People are saying she oversold the foundation, but I don't see it. I think she spent more time talking about the beauty blender than the foundation? I think she described the foundation thoroughly like I'd hope she'd do with any product, and she wasn't pushy about it in any way. I never felt like she was selling it to me. Plus it looks like a beautiful foundation!
The highlighter actually looks so lovely on you! I might pick it up as I find sometimes powder highlighters are a bit too intense. I am also in love with the lip shade, suits you so much x
Alix have you ever considered to pluck you eyebrows a little bit in the inner side to make it thinner lika in the outer corner. I had the same issue with mine and after i did it my eyebrows looked better.. like they're finally right treated :) Btw.. I like your makeup in this video
+Murfeishun I know you meant well but as a 30 something year old I can tell you that plucking more isn't the solution. I used to have nicer brows when they were thicker. Over plucking when you're younger is a mistake. I did that and now I regret it.
I think u both didn't understand me well.. I mean she can consider plucking just one milimeter not doint something drastic like one line brow. And of course I know that her audience is not only 20years old girls. I never ever had thinner brows or something you've described :)

I wish I would have seen that Archery liner and gel when I was in London a couple of months ago. I picked up the other Archery pencils, which I'm still totally in love with!
I loved the look but the eyeshadow application was a bit messy on one eye. On the left eye it looked like you winged the eyeshadow more than the right one.

can i just ask where do you put your beauty blender once you're done? i literally had mine for 2 days and i left it open on my make up desk and it collected bacteria with black spots and that's $30 down the drain

+Marina hoi I use my beauty blender every day and always put on top of the container it came in to dry. I wash it every other use with the liquid beauty blender cleanser. Hope that helps!

Really pretty look. I personally dont think glowy make up should only be worn in summer. In fact i wear glowy/luminous foundations more in winter when skin can get more dry and dull. In summer your sweating anyway so prefer matt products
I know a trick and that is putting powder underneath your make up, concealer, whatever you use... but it always looks very matt and unnatural then... so I always try just not to touch my face the entire day XD
I wish it wasn't so hot & sweaty in Australia so that I could wear dewy foundations and not wear powder. But even with dry skin it only lasts 5 seconds because it is sweaty. Your brows look amazing, wish mine looked like that.

I loved the look and i understand you have to make money from youtube; that it's your job. But you over sold the foundation way too much and i feel like sometime youtubers forget we are real people too and not just a few comments or numbers on a screen and that we know when something isn't 100% authentic. it's just a shame because to some, your credibility gets questioned.

Nope. I'm from the Uk (don't consider myself a guru) but I don't get any sun, it upsets my skin (don't ask why I honestly don't know why haha) but I'm bright white all year round.

If you didn't like something someone was wearing/someone's make up in the street would you walk up to them and tell them? No, of course not because it's unnecessarily rude. Just because you're behind a screen doesn't mean your words don't hurt people. Just think before you type, seriously.
I don't think foundation was oversold at ALL in fact I would have liked to have heard a little more about it! Compared to some Ads this was very reasonably presented. Secondly, the brows are perfect - no need for overplucking here! Strange to see such a lot of undeserved criticism here.

I love glow, all year. I tone it down in the fall/winter, but let's face it, skin isn't matte. I love healthy glow and a skin-like finish and love it.
