What are your thoughts on Polearms. Was able to find a 2.3 weapon speed lvl31 blue that also applies a poison. I’m human so don’t get to use sword specialization but I think it’s worth the trade off.
I always say "you want a FAST two hander"... note this is not saying that SLOW = Bad, just that faster = better. There is no speed breakpoint here where if you are below 3.0 = good and above = bad. Just faster = more DPS... Slower = Less DPS Its up to you to determine whats best considering Cost... weapon type... Weapon DPS Difference... Stats... IF you look at weapons LONG enough you will begin to notice that 1.5 is the fastest possible for 1 handers... and 2.6 is the fastest for 2 Handers. You can COUNT the 2 handers faster than 2.6s on 1 hand but they do exist. IF you want a solid answer I try to keep it below 3.0s for 2 handers.
Awesome guide! I do have a question tho, if playing on Era (Non-HC) which LvL 20+ build would be best in your mind for PVP while leveling? Is Stam/Spirit viable in your eyes for this type of content?
While I assume that you aren't much of a healer, would these builds work for someone who wants to be a healing HPally in Hardcore? - Stam/Int/Spirit Gear all the way until Pre-BIS, picking up specific healing items along the way - Driftwood Club -> Knightly Longsword all the way until Pre-BIS, picking up specific healing items along the way (sticking to sword and board) - Blessing of Wisdom up at all times I understand that kill times will be kinda slow, but I can't seem to find any glaring issues either. I'm just a bit unsure about the best Talent Point distribution for a dedicated Healer/Quester for 1-60. I don't really care for AoE farming but I want to not feel like I'm fighting 1v1s with a pool noodle either. Would your Holy Shock 31/20/X build work for what I want? Obviously I would respec at 60 to deep holy but I'm thinking about being a capable quester as well. Keep up the good work m8!
Healing for Paladin in dungeons is about having a DEEP mana bar. Healing in groups open world, like Pally/X duo Spirt becomes more important. Stam/Int Holy Shock is fine... you're just going to be drinking a lot. Stam/Spirt is only SLIGHTLY better than Stam/Int in 1v1 leveling because there is almost no down time letting you lean on mobs with your base DPS constantly. Stam/Int want to turn mana into damage and drink like an irishman. When you have like 80 mage water to burn through as much as possible you will notice what I am talking about. Stam/Int + 2 Hander + DEEP Holy + Chug Mage Water = the way.
Hey pallytime do you think holy shock is worth picking up and adding into your fast rotation. Something like using spirit stam gear, pull with exorcism, then holy shock then judment of righteous, then finish with new seal of righteous and heal at the start of the rotation on the next mob.
Thanks for the guide. Do you have a chart of what rank of spell we should be using at lvl 60? For example as a int spell power pally you use SoR rank 3 over a higher rank. Are there any other spells where they prefer a lower rank? (other than flash of light r1 build)
Your guides are a god send! I’ve been wondering how you go to Silverpine Forest safely for the first grinding spot on your list? Just turned 21 tonight and wanted to purge some undeads. Also what level would you go to duskwood instead? Much appreciated!

I have been doing stam/int aoe farming pally and this is my experience, too. If aoe farming, I never use SoR (essentially only wisdom).
