Hi World Mechanic, Big fan. You made 200 videos on the Journey, So will you know if some other car parts fit Journey? Like Dodge Nitro, or Caliber parts? Because I can't find my journey parts in car auto salvage yard where I live, only many Dodge Nitro. Everyone says Journey & Nitro have same Window switches. I ordered right switch that was off a Nitro, & worked for Journey. But I'm not sure about the Master Switch. I haven't ordered the Master yet.
Worked like a charm on my 2014 Town and Country. Got a new one on Amazon for $30+ that even included a little plastic tool to pry up the old switch. Took me 3 Minutes to do the exchange that would have cost way over a $150 at the dealer. Did it yesterday everything worked fine. If it fails soon, it is not the installation seen here but the product. If problems, I will send back to Amazon. Most IMPORTANT. My T and C is a Limited. Make very sure you order the correct switch module. FYI, this video shows two plug ins on the back of the switch. My Limited only had one...the smaller of the two. I took a picture of mine and had it front of me when I ordered. On Amazon there was also a search feature to make sure it fit my make, model and year. Strongly recommend using this search feature. Another example of RUclips saving me a bundle. Thank you.
Thanks so much for this video, saved me hours of work on my Journey, manual says to remove the whole door panel for this. . . so glad I didn't go through that!
Thank you for a great video. My window was left open by mistake on a rainy night and some of the switches were not working. Your video helped me to correctly remove the door module without damage (which is what does not happen at workshops)... I actually just used my hands with help of my fingertip nails... And blow dry the unit and plugs underneath with nice warm air. Fitted it back and worked perfectly! I think I saved hundreds of dollars cos they would have likely replaced the whole unit. Thanks again!
I have a 2010 Dodge Journey I just bought at an auction and the Window Control was broken and I ordered one on Amazon I watch your video and I did it! The new controller works great, thankfully. The hardest part was the big boy off, but I watched how you wiggled the old controller off while holding down the clip and that's how I eventually got it off. The big boy was much harder to get off.
After watching your video I tackled this project myself. It took 15 minutes total. Thirteen of those minutes was in trying to pry off the big connector. Thank you for the helpful video.
Any recommendations for where I could get a good quality one of these? for some trails the last 2 I've bought, the buttons keep popping off. Especially the Auto one for the driver side window. Thanks, and great video.
Hey if my passenger window of the same car in this video isn’t working. My driver side and back windows work fine. My question is if I just switch the passenger side with a new one will that fix the problem?

Mine has a buzzing sound when pushing the auto button and all other window buttons don't work. mirror and lock buttons work. Change out switch and swme problems. Any suggestions on a fix?
It’s the wires wrapped in the black tube like thing. They said overtime they break because of opening and shutting the door. You are supposed to take that black tube off and look for your wire. Fix it and put the tube back on it and ready to go
Watch the video. The whole module pops out and a new one is pushed down in after plugging in the connector on the back. Good Luck...If I can do it...anyone can!
I replaced the fuses and I replaced the switch module. The only thing that works on the switch module is the power locks and the side mirrors buttons. None of my windows open only my passenger window but only from the passenger door switch. Idk what else to do please help

@@lapingocha5 I had to order a different one, it goes by the number of prongs underneath. Look at your old one and your new one make sure the underside is made the same ✌️

I wish he operated the window at the end... this repair was kinda anticlimactic that he just installed the replacement switch and signed off "ok guys, dats ee't" lol

That's exactly what Mines doing. Every thing works except my driver window won't go down but if it randomly does go down it goes up perfectly fine.
When I hit the switch it makes a noise but won't roll up or down will this fix that issue?

Did that fix the problem? Mine just got rained on. Now the windows won't go back up... Ordering one from Amazon, hopefully that helps.
