Thank you, thank you, thank YOU! This video has brought up so many great and bittersweet memories, the struggles, the joy everything - it's incredibly nostalgic, just like everything really beautiful in life - bittersweet and touching. The video structure, montage, script and narration - were Perfect, with a capital P. You have a talent and you put it to THE PERFECT use. Thank you, for making this video and giving me a tearful 30 minute ride into the story that I grew up with. I shed some tears, bittersweet ones and ones of joy, may they be in your good spirit - this video has made my day, and THAT, has not happened to me for a very, very, very long time.
Whoever you are, be happy, may the Universe bring you joy, because at least for those 30 minutes, today, you made me forget all the misery and suffering, the depression and bleak outlook with a sense of emptiness that penetrated my life for the last few months... you made me remember - that life is cruel, harsh, but there are moments of beauty and they are worth standing up for.
This video of yours, is one such moment for sure. Thank you my dear friend, I type this with a tear rolling down me cheek, remembering all the bad shit (as much if not more than I did in the last couple of turbulent months), but then it also gave me hope - made me remember, that there is a place for beauty, no matter what. No matter how much hurt you get by other people, after all - the only thing that can GIVE you back as much joy and love to heal it - are the same very people.... like you.
Much love, from an anonymous stranger from the internet. May your life be full of joy and moments of true bliss!

I’m so grateful to be able to make videos and give people experiences like the one you had. It’s a real blessing for me to be in this position and your comment has really motivated me to do my best.
I’m really humbled that I was able to give you a fun 30 minutes, hopefully I’ll be able to give you more as I keep making videos.
In all honesty, it’s been difficult for me to keep going, but after reading this comment, I know that I will never, ever stop.

It's kinda funny how two years ago, people were mad at the ending. Then the anime fixed a lot of things (well, Isayama himself did since he wrote the script) and now everyone understands it better and even if fans are sad, they can see why it's brilliant.

To me what makes Hange so special is her sense of wonder, excitement and passion. Throughout the whole series she uses (deductive) reasoning and out-of-the-box thinking to learn more and speculate about the titans. Theorizing about its mysteries, the titan powers and origins were just the best parts after each episode for me. That knowledge brought us more anti-titan weapons and improved ODM gear, whereas knowledge is power (especially in war). Hange didn't die, her spirit lived on in their weapons, tactics and lore which proofed crucial in the end battle to defeat Eren.
She was the embodiment of science in the survey corps using innovation and rationality/logic pushing humanity forward. This is also why Hange always kept the bigger picture in mind and was able to put everything in perspective. Even at the end of the line, Hange retained her goofiness or light-heartedness and humor which makes her (probably) my favorite character in AoT.

    • @mocha13
      @mocha13  8 месяцев назад +10

It might be stupid for me to single out a single death, but Hange’s death definitely hit the hardest for me, especially because she had the ability to not die and sacrifice one of her soldiers instead. She had a heavy burden thrusted upon her and never once complained because she knew that was her duty. The perfect Scout.

This show is so phenomenal that the fact that it's over, will be a huge blow to anime. In the 10 years Attack on Titan has aired, there has never been a show with such depth, uniqueness and story that Aot has given us. And who knows when the next AOT will come out. And i don't mean a sequel, I mean in terms of the impact that AOT has had. There may never be another show that will ever reach the heights that attack on Titan has reached. The amount of care, effort and work that was put into this anime, is truly phenomenal and the effects of such hardwork is so easily visible in the end product. Attack on Titan is a magnificent piece of art, and unfortunately, with the current state of anime I don't think anything will ever come close to this. Thank you Isayama.

I really enjoyed this video, and after finishing the Final, Final, final season yesterday, my heart broke knowing this journey has come to an end, and how crazy it was that I picked this up 10 years ago. For me Isayame will forever remain up there with Hiromu Arakawa who created something that will remain the classics for past, present, and future Anime viewers. I loved the journey, I remember the days when only 50 or so chapters of Manga were out for AoT, reading it over and over and discovering how in depth it became. Although the Manga ended a bit differently, I enjoyed the addition the animated piece added to Eren, Mikasa, and Armins journey. Dedicate your Hearts, and thank you Anime for bringing so much joy

Apparently, one of the animators stated on twitter that the blonde man we see with Mikasa is Armin (so that rules out her marrying Jean). He also said the baby is adopted. So according to him, Mikasa did not find another man after Eren. But then again, while it’s nice to get information like that from an animator, it isn’t the same as the information coming from Isayama who left it purposefully ambiguous. I’m not sure which of the two possibilities I prefer, I honestly don’t mind either.
And I didn’t notice the worm at all, that’s an amazing catch! None of the reaction channels I watch noticed it either. Love the cyclical nature of this show.

This show started it all for me. I had been watching some anime that was airing on TV like DBZ, Naruto and One Piece. But it was only after my cousin showed me this anime back in 2014 that I realized there was this whole world of anime out there outside of main stream channels with amazing stories, that I had no idea about. It has been nothing short but an amazing journey, filled with all kinds of emotions. Full of joy, suspense, adrenaline rush, heartache and depression and numerous unforgettable memories. For that, I will always be grateful to AOT. The scouts were always a constant companion throughout this time and I can't help but feel sad about a chapter in my life ending. But I'm so incredibly grateful for being able to have witnessed this masterpiece of fiction. I can only hope that unlike Eren's grave in the credit scenes, this story won't be forgotten by later generations and live on.

Oh wow, the tears falling down my face as the ending montage rolled in, made me real emotional and nostalgic. This show has followed me for 8 years. From a sensitive 15-year-old teen not knowing who she is or her place in the world to a 24-year-old more comfortable in her skin and knowing a lil bit more about everything really. Edit: Basically I grew with the plot of the series metaphorically, from being a naive and curious child with a simple life being confined in one city with my family as guardians, not truly having freedom till graduation and having hopes about what the future looks like and what the world is like. Then I explored new places and learned about the realities of society as an adult and that not everything I thought and expected as a teen would turn out to be what I hoped for. I still don't have freedom per se, even though I'm more independent. I think everyone who is human can relate to the story in this way.
At the end of the final episode, I realised it was the end of a many-year-long journey, I've never cried so much over an ending before. I'm so grateful it came around during my formative years and made me see things from different perspectives and the fundamentals, happiness and pain of just being human in this world. I will forever recommend this story to everyone I meet in my life moving forward and one day I'll show it to my children If I have them, even grandchildren if so. A timeless masterpiece, thank you Isayama.

I can’t think of any show with that many hard hitting plottwists or similar shock moments. Very good shows always have moments like that but AOT gave us at least one per season, with the last two having many more. The shire quantity is astonishing. The most impressive aspect about all of that is that they’re not getting boring or predictable. Every single time it hits like truck.

I remember my cousin watching this back in 2013 he was so hype about it ( a lot of people in fact), I had some time without watching anime (always been a fan) but I stared watching it and men we really was on ever since, a lot of good memories, always waiting for every season, didn’t matter how long they took we knew it was going to be good, is a very unique show, the ability to have you on the edge, the history behind it, the mystery, putting all the puzzles together trying to uncover a history of 2000 years, all the turns it took, every character, the period of time in which it was based on, is been 10 years of an amazing experience, is gonna be tough to not be waiting for a season of this show, and I know it won’t be another second part to this but I’m damn sure we will have another remake perhaps with more action better quality and more sequences. Thanks attack on titan that was one hell of a ride.

I first discovered AoT out of boredom via the Nintendo Eshop, which was running a promotion with the 3DS game releasing around 2015 to have the first 2 episodes on the Eshop for free. While it didn't hook me then, it was my introduction, and later on I ended up getting absolutely hooked and watching the entire series with my brother. And despite waiting each week for the new episode, the LONG waits between seasons, and the painful cliffhangers each episode, the series never left my mind, and it became the one anime I always was excited to see change and evolve each episode. My fondest memory was the glitch ending at Episode 49, not knowing what would happen next, and being super excited for what would happen next (except that was also the end of part 1 of Season 3 so I had another long wait lol)
I rewatched the entire series with my brother leading up to the final episode, and even though it had been many years since I saw the beginning of AoT, it still held up insanely well, and any complaints I had were small nitpicks that really didn't matter in the whole picture, and seeing all the foreshadowing and setpieces all over again was just amazing. This show is an absolute masterpiece, from the insanely polished animation, the incredible soundtrack, the top-notch writing and characters, it's the once-in-a-lifetime anime that I'll probably remember for as long as I live as the pinnacle of anime storytelling.
AoT is currently, and maybe will always be, my favorite anime of all time, and I am stoked to see what else Isayama decides to create.

Completely agree. I don’t think I will ever watch another anime as good as AoT, which is a shame, but it’s a testament to how talented Isayama is, but also credit to WIT and Mappa for their amazing work too.
