Yes, very relaxed. I slept off and on until 1:30 on Saturday and rested on Sunday because I was still feeling a bit under the weather with sinuses. Sometimes your body just decides to take it's own rest even when you don't want to.
The first weather system came through and I'm doing okay. Poor animals don't know what to think. I can't wait to see what new subscription box get. Take care and stay safe. Prayers for all who need them.
@cherylfenoglio7826 My poor animals are snuggled up in the house. I have dogs and cats outside that have sleep areas with heat lamps and the wind is blocked by tarps all around.

Cathy, the same thing happened to me with project boxes in 2023. I tried a few due to FOMO and I could not keep up with the projects. I decided there are too many beautiful fabrics and patterns to be limited by mystery subscription boxes. Although, they are lovely, I have found more joy in picking the projects/quilts I want to work on. I am excited for your Green Fairy Quilts haul and to see the new subscription box you have chosen.
I am just about there as well about subscription boxes but it does break up the content on the channel so it isn't all sewing. I am hoping the new subscription box will be here this week as well.
Love your finishes. I am going to do the jellyroll Irish chain quilt next week for a fun winter sew! Thank you for sharing it last fall. I will be using a unwashed jellyroll that I have been hoarding. I am trying to reform my hoarding ways and cu the fabric that I love to enjoy in a quilt top!

If you have finished him, I would love to have a picture for the pattern. I did not get it done in time for this year so there is no hurry. I will get it uploaded as soon as I have that picture. Way tonstart 2025 off with some finishes! I love the Nantucket bag, and have SO many mini charms. I would like to get some made by May. I feel like they would be great to sell along with my soaps, lotions, and lip balms for Mother's Day and Graduation. I remember when you started Pumpkin Charms, and said they could be apples. I 100% agree! I just love your version. I have never had subscription boxes - too costly and not enough time for the projects - I do wish someone offered a quarterly one though. I may consider that. They are calling for snow and ice here Wednesday night through Thursday night. The highway department spent all day salting the the roads....so they are taking it serious. I really hate winter!
The Nantucket bags would be a perfect addition to your items to sell. I think there is 1 box that is quarterly but it is expensive and I can't remember who it is from. We are still on standby for winter weather here.

I was just just getting stuff in them that I have already or wouldn't use. I love Cotton Cuts. After Wild West is done , I am going to start ordering the small sizes. For some reason your videos were not popping up. They are now, thank goodness. You are so ambitious. You put me to shame. I realize what you say is true. In my eagerness to ‘do’, I get overwhelmed and as a result I don’t know what to do. I am going to try to be more realistic. I am curbing my buying for 2025 until such time as I have made a huge dent in all the fabric I accumulated this past year. I was getting Creative Notions and Open Gate. A couple months ago I cancelled both and then quickly regretted not getting the Open Gate box and started that one up again. I may not keep it as I can't keep up. I am retired and still can't keep up. I think I got more done when I was working full time!

I committed to FQS sew sampler for this year, but I also signed up for Dragon Fruit and Piecemaker sampler BOM and Mystery BOM 2024. I've had to painfully choose to not do any more once I'm done with them as I have so many projects that I haven't even started and want to get done and I too have FOMO, but I am going to stick to just watching others enjoy doing them while I do the ones I have on my list that have been there since 2023 lol

I am trying to decide whether to do the Cotton Cuts Flyway - but I don't really see any colors that appeal to me. I have family members still stuck trying to get home through the snow/ ice that fell in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Illinois. Be safe!
At first I didn't think I would find a colorway but I got the Rose one and think I will like it. One thing I have noticed with the PMQ is don't get a colorway that has any fabrics that you aren't really fond of the color because that may be the main color of the quilt. So far that has not happened to me but I have seen a few that I was happy I didn't choose that particular colorway. I hope everyone makes it home safe.
I signed up for Mrs Quilty last night. I wanted a small project box. I to will probably cancel FQS after the peaceful basket. I haven’t really liked the quilt patterns that come with them. I do love the fabric and notions but I’m just not feeling the patterns.
I think Mrs. Quilty has upped their game. When I got the box, the quality of the fabric wasn't so great and everything had a template. Their box is now designed where the first box is basic and each box after that builds on skill level. Thanks for watching!.
