A couple of days ago i picked out my jelly roll pattern from fat quarter shop it's called cross hatch and i also picked out my fabric but i haven't started yet but i am waiting for the jelly roll day.

When is National Sew a Jelly Roll Day?

I started a jelly roll quilt in a sew along with Pat Sloan and life happened, so I’m only half done. So I think I will be sewing on that on National Sew a Jelly roll day. Perfection is over rated, don’t you think? I often am doing hand stitching while “hanging out” with you and really enjoy your videos. ❤❤

I just bought the large stripology ruler. I think I’m going to make the jelly roll Irish chain for my jelly roll day.

I have been quilting 6 months or so

In the words of Mrs. Kim, “people have too much stuff”. (If anyone knows what I am referring to 😂). I see so many people that have FULL garages, where your car should be… it’s kind of sad. Good luck clearing your place out. Isn’t it just the greatest thing having your kids and grandkids all in the same place at the same time. That’s all I ask for!!!

I had so much crafting supplies in my craft room. I used all of it at one time or other. Once I started sewing, and found that was my passion, I cleaned out all the other stuff taking up room. A friend at work was thrilled to receive my craft items. I was glad it went to someone who appreciated it. My sewing room is much more manageable and enjoyable now.

I am anxious to see the Wild West quilt because I did not buy it, I am working on 2 blocks of the month from FQS, and "Scarecrow" and "Snowman". Maybe net time Cotton Cuts comes around, just have to see how many things I've got going. Some days I am just not as productive as I ought to be.

I only turned one section this time. 😊 I have some Halloween fabric that I think will look great for the Disappearing 4 patch. I'm going to try that next week (have family for the next 5 days - Yay!)

Hi Cathy! Last year I had the prettiest medium sized pumpkin in my garden. It was perfect pie size. I noticed when I brought it in a little trickle of juice on the outside. When I cut it open the ants had eaten the inside of that whole pumpkin....gggrrrrr! I hope you share that recipe you were talking about! It sounds delish! I love my house dresses or "muumuu"s" too!😊

I totally understand about the brown. My house was built in 1970, and the walls are wood panel in the hall and living room. It's "dark" in those areas. I've thought about painting the walls, but for now still brown panels.

Yum those fabrics are yummy. I only get the Sew Samples from FQS and find it plus the other block of the months keeps me more busy than I want to be doing quilts and trying to do all the other unfinished projects I need to be doing. So much fabric so little time.

Oh my goodness. I literally just opened mine. I love fall, so you know how I felt about this box. Enjoy these projects. That needle minder is going right on my fall stitching.

My clue 2 for Wild West came yesterday. I was able to finish it today. Only turned one piece backwards. 😂

You surely could use all those reds including the stash fabrics! They look great! I have three patriotic quilts lined up to sew so don't know if I'll tackle this one, but it it really pretty, and I will watch the sew-alongs!
