this video is literally the same as the past 50 videos you have on creatine.
Yes. And it's fine. The thing is, when new people look up things like this, unless a video is recent, they don't presume it to be relevant. Hence, creators have to make a transposed video of the same matter with tidbuts of extra information every year or two.

Creatine is just an osmolyte. It increases the intercellular water content, but not the actual contractile tissue.
lol i see the animations have improved!!! No neeed for it imo... ITs the information you rpovide that makes your channel awesome!

Just read the comments maybe
"diddly high bar squat" made me laugh much harder than I should have 🤣🤣
I actually made a video where I took creatine for 30 days. I got a comment saying that I looked bigger, but I didn't think I made much progress physique wise. Can you increase your strength more than a change in your physique after taking the supplement. I increased my squat 55lbs and now I squat 305. I also increased my other maxes drastically, but this lift was the most shocking.
I just came back to this channel. . Wow that mouth talking animation. I think that animation didn't there before. (Sorry bad English). Good job ❤❤❤

After finishing almost 500 grams of creatine, I am finally convinced that I am a no responder for creatine. Which is sad

I should try creatine again. I tried it while rowing but was concerned about weight gain. I went from 210 to 220, which isn't bad, but it was over a threshold that I wanted, and weight does affect boat speed.
"Creatine can lead to hair loss."
As a bald man, I don't have such weaknesses.
there is a study in creatine intake for women and it shows 1. that women are better responders to creatine and 2. it is mood enhancing while ur lutealphase and especially pms and its recommended to substitute it while pre-/menopause to regulate.
so all fellow gym girlies: give it a try, u can only win
Friend of mine gets the shits from it. I use triple the normal dose without side effects. Sometimes shit happens but I recommend it
I took Creatine and I always gotta wake up to pee at least once a night, hate the stuff now.
my hair lose increased. Started hair treatment & stopped creatine b4 I became bald
Id love a video on pre workout and how effective really it is
It's effective but mostly just because it's packed with sugar and caffeine. You're basically taking an energy drink before your workout.
@@Reddles37 You can mix your own prewo for a lot cheaper, with cleaner and more effective ingredients, prewo is on the verge of scam when you see all the underdosed ingredients, the creatine they add and the fillers.
I feel like guys just lost hair and blamed creatine lol
Can i gain some mass that i wont lose after stoping creatine?
Recently, when I started taking creatine again, I noticed it made me feel lethargic and tired for the rest of the day.
Maybe I'm taking too much for my weight (5g), or maybe the product I'm using is not effective or poor quality, it is a old batch i bought a couple years ago after all.
I'll buy a new pack and give it another shot at lower doses but I think I might have to hang it up permanently.
You might be the 25% that does not benefit from creatine
If you stored it in warm temperature it could have lost potency. I just started taking creatine a month ago, and it fires me up everyday and I'm built to the point where I made massive gains. Just by cheap creatine monohydrate as it's only like 15 bucks from GNC and try it once more. I also took 20 g per day during loading phase, and 5g everyday after while doing very intensive daily activities.
I should also mention I started strength training a month ago as well after being physically inactive for 3 years.
The most researched fitness supplement in the world, yet only 1 study on its effect on hair loss. Intere$$ting.
not one study about it, its one study "showing it causes hair loss" even then its not proof
Lol who makes money off it makin people bald? 😭😭😭
@@chukwu_9 Maybe all the companies who sell hair-loss related products?
There was one study that was supposed to happen about creatine and DHT in 2021, but it was canceled. I wonder why? After that happened i did a blood test of all my hormones including DHT before and after starting creatine. My DHT increased from 41 to 60( i forgot what the unit was, but you can calculate the % increase) this was after i achieved saturation, not during the loading.
@catguy7520 so creatine did or didn't affect that "hair loss" sex hormone?
What is an effective dose for creatine? Would 3g a day be enough?
3g is enough. If you are just starting, you can take 15-20 grams for the first 5-7 days to enter the loading phase, then lower it down to 3-5 grams per day after.
@@user-lq5hl1zk9iShould I take it even on the days I don't work out?
Take it Before it after work out?
does not matter. just take it daily to keep your levels high. your body can store it and when re up it will replace the storage. takes a few days taking it to get to max levels
One thing about creatine and hairloss. Is the research backing the claim that it does cause hairloss was found to be a fallacy. Most studys that do this fail to understand that creatine usage is mainly found in gym bros aka ppl who are active. People who are active in particular men have a natural increase in testosterone and THAT isnt because of the creatine thats because its user is active individual. That extra amount of test is what leads to chemicals in the body that cause hairloss. Those who don't take creatine are mostly ppl who don't do fitness at all and or barely care about it, these people are found to have worse levels of test across the board. So what happens is researchers mistake natural hairloss that would have occurred anyways and chalk it up to creatine usage because the small poll of the world that utilize creatine are 99% people who are fitness heavy and ppl who are more likely to lose their hair.
Not to mention most studys atleast recent have disproved creatine fault and chalk it up to more user error. Taking too much creatine (15-20gs or more) can increase DHT levels which cause hairloss but the recommended dosage of creatine is only 5g-10gs taking more is completely your fault and the hairloss that could follow is your fault as well not the creatine.
Creatine is not to blame for hairloss.
That's not the same testosterone (DHT) don't make such dumb statements man.
I can say that after lifting for many years at this point and trying creating on three seperate occasions, it absolutely accelerates my hair loss. There are so many anecdotes similar to this. I wouldn’t be so sure that it’s not to blame for certain people’s hair loss.
@@silis4645 The recommended maintenance dose is 0.1g/kg. Which is only gonna be 5-10g if you're 50-100kg

Sooo should I continue taking creatine while trying to get shredded? I’m pretty lean at 82kg and wondering if i stopped taking creatine would that make me look more aesthetic.
24 years on creatine, 0% hair thinning
Creatine allows you to work harder and longer and that causes you to produce more test and DHEA. If you took Creatine and didn't work out you wouldn't lose extra hair.
Also, like PictureFit said, the hair loss only affects men already susceptible to male pattern baldness.
Creatine lets you increase the weight on the bar and that's it
gonna double dose creatine from now on

Is it vegan?
Damn, you animated yourself. Nice.
Stopped with creatine for 3 months and my hair is going back fuller, hair was thinning like crazy on creatine.
I had the same thing happen. Took 4 months to get my hair back to it's original fullness
what i've never seen answered so far is: if someone is a " creatine non-responder" in terms of muscle gain and performance, does this also mean those people won't get anything from the cognitive benefits?
too early to tell, basically. we don't quite know how to determine who is a non-responder. we don't even know if there's one, two, or ten different reasons for being a non-responder.
_if_ you are a non-responder because your body makes enough of its own, and _if_ that creatine goes to the brain and not just your muscles, then yes, you won't get anything from supplementation.
but we'd need a ton more research to answer your question for sure.

#2 creatine
The only 2 supplements you'll ever need

-caffiene
The body makes creatine from amino acids in protein, so higher protein intake will also increase creatine levels somewhat. Just not as much as individual supplementation, obviously. Though in that case you can hypothetically make the list just 1 thing: protein
And vitamin deficiencies

I would think male pattern baldness is more the issue rather than creatine pattern baldness. I think it’s hard to say unless you’re able to get twins with no family history of baldness and have one of them take creatine and then another set of twins who were raised by balds and do the same thing and then ya know, study and check and whatnot
Is it or is it not a myostatin inhibitor? This is an over looked discussion.
im sorry but i cant tell if the video is satire or serious ...
You need to eat between 5 to 10lbs of meat to equal a scoop of creatine so it's unnatural in that regards. That's why I refuse to take it. I took it back in the mid 90s when it first was becoming popular on the market but stopped after my 2nd jar due to the fact that it didn't feel right after finding out that it naturally can't be taken in the same amounts. I didn't get any results from it either but I'm sure it's formulated much better now than back in 96/97.
Hello Picture Fit? Can you research and make a video related to If you have high blood pressure, can you weightlifting ?
Sorry about my bad grammer and english.
So basicly this is just clickbait video?.... what did we gain from watching this video? people most likely clicked the video thinking there is something bad about creatine i think or more information i dunno.
Am I the only one who feels picfit sounds a little low in this vid?
I find it very perplexing that these studies (usually founded by creatine affiliated companies) say it doesn't cause hair loss, but if you ever scroll the discussion or review section it's always in there
It's like eggs increasing your cholesterol, or too much protein being bad for your kidneys. No matter what the actual research says, these things just won't die because people are afraid of it and fear is a great emotion if you want to remember something. Also good for clickbait.
@@bultvidxxxix9973 kind of, but the "research" in these studies show no signs of it.
But, people who take creatine for a period of time, start losing hair and stop. Then hair magically starts growing back to It's baseline prior to creatine consumption.

I took creatine last year and my kidney is now having a problem. The filtration rate has decreased significantly to 50% and I'm now getting tired very easily.
Omg , that's too bad. Can you tell us more. Did you take a lot?
@@patriciofernandez6500 no, i'm taking it as reccomended. I did have loading phase and took 10mg for 3 days, after that i took 5mg each day. I'm sure i stay hydrated by taking 3-4L of water daily. At start of this year i did my medical checkup and found out about the decreased eGFR. I consult to doctor and now i must limit my protein intake to 50g/day and cannot take any supplements.
I possibly had a kidney stone because of creatine OR because of protein shakes. All in due process for the gains
0:23 and 6:53 almost contradict each other, it seems like creatine is not really the most researched dietary supplement in the world after all.
5:00 Is the reason why I am quitting creatine, plus the benefit has only helped with 1rm in the past. It's such a pain trying to deload as it requires avoidance of meats too not to mention supplement companies putting creatine in everything these days. PS: creatine will only accelerate hairloss if you don't consume much meat and already have high testosterone.
Source for your last sentence pls?
@emir6110 I don't have a source. It's just my experience. (And I am 50% bald, no it's not due to creatine.) Hairloss from creatine would be indirect from an acceleration of growth and with growth comes a greater need for nutrients. So if a person was a vegan most of their life (because creatine comes from animals) and they consumed creatine, they may find some astonishing gains and if they continued without increasing their intake of essential nutrients especially protein (what hair is made of) they could see a decline in hair growth which could potentially become hairloss.
There are many reasons why someone may lose their hair. The number one reason is due to a lack of nutrients. There are many ways to lose nutrients. The most common are sweat and the less realized, ejaculated (regardless of gender). Women carry more fat and less muscle, requiring less, making it easier to meet the nutritional needs to keep their hair.
I think the balding thing is like the myth that says masturbation causes acne
Even if you don't masturbate you will get acne in your teenager (teenager is the age that most guys knew about self excitement)
