Three independent veterinarians were brought in during the fall of 2019 to complete health assessments on Lucy, the Asian elephant at the Edmonton Valley Zoo.
Lucy should be released to the Paws Sanctuary for Elephants in California, so that she could bond with other elephants and the weather suits much better to her than in Canada!
