, and put these recordings out for our enjoyment. I have been making comments each time I visit, but this time I want to get on a "soapbox" and encourage other listeners to this PAX41 channel to support your efforts and to give you something to help you with expenses. I don't have to buy records, CDs, amplifiers, turntables, etc. You have saved me a ton of money. I went to your GOFUNDME page and found it VERY EASY to make a small donation to help you. I know you do this for love, but this does not work at the record shop (if one exists) when you find these gems of musical history. I don't know any other way to help, other than encouraging others to easily send you an appreciative donation. 30
Larry thank you very much for your donation and support, it is greatly appreciated and needed. You are correct, the records and equipment do not come free. Most of my record purchases happen on ebay or online auctions and the average record runs about $6.00 to $10.00. The equipment is the most expensive, stylus alone runs around $250.00 each and to do a good job I need to have at least 4 different sizes/types. I use a Stanton turntable but two years ago they were bought out and discontinued making the cartridges and stylus. When my current ones wear out I am looking at having to purchase a different turntable. Also, Shure discontinued their line this year, thus why I have no choice but to replace the turntable. The turntable will run me about $400.00 to replace my current one. Just a bit of information for you and the others to be aware of. Thank You again for all your support.
Not too shabby!🤩 My new wife and I are _loving_ the romance of your compilation with our dinner… As Christmas approaches, our first together,🥰 we are truly thankful for small things such as your wonderful choice of music As we are So grateful for the big things ::: The birth, death, and resurrection Of our LORD and Savior Our Creator Jesus Christ. ✝️ May He richly bless all who read my little wish♥️
My Day was Brightened By these AWESOME Tunes today at Work! I Listened to this one twice! Wale working! I LOVE All of them! "Lullaby f The Leaves" is truly a FAVORITE! I First Heard it be Connie Boswell with the Dorsey Brothers, I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT! And love all versions of the song! Connie`s has a very Haunting Solo after the vocal! This Music should be POPULAR Today! Why? I Do not know!
Gracias Pax 41 por regalarnos esta excelente música, me hace añorar el pasado. Ciertamente no viví en esa época pero esa música es excelente y desde que la descubrí me acompaña todos los días y todo el día en mi trabajo.
On most of the posts from the last couple of years I have tried to match the music with visuals from the same year. All of the current posts that are what I call "year series posts, ie 1922 etc" the visuals are all from the same year as the music. Glad to see you noticed that, I don't believe anyone else has commented on that yet.
Have had internet issues today with dropouts. drats. But have enjoyed this collection very much. Soon December is upon us and the Christmas music seriously starts. Again, thanks for this compilation28.
Thanks for sharing this Bob. Clicked on this from the 'Up Next' after the 'Feel The Beat Of 1930s British Dance Band Music @Pax41' . The 2nd track is good, love it!

Another great collection of lovely songs! I look forward to listening to song collections every day while I work. I hear some songs I'm familiar with and many that I've never heard before. I don't know how you find all of these but thank you so much for doing it!
Susan so glad you are enjoying the channel! I have more records and files to post but just need more time. Wish I could devote full time to this but it doesn't pay the bills 🙂
Everything "happened in Chicago" in that era! The world-famous Chicago Exposition brought things never seen before and the audience was wowed. This second piece tells all about love found and lost at the big event in Chicago. Well done!
Another transporting set! Both the "rain" records are excellent -- love the songs and these versions. Victor Young's "Lullaby of the Leaves" is very nice, too.
Another superb compilation. I really appreciate the effort you put into these videos. Each one is a little time capsule into a bygone era. Thanks for the many hours of enjoyable entertainment.
September in the rain isn't in this post Veronique but Was It Rain is. I based the title on this video by the photo that you see displayed for this video.
