PvP test level 60 paladin and again in TBC 2. Get Paladin to 60 in HC. Right now I leveling my PvP Paladin to 40's so he can chill in rested XP.

11/X/0 Stam/Int It will be a bit pricey on AH so take your time building it. You really just need a level 40-44 suit and you will make it to level 54 easy. By that time you live in BRD so it don't matter anymore that your gear is out of data. Use a Knightly Longsword.

What dictates what is GOOD or BAD to do depends on the persons goals. If my goal was to grow channel then I would... 1. Edit my videos 2. Talk a bit better or edit out a lot of the ums and such. 3. Have visuals and examples to go with the blah blah blah. 4. Write a script in theory but that doesn't work for me. 5. Pay some guys here in china to have THOUSANDS of fake bots to puff up my channel. And in general just spend more time on the vids. Sense I am doing NONE of that you have to ask "Is he stupid? Or does he have a different goal than to make his channel grow?" Obviously I am not dumb... and 350+ Videos and 5+ Years later the answer is "Paladin is a just an itch I need to scratch" I watch other vids and they are AWEFUL and SHORT... doesn't really matter... but that point you are like level 50+ and getting ready to LIVE in BRD for gear and such. Otherwise you head for Percision in Prot Tree

That doesn't really happen while leveling in Classes until you are in level 60 dungeons give or take. Most early mobs do rather sad amounts of damage. But lets assume this is the case. The first thing that happens is that the DPS learn to give the paladin a few more seconds before going Ham. This doesn't take very long. You can Blessing of Salv them as well for -33% Threat. Level 33 you get +60 more threat from your holy spells Level 38 you get seal of Wisdom. Moral of the story is that if X class NEEDS the tank to HOLD agro... and that tank is a Paladin = They best learn to wait 5-8s before attacking. You can also MARK targets Skull and X. Whatever target you are auto attacking will have NOTICABLY better threat on it. Most experianced players just attack the target you have judged wisdom on... so this isn't needed. Usually what happens is that you are moving at such a fast pace with Seal of wisdom + mana Regen that people spend 10s drinking while you have already pulled... giving plenty of time for agro to build up. You are Go Go Go with the healer... while the DPS are drinking to catch up.... gives plenty of time for agro... works great.

It's not the Arms and Fury, it's the Berserk stance and refusing to switch to shield when things get hot and heavy.

@@derrickbonsell And because he never invested much thought into Protection, he never learned to do those things. Some freeze, some try to run and some click the buttons they have learned to press in their leveling process. I assume it was not Protection he leveled in, so he never committed to muscle memory how he can mitigate damage in a pinch. So by my book it's also a spec problem, you can't learn what you don't use.

When I dungeon tank on a warrior on normal I will ask for bubbles to do large multipulls. The DPS just has to give it a second and understand I'm generating no threat while the shield is active.

Nvm made it to the part where you mention over aggro

There's another (more geared)warrior to pick up the slack and a mage to nova the melee and sheep the caster.

ngl even as a dps warrior, and even more so for hardcore, you should always have a shield on you incase over-aggro moments happen which would be the exact case here if he was supposedly dpsing, which makes him even more stupid for unloading before the tank

I'm a mage main, too. Seeing 2 mages in party and 0 crowd control or even counterspells is a whole other level of second-hand embarrassment.

100% they can... most spells crit for +50% damage. But some... mostly MELEE spells... will crit for +100% Damage.

The none-stam based gear is perfectly fine for none HC servers. On non-HC servers 50/50 is about as far as you want to take it. So like 50% Stam/INT and Spirt/Int gear. If you are AoE farming about 1/3 of your gearing Int/Spirt Gear is mathmatically correct. For Single Target Boar gear is good... Str/Spirt.

Depends if HC or not. Generally level 24-33 I buy a cheep 2 hander off the AH. Single target grinding = use a 2 hander... unless Hardcore naturally.

2 hander is fine if you got good internet connection OR you not HC

There isn't any phase 1 BiS Gear. T1 is unirronically BiS... you can check out Holy Shock/Reckoning guide when I tank abotu Phase 1 BiS in the final 1/3 of that video. T1 or Rank 10. Rank 10 doesn't exist and T1 will take you 4 months of raiding to get a full suit. Moral of the story is wait tell Phase 2 / BWL.

The chants are more for Heal Reck then Ret Reck. Just Forgot to swap them over. Missing 1% hit or not is a season to taste thing. Some Paladins can't stand it... some can. It alters your neck piece if your want 5% hit. I was going for a "This is gear even a casual Andy could get" otherwise swap the neck for onny tooth or something better. Stam on bracers and 100 HP to chest is objectively BETTER on virtually any paladin PvP Build. You really really need to try to hit your HP break points. And what happens when you take 100 HP to chest and 9 stam to bracers is that youc an Ware... say... an Onny Tooth Necklace rather then the tank one I have for +1% Crit and Hit. Or say the Don Juls ring. ++Stam Here = ++ DPS else where. Paladins in classic DO have a +Healing break point they REALLY want to try to hit. I think its 200-250 Plush Healing. It cuases your Holy Light x2 to heal for 500 more HP give or take (I forget the ratio) But without it HoL x2 = +3400hp and with it it is 3900hp... helps top you off and moves the needle more then anything. This gear has 20% crit in avengers final form... so more crit isn't needed which is what the 15 agi on gloves would get you. The healing will give you 60 more HP to play with after you bubble 2x HoL. It sounds SUPER DUMB taken in isolation to trade .75 crit for 60hp??? But watch that Drakova clip and tell me he's not happy to have 60 more HP by the end. Hard to explain but when the extra crit MATTERS maybe 1% of the time and the +60 HP MATTERS 3% of the time. You notice. The way I think of it is that if I am bubbling I am likely 20% life give or take. 20% of 5800hp = 1180hp... HoL x2 gives +4k HP give or take. So I am back up to 5200hp. 1 FoL would top me off... or I can just do aggression from there. With the thicker mana bars +Healing is a legit stat. Assuming you have everything else you need. In AQ and Naxx gear there are a number of Str/stam/Int +Healing bits that are worth taking getting your +Healing up to 300 easy. Really its just season to taste though. Paladin builds have about 10% Stats that are "Flexible"... so for example you could remove 1 RING from every Paladin build and it wouldn't change the outcome of 95% of your fights.

@@pallytime2156 What do you think about swapping into Hammer of the Twisting Nether and Shield of Condemnation mid combat to get 550 + healing spell power or would that remove all reck stacks to be in vain to switch at all ? Also what do you think about Blazefury Medallion ? i never seen you talking about it in any video and i've watched quite a few hehe, it literally doubles your procs chance of SoR SoJ and something else i forgot, probably everything outside of concecration, it would make any reck or deep ret paladin that much more lethal in pvp.

@@PenanceTM That's a good idea the healing swap. But for Ret Reckoning. Ret Reck heals in bubble and they won't have reck stacks at all. Also its easier to get those +healing weps because of rank 14 gear. Pretty sure Bazefury Medalion doesn't do what you are saying it does because if it did Drakova would have told me. Even if it does... good luck getting that off of Lord Kazzak. I know it causes extra procs but I can't remmber of what.

@@pallytime2156 I mean even Storm Gauntlets gives you a double chance of procing vengeance as i have tested it myself, although i am not sure if it procs SoR and SoJ, did not go that deep into it as there is a video already out there for it. Also it seems that Blazefury Medallion does + 1 physical damage and not fire making it that much more valuable than any gear piece paladin can equip.

@@PenanceTM I recall me and Drakova tested EVERYTHING back in the day. Black Grasps of the Destroyer... do the resist trinkets Stack if x2 used... Some proc on hit leather gloves.... all teh weapons... Nothing really stood out to us as being worth taking over the raw stats other then Thick Obsidian BP. Can always find more damage on your paladin. Question is is it worth the opportunity cost. You have that 10% Stats flexability I talked about so season to taste.
