This was the next to last song from a 1 hour and 53 minute concert. The previous song was Let There Be Rock with the 17 minute guitar solo from Angus (in the shorts). You need to check out this whole show. The crowd was like this for the whole show. 220,000 people over 3 shows.
I’ve seen AC/DC numerous times live since 1991. They usually open the encore set with “Highway To Hell.” You should check out “Whole Lotta Rosie” from the River Plate show.
Hard to say it cuz it's AC/DC, but the crowd is kinda the highlight of this concert. Whole lotta rosie is madness. Look closely when the whole band kicks in at the beginning... theres like a dozen mosh pits going on the floor. But this song is tops for the concernt. The crowd is shaking the stadium. Look at the large screens on stage. When the shot being shown is from a camera far away, you can see the shaking; the camera cant hold the shot still. Insane.
You're right you're exactly right. This is an anthem to us. For every headbanger coming out of the 70s. And to all future generations. Rock on. Agreeing with a comment you need to listen to the studio version.
First singr was Bon Scott who died of alcohol fb 1980. Band Saw Brian Johnson at a club who was actually having a seizure on stage and thought it was part of his act and liked what they saw and brought him into the group. One of the few groups to replace lead singer and get even bigger.
According to Johnson himself, after his audition he told the others that he had to go home and get ready to work in the morning. They told him not to worry about his old job because his new job was being their lead singer.
PLEASE do For Those About To Rock (Studio version). AC/DC should definitely be experienced live, but the studio version of For Those About To Rock just shows Brian Johnson in his prime. There is a live version other than River Plate that would be a good option as well!
I always love the unmistakable crunchy sound of the Gibson SG in this song. It really stands out as the right guitar for this group and their signature sound.
The AC/DC concert at Doncaster Race Circuit has a really good version of Thunderstruck. Whether RUclips would allow it???? A quote of Brian Johnson when asked how he developed his singing style was; "Gargling with gasoline".😯
Here is a list that you should try (in any order): -Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) -Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian) -Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) - The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian) - Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon) - Thunderstruck - Live at River Plate or Donington - (with Brian) -For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
You said in your reaction that Brian must take lots of honey to keep his voice like this. He was asked this at an interview "I have never used any form of lubrication for my voice " I still smoke. I know I shouldn't He did 3 songs at a festival this summer at age 75 Still going strong BTW people refer to AC/DC as an Australian band but the Young Brothers were both born in Scotland. Brian is from Newcastle
Most of Brian's voice is just a trait common in the Northern parts of England (He is from Newcastle England, not far from where Angus, Malcolm, and his predecessor were born, near Glasgow Scotland, they moved down under when they were kids). The industrial, cold salt and sea in his voice is called "Geordie voice" incidentally, he was recruited into ACDC after his other band Geordie took a tank. Geordie is a term for the northeastern England guys. I think it is comparable to "redneck' or hillbilly, or something similar in the US to represent a life style, but more a regional life style. Without that voice, there is no way he could have taken over after Bon died.
Have you seen Queen live in Buenos Aires 1981? Two concerts each with a crowd of 250,000, though reputedly much bigger. Try it, the Portuguese-speaking crowds singing in perfect English. Unbelievable!
Actually, the song is about a monstrously long road in Australia and the band had to travel somewhere but it took many many many hours and it was so long and boring, they wrote a song about it. Australia is a MASSIVE country...!
No offense Brian Johnson did good I love back in Black album but my ultimate ultimate favorite is the Bon Scott era nobody not nobody could compare to BON ❤️
The "highway to hell" was the elevator ride Australian copper miners took at the what was then called the Olympic Dam project at Roxby Downs in out back South Australia. Bon Scott worked there for a little while before becoming the original lead singer of ACDC. When you going down that elevator to the 800 meter platform, its really feels like a highway to hell. I know I've don't that trip.
No it is not. It was about a dangerous intersection in (Canning Highway) Fremantle where people would blow the stop sign and get killed. Usually on Saturday night and usually after having too much to drink
You can always tell how far thru an AC/DC concert you are by how many clothes Angus is wearing!
Omg how on gods good earth can this be your first time hearing this song . Omg man this is ACDC!
The highway is along the coast in Perth Western Australia where original singer Bon Scott was from.
Most of AC/DC's songs fall into "anthem" territory, but Highway to Hell just fits soooo much better. Great reaction to them!
Wellcome to the BEST CROWD EVER!!! GREETINGS FROM ARGENTINA!!
Phil Rudd is an absolute pocket player on drums. He rocks.
Back In Black, Dirty Deeds, For Those About to Rock, Whole Lot of Rosie, in the studio first.
This was the next to last song from a 1 hour and 53 minute concert. The previous song was Let There Be Rock with the 17 minute guitar solo from Angus (in the shorts). You need to check out this whole show. The crowd was like this for the whole show. 220,000 people over 3 shows.
Man I wish I could erase my memory and have my first time with AC/DC again.
Ha love your reaction my dude
"Hopefully this should be good" - oh yes!!
I love this video bc of the crowd, it gives off so much energy through the screen to where you wish you were there 😃
I’ve seen AC/DC numerous times live since 1991. They usually open the encore set with “Highway To Hell.” You should check out “Whole Lotta Rosie” from the River Plate show.
As we say here: "you lucky bastard" :)
Hard to say it cuz it's AC/DC, but the crowd is kinda the highlight of this concert. Whole lotta rosie is madness. You shook me All night Long from River plate is a great video also.
Yep. Now that's some really good Rock n Roll! There's a lot of great music out there.
the best music band in the best stadium (River Plate!!!!!)
Its not like an anthem...it is The Anthem😊❤
You're right you're exactly right. This is an anthem to us. For every headbanger coming out of the 70s. And to all future generations. Rock on. Agreeing with a comment you need to listen to the studio version.
Every time i hear them it takes me back to my first car in 79 .Cursing the lake front with the Jet Sound EQ cranking Back In Black Great times
Cursing 🤪
@@steddie4514 Maybe i should not have cut spelling classes to go cruising so much Thanks
That's how he sounds when he talks too!! Love the raspy voice!!!🎶🎼🎵🥁🎸🎹🎤🎙🎧🤘🤘🤘
This is true. This IS an anthem. Not only for AC/DC, but for Rockn'Roll.
"It's like an anthem". It is THE anthem.
The drums are a major force for AC/DC. Simple and as loud as the rhythm guitar
Agreed. Basic drumming definitely has its place.
First singr was Bon Scott who died of alcohol fb 1980. Band Saw Brian Johnson at a club who was actually having a seizure on stage and thought it was part of his act and liked what they saw and brought him into the group. One of the few groups to replace lead singer and get even bigger.

The Jack . Same concert

Must also watch this with Bon Scott on vocals.
me da pena que el resto del mundo no sea argentino, deben tener un sentimiento sin desbloquear
This was their first encore , thus Angus’ entrance .
Luv this .. 👍🏼 Thnx Salvog
You need to hear the studio version. I love Brian but Bons vocals are stellar on this one.
Bon was the man, and he never blew out his voice
i've seen acdc a few times, love them. but, all bon's songs are much better with bon's voice.
It’s not an opener. ANGUS has chucked his shirt.
shirt, hat jacket, you can tell how deep they are into the concert by how many clothes he has on lmao
Simple the best,
Thunderstruck and Whole Lotta Rosie from River plate 😄
I always love the unmistakable crunchy sound of the Gibson SG in this song. It really stands out as the right guitar for this group and their signature sound.
I always refer to AC/DC as good old meat & potatoes rock n roll ! Can't go wrong with them.
You should reaction to AC/DC with Bon Scott because its 43 years since he died
Its anthem :)
Back In Black, Who Made Who, and Rock And Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution are just three of their best songs, check ‘em out
react to more ac dc live in river plate, thunderstruck, shoot to thrill, rocknroll n train
Should react to Let There be Rock from River Plate it's like 20 minutes long
The AC/DC concert at Doncaster Race Circuit has a really good version of Thunderstruck. Whether RUclips would allow it????
A quote of Brian Johnson when asked how he developed his singing style was; "Gargling with gasoline".😯
RIP ANGUS😇😇😇🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😇😇😇😇🎸
El Estadio de RIVER PLATE es en Buenos Aires, Argentina 👍👍👍

I still smoke. I know I shouldn't

Sincerely you need to check out the song Big balls with Bon Scott as the lead singer is hilarious! The double entendres are outstanding!
You need to listen to the Official HD Video version of .... Who Made Who ... Fun song that makes you want to get your day started.
Have you been living under a rock. This rock song is propably the most campus of all time
Angus had his shirt off, he starts fully clothed, so this wouldn't be the opening.
Whole lotta rosie is probably the best performance in that concert
Most of Brian's voice is just a trait common in the Northern parts of England (He is from Newcastle England, not far from where Angus, Malcolm, and his predecessor were born, near Glasgow Scotland, they moved down under when they were kids). Also, Brian and Angus famously, relax backstage before each show and drink tea, and smoke cigarettes endlessly.
This is encore. Angus is already shirtless lol
If you ever saw the animated movie, Megamind, you definitely heard this song along with a whole bunch of other classic rock hits.
Please do “for those about to rock” from the same concert… it was always the final encore, and involves cannon fire. I have seen other reactors do it.
Sal you have only heard highway to hell once? That's crazy 😧 Try Those about To Rock Original studio version
Have you seen Queen live in Buenos Aires 1981? Two concerts each with a crowd of 250,000, though reputedly much bigger. Try it, the Portuguese-speaking crowds singing in perfect English. Unbelievable!
Spanish in Argentina
No Portuguese in Buenos Aires. Spanish, instead
You should be able to run "Whole Lotta Rosie".
This isn't the first time you have ever heard Highway to Hell. Come on man, what do you take us for? A bunch of Trump voters?
Check out The Jack from River Plate or Whole Lotta Rosie.
Encore, he's not wearing his trademark jacket, tie and shirt.
Just for info, those Phil Rudd drums are anything but easy, or simple.
My dad describes AC/DC as big dick music and i think that's pretty accurate.
Reacts to mercyful fate satan's fall live in wacken please ✌🏽🤘🏽
Listen to the original with Bon! Brian is good, very good. But the song is even better with the original voice of AC/DC.
There were NEVER fights during any old Rock shows...
Very different from many venues todsy... jus'sayin!
Pet peeve, intros before the video. Your channel your prerogative. Visit Brian's channel on RUclips to hear his speaking voice.
You gotta do "Highway To Hell", with Bon Scott. He does it so much better than Brian...
Still prefer Bon Scott vocally
Not the same with out Malcom young it’s just not
