Rotational grazing is overlooked today. This man gets it. he's actually helping the environment through rearing pigs, while those mono-crop mega farms are having to chemically spray its nutrient devoid dirt to raise soy, wheat and corn. Good for this dude! "It's not the cow, its the how"
Vitaly Kroychik yes he is rotational grazing is very overlooked today especially those big farms who have high demands from big market buyers to them all they see is money and not caring about the overall operation of land and product
This host is great. Love the dudes passion for his homeland! Great wisdom mate, keep up the work Eater. You've been putting out some great content recently
I love how educational EATER video's are... I've learned sooooOO much! Thank you guys for this wonderful channel! I'll make sure to share this channel to the world.. Thanks again.
Had Kailua Pig in Honolulu airport before departing Sept for Mainland. Nice to see sustainable farming in Hawaii and natural food supply. Great job . Good video .
Dis is what I’m talkin about not only is this braddah taking care of da people of Hawai’i with good quality pork but also taking care of his land like a big recycling movement with every animal serving its purpose 🤙🏼
Ervin Andallo ok i just checked kailua beach, it looks beautiful and i think i will need to rent a car for a few days to venture out east. im so excited!
Nice...give the little piggies a happy life...but yeah...I’m sure they make a mean lau lau...I love the permaculture principles you use on your farm🤙😋😀
Come to Ireland... Almost all animals are farm reared. They don't have the label of "free range" because apart from the supermarket shit they all are. Try anything and it will blow your mind. I know as I have traveled a lot of the world .
Reaching out to you my son lives in Hawaii Hilo wants to raise a few pigs started a chicken coop I noticed on your page that you raised pigs, chickens, and goats, and I'd like to get your thoughts of getting him pigs chickens and a couple of goats let me know what you think
They look happy. Too bad they will be eaten. 😟 At least let them have a good and happy life before they are slaughtered. This is how we should raise our animals.
The video showed more than one group of pigs. He is probably minimizing mixing and regrouping because of the stress and aggression that it causes. The group of sows shown with the boar could be having two litters each per year of maybe a dozen piglets. He probably has another group of sows on the farm that are not with the boar because they are pregnant or nursing.
This is the way it is. To give life you got a sacrifice one. Big props n respect to this man giving the animals a good life before their ultimate sacrifice
I get that. I guess the piglets are continuously culled for pork until the breeding generation is too old to keep going, and that's when you need new genetic material.

if no can, bottle OK!
Big Island!!! Represent!!!
I love the way he's farming the pigs but I think pigs need a little cold weather for ultimate taste from the pigs but these are close to the best.
The mineral rich volcanic soil must produce an amazingly nutritious meat :)
Really enjoyed this!
This is how all pigs should be treated
Kunekune pigs! Same ones you can find in NZ!
Aloha Brandon, Do the wild boars from the forest ever try to jump the fence for some Berkshire sow action when they are in heat?
Awesome! Im trying to be a pig farmer! 🐷🐖. Gonna study in college soon, then hopefully get some work in a farm
Definitely would like to see the butchering process or possibly a dish prepared with these hogs

Love your passion,
Well done Bro
Cholo cooking channel podcast and American cholo podcast. Respect ✊
You can see the ocean from his field. What will prevent manure flowing down into the ocean during heavy rains?
Do they breed the Mangalista pig there as well?

Mahalo
Dude has like 9 pigs ONLY in this vid... I hope he has more than that in real life....
The video showed more than one group of pigs. He is probably minimizing mixing and regrouping because of the stress and aggression that it causes. How many pigs do you have?
Promised Neverland in real life
Problems with the upload
piggy fast
Pig-Dog.
"owaii"
kinda bums me out knowing they're being raised for consumption cause they're so cute. not saying i'm going vegan...just bums me out a bit
Why? they're going to become Kalua pork , they go for greatness.
Dustin Hu at least they had a great life but I totally understand what you are saying.
This is the way it is. To give life you got a sacrifice one. Big props n respect to this man giving the animals a good life before their ultimate sacrifice
Isn't there risk of inbreeding if you don't have more than that one boar?
You can import pig semen and artificially inseminate.
Female breeding stock is much more valuable
I get that. I guess the piglets are continuously culled for pork until the breeding generation is too old to keep going, and that's when you need new genetic material.
You want inbreeding you keep the breeding stock pure.
RBuckminsterFuller you keep inbred pigs for breeding stock, and then the ones you cross you eat
THEN are not pure bread
pork
Most expensive pork in the world 😃
Always concerned with how they are killed?
jeju black pork is best
bacon!
They look like Trump and Steve Bannon.
First! Ya'll slow asf
Alex Urdinarrain you're first on an eater video, they post frequently, it isn't pewdiepie, you achieved something in life didn't ya?
Homestuck Kawaii
You just pissed that he kicked ur FUKKING ass in first posting
jojojaykay I'm not. I'm just saying insulting people for not being first on an eater video is dumb XD
It's only dumb to you because you were too dumb to get here first.
jojojaykay How does being smart allow you to get here first? XD
Not a good idea to keep pigs with other animals.
They will eat baby chicks, lambs, and baby goats.
They are separated by a fence so no worries mate
first!! or not? lol
yamatrek totex I think so. 😑😑😑😑😑
Pork should be banned
He seems like such a cool dude.
